We've always appreciated that they are open to how we parent: for example, we were vegan for many years and they were kind in ensuring our kids got the nutrients they needed in our way. They've been great about seeing our kids same day when they've had something come up quickly. I especially appreciate that they have the spray mist for flu vaccines because my kids despise needles. If you're looking for new kid care, definitely give them a shot.

Dr. Wendy has a very practical approach and stays up to date with science, medicine and treatment approaches. She takes time to discuss options and gives great advice and the "why" behind it. Our first visit to Suburban Pediatrics was great. The receptionist was quick with the paperwork. They have two waiting areas for the little ones; one for sick patients and another for well patients. Each room has an activity table and a television pumping out kid-friendly shows. The fish tank that separates the rooms is my little guy's favorite feature! We were taken back to the rooms, all of which have different themes. Each room has a wall painted with old-school chalkboard paint for the kids to go crazy on while waiting to see the doctor. The wait wasn't long at all! We've seen 3 different doctors here so far, and each one was awesome. Their bedside manner with kids is superlative. My little one likes to squirm worse than a worm on hook, but the doctors were quite engaging and he actually stayed still enough for a complete check (...and the doctors won't share their secrets!!!) They are also part of the CMC network, so patient info can be accessed from other affiliates as needed. All around, one of the finest doctor's offices I've been to, and it's even better that it's for the important little people in our lives.

Treated me horribly when I tried to tell him the medicine routine wasn't working. He would argue with me over little things. If you see him, he is in control of everything, will discount what you say and leave you feeling like you are not cared for. He is minimalist and will not listen to your input on what medicine you take or how you take them. I have NEVER experienced this with another DR!!!

I called this convenient location (right outside of the Highland Creek/Skybrook area) for an appointment and was happy to hear they would see me on that day! After a quick wait (not even enough time to fill out the compulsory new-patient paperwork!), I was taken to a nicely furnished and SPOTLESS! screening room. I met several members of the staff to include the nurses, reception, PA and the doctor. Each member of the staff that I met was nice, friendly, and talked as if they were real people (meaning no fancy-shmancy medical babble!). I received my shots, and carried on shortly thereafter. My ol' lady had a pleasent visit, as well, but that's for her to tell! Overall, great location, friendly staff, and quick service will keep me coming back for all my medical needs. I should mention that they are part of the CMC network, and as such, have that nifty palm scanner thing that quickly loads all your CMC-related medical history! AWESOME!

They even have little touches like electric outlet, covers to protect any little ones who may be there. Looking out for the kids. I love that! Some of the offices have water coolers. It is basic hospitality to offer a cold drink of water on a hot day. Today was one of those dog days of summer when a drink of water would have been nice. Every thing else is copacetic so being thirsty is a small price to pay.

I was given advice and told to the CVS on Carnegie since they're open for 24 hours. But as soon as I got in my car, I couldn't find a CVS on Carnegie only a Walgreens so I called them to see if they had my medication on file. The medication was not sent to the CVS or the Walgreens on Carnegie but to my CVS on file that closes at 8pm. I called the Walgreens even though I swore he said CVS on Carnegie. The Walgreens saw the mishap they told me to call and get it changed because my insurance had already billed it through CVS. They also said that the CVS shows that they close at 9 PM. I know for a fact they never close at 9pm even though it was 8:15, I drove there anyways as I'm in desperate need of this medication. They were indeed closed, and I can't change the location for pick up as the medication shows pending. I realize now that I should've checked one more time with the front desk at Novant at Cotswold to make sure of the medication pickup. I will have to wait now. The mistake cannot be fixed. This is gonna be a long 24 hours. I should've just gone to the emergency room.

We were seen by Dr. Judy until she retired a few years ago. She was the best Dr. And always very compassionate. All the other doctors. We have seen since then have been fantastic also. Very polite, friendly, efficient, and sympathetic. Everyone here from the receptionists to nurses is very friendly and efficient. The space overall may seem small from the outside but very roomy inside. They have a fish tank and the kids all love it! They have a well-child waiting area and then another waiting area for the kids who are sick. They do have parking on site. It can get packed during peak hours. Overall this is such a great Dr.'s practice and I highly recommend it to anybody who asks. Love to see this practice still thriving even after all these years!

The level of care she provides is the reason we continue to come back. However, the front desk experience has been inconsistent. It seems like every time we come in for a checkup, there is a new receptionist. Most recently, I spoke with Julie, and unfortunately, the interaction was very disappointing. She laughed on the phone when I asked a question, which came across as dismissive and unprofessional. I value this practice and the care my children receive, so I hope this feedback is taken seriously. A more consistent and professional front desk experience would truly match the high standard of care provided by Dr. Goodwin.
