They have some fancy phone system with extensions instead of answering a single phone line where they screen their calls. They only have three tables inside, and claims to no longer have a dining cover charge. I asked if the patio was licenced, and he pointed to only having three tables. I was told to make a reservation because of their size, and told the owner that it's not feasible if I decide to drive up from Toronto to know what time I should make a reservation for. A very odd owner indeed. He doesn't remember yelling at the group of people who posted a Yelp review from six years ago, and the guy also posted his personal phone number on the review for a call back. I imagine if you buy beers from the bottle shop on a busy day you can't get seating in the summer they won't let you consume them on site on the outside patio. He was definitely annoyed by my questions. Don't want the trouble of meeting the Norfolk OPP to get trespassed off the property. I think I might skip this place.

As a judge for the proceedings I have to say the venue and the bbq was outstanding. After the Competition most of the judges went over to the bar for some of there custom brews. The ones we tried were fantastic. We weren't able to try the food that was on offer as we were satiated from judging the bbq event. The staff is amiable and the beer is cold and delicious. The inside of this place is pretty large with a large bar off to the left side and then some seating and other things off to the right. As I often do whenever I visit a new brewery I decided to go with a flight here. I actually was able to use my wine tastings on beer here but the size wasn't too good and so I paid the $5 for 4 - 4 oz pours. Since the brewery is named 7 sins, as you would guess some of their beer names are also related to that. So for my 4 beers I went with Gluttony (Stout), Pre-prohibition Porter, Greed (Brown Ale) and Frye PA (IPA). Out of the bunch I enjoyed the Frye Pa with the Gluttony coming in a close second. I also thought that the Greed was pretty good but there was something about the porter which I didn't care for. There wasn't anything wrong with it but my palate just didn't care for it. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. I enjoyed most of the beers that I had here and I think that $5 a flight is a steal.

I tried Mic Drop, then brought Invisible Friend, Good As Gold home. Even though Mic Drop's description was fruity, I didn't taste any of the notes, so I preferred the 2 other cans that I brought home. Female bartender who worked during the day was very chatty and friendly! I sat at the bar, but there was also a large, outdoor patio. Highly recommended that you include this brewery when&if you're in Hamilton!

The staff here is just passionate with their beers and I love their seasonal, small batch beer selection. Their Sour beers tastes so yummy. Just Peachy has this nice tartness of Niagara Peaches. You can make your own flight if you want to have a taste of different beers as it is just hard to pick just one. The interior is cute. There are picnic benches with blankets provided on a cold fall evening. Dog Friendly and they even have a weekly event for dog owners. (+1 Star from a pet lover!) And yes, they even have events that is family oriented. Worth dropping by to support this local brewery!

In an unassuming industrial area - aren't they all? - the interior is actually quite BIG and they even had pinball machines off to one side. It wasn't crowded at all on a Saturday afternoon, so there's quite a bit of room to keep your distance while enjoying some drinks indoors! (There's no outdoor seating - at least not when I visited.) I had a flight of lagers, IPA, & a Porter and although I usually drift towards the IPAs, their lagers were great too - quite refreshing and light! Bartender was friendly. Deducting a star because they didn't have 2 brews on tap for some reason that I forgot. So I wasn't able to try those, no biggie, picked them up in can form!
