I found it odd that the actual installer was not the person doing the measuring and FULL payment for Labor & Materials were Required for the next step of scheduling Installation . It came as no surprise that some transition pieces were needed and some other Trim pieces to complete the Job ( Still not completed 3 weeks later ) requiring me to order them and rescheduling . Would it not be easier to have the installer do the measuring to avoid this ? Any way I got a extra unopened box of Mohawk wood flooring that I paid for and charged to install sitting in my basement . I guess maybe having the installer do the measuring would have avoided this unnecessary charge due to OVER ordering ? It's been 3 weeks and I got a full box of material unopened and charged for installation of , I'm missing Trim pieces due to under ordering And Zero Attempts by Buy Low to fix the situation . If You're in the market for a new floor and your going to Buy -Low ? It's probably easier for you to measure your self , over buy forget to order Trim pieces , take 200 dollars and use it as kindling at your next bonfire . It took 4 months to complete a half roof metal roof and tile garage roof. Lesson learned not to pay…read more$21,500 until the job is complete that should have taken a week. * Requested many times to complete the job. Responses were for dates that they did not adhere here to. * When job was finally completed, the roof deflection still leaks. I told them I would seal it myself. * After multiple requests to have nails cleaned up after the job was done, no one came. After 4 months, I am still picking up roof nails. A car in my driveway got a flat tire that I suspect was a result of a nail in my driveway. Thank goodness my dogs did not step on any. Picked up more roof nails today. * After 4 months, I returned supplies left behind by the workers in my garage. Not even a thank you for their return. *Never got a "How'd you like the work?" or a "Thank you for your business!" I am very disappointed and will not engage them for further improvements at my home.

While we did explore searching for samples at several locations, the final decision was made to purchase from Ballston Carpet and Tile because we had narrowed down our possible choices to three - all of which were sold by BC&T. We were very pleased with Craig who assisted my wife in understanding the differences in the fabrics, their wearability, the anticipated delivery times, and who tolerated our slow decision making and the amount of time we held samples at home trying to make a final decision. Craig also kept us apprised of the manufacture's production schedule. The fellow who came to the house to determine the measurements was not only friendly, but also very knowledgeable and willing to share his knowledge regarding proper installation methods and wear. With his input we were able to arrange to include two scatter rugs from the same bolt of carpet to be ordered. Finally, the installer, Justin, was friendly, and did a very professional job of removing the old carpeting and installing the new carpeting. We are very happy that we chose Ballston Carpet and Tile to do this project and have no reservations with recommending them to others.
