Due to their poor installation workmanship, they failed to seal any openings so mice got in and ate wires. They refused to take responsibility for this and blamed the manufacturer. We googled this matter of installation and across the board every article said sealing holes is one of the most important parts of installation. Allen Pools said they NEVER seal holes. They have totally blown us off, not even returning phone calls. All we want is to have them fix the wiring (and seal holes). They have treated us poorly. Think twice about this company.

They told us many times they would get right back to us and just didn't, and their solution to the problem of our order apparently "disappearing" mid-shipping four months later is to offer us a refund after they held our money and inconvenienced us for five times the amount of time they promised. Then, the owner contacted us and said he would work it out and find us a cover and give us a discount. He just wasted more of our time because he didn't want me to post this review. He would rush order another cover (still no explanation of what had happened to our first order). He also dropped off the face of the earth apparently. We haven't heard from him in weeks. We've found another company to get us a cover in a few weeks.

Upon Jerry's arrival he realized the leak was a simple hose connection. Jerry was extremely knowledgeable and confident in his work. Everything was done in a timely manner. This company does work without your consent, and will charge you!…read more I am disappointed to leave this pool company after 2 years because they went ahead, and did work outside of my agreed upon contract of a pool opening. At no point in time did they contact me to do "additional work". Therefore, be very careful. They replaced a piece that did not need to be replaced on top of my filter, tossed to the side. Not once letting us know. Not once hearing from us to agree on them touching anything outside of an opening. What's more disturbing is now the piece that was replaced I am not sure can go back. Thus, forcing me to now shut off my pool filter and now not using my pool until this company resolves this blatant issue of unauthorized work and possible damage to what they replaced as irreplaceable now. Make sure you find a pool company that values their customers consent on all work done on your property. Especially because I was not even home for this lack of consumer respect. I would ALSO like to point out that the items replaced were there last year and the year before that. and NO ONE DID OUTSIDE REPAIRS UNTIL NOW.
