The best Condado I've been to! The fullest tacos of all the Condado locations let alone at any taco place I've been too. I was so shocked when I got my tacos, I probably should have ordered one and no chips with queso because I was STUFFED to the brim. I was here pretty late so the staff was more available to be more casual but everyone on the floor was really friendly and the tall gentleman that served me behind the bar was hilarious! Caught me playing Pokémon Go and we had a great chat about it while he was managing other tables. It was impressive to watch that he would stop the conversation and then come back to continue where he left off. Love this Condado! read more

3.5 stars overall - this place is A-ok but I wouldn't go out of my way to visit again. We happened to be next door for an event and afterwards decided to pop in for a bite. It was a random Tuesday night so not very busy, and we were seated right away. They have a nice outdoor patio, indoor tables, and bar seating. I noticed a lot of people picking up takeout, so they must be a local favorite. Our waiter was super nice and came by to check on us regularly. In general, the vibe was lively but everything was a little dirty, including the bathrooms. The menu had tons of options from bowls to burritos to tacos and more. We ended up trying the chips & cheddar queso, which was pretty good, chips just a little greasy. I got the yuzu shrimp taco and Korean BBQ taco, which were interesting with the hard shell encased by flour tortilla - you don't see that everywhere. While the portions were good, I found the quality a little lacking and I favor more authentic-style street tacos anyway so it may be a personal preference thing. Still devoured everything though! Prices were pretty reasonable, and I noticed they also have happy hour deals, lunch deals, etc. so be sure to check that out before planning your visit. read more

Condado in Midtown is a fun, fast option when you want casual tacos and bowls. The space is covered in bold art, the vibe is laid back, and service on our visit was quick and attentive. We started with the Three Buds chips and dips (queso blanco, guacamole, and street corn guac), a solid 4/5. The guacamole here might be the best we've had in Midtown, and the street corn version is my favorite of the three with that extra sweetness and spice. I went with a build-your-own bowl with double chicken on a bed of kale and assorted toppings. Another easy 4/5. The chicken was well seasoned, everything tasted fresh, and the portions were generous enough to make it a full dinner without feeling heavy. We also tried two tacos. The Bacon Chicken Ranch landed around a 3/5. There was plenty of bacon and chicken, but the ranch flavor disappeared a bit, and the large chunks of chicken would've eaten better shredded. The Cali Green was a stronger pick at 4/5 with a flour and hard corn shells layered with guacamole, ground beef, queso, lettuce, pico, smoked cheddar, etc (the list goes on...) which gives it that "loaded taco" feel without going overboard. This is much like the Condado Tacos in Troy. It has a nice vibe with cool wall art and a nice outdoor eating area. The service was good. Our server was friendly and attentive. Like the Troy place it is nice to see that they also have vegan options too. The food came out quick and was alright. I had a build your own burrito and it was good. My wife did the same but the rice that was in it was either way overcooked (bottom of the barrel to say), or way undercooked because it was very crunchy. One other thing that I will mention is that the floor was sticky kind of like when you go into an old movie theater. Overall it was a good experience and I will probably try them again. read more

I got a margarita flight with some chips and salsa to munch on and three tacos to go. Can't say the tacos were good or not haven't dived in yet!! But I will be back to dine-in. Update: Got home and was ready to enjoy my tacos. Opened the tapped box they came in and immediately smelled seafood. My entire order was incorrect I ordered Carne asade and brisket and pork tacos. Called the restaurant they weren't very helpful offering an apology but told me I'd have to reorder my food if I wanted a delivery BUT would issue me a refund. So I proceeded to order from their site and the manager assured me I'd receive a refund. To date I have not received a refund. Furthermore, my delivery was messy, COLD and unappetizing. I got a packed bowl with veggie chorizo and poblano peppers. I added all the extras. This was an amazing value for just over ten bucks. The perfect spice level left me with a warm internal feeling. One of the things we ordered was chips & queso, and each time the chips were barely gone, a server brought us more! The menu was a little confusing to me, with build-your-own items as well as specific dishes. I ordered a build your own taco with brisket as well as a chicken bacon ranch taco. They were both very good, although I've never understood the purpose of layering a flour tortilla and a crispy tortilla, except to add more calories! (To be honest, I didn't read the description closely enough, so I missed that detail) I don't usually order alcoholic beverages, but someone in our party ordered the dragonfruit habenero margarita (or something like that) and offered me a taste. I really liked it, except for the spice. The server came by right about then and said they can make it without the spice, so I got one. And it looked so pretty! The one thing that was really odd to me was that they had regular table service like at any other restaurant, but everything was served in disposable containers with plasticware. I hope it's compostable because that's a LOT of unnecessary waste. If I'm near Condado Tacos again, I would certainly consider it! read more

They do have a full bar but I ordered a hibiscus margarita. It was really good wasn't too sweet. Their menu had 2 different sides. One side their selection of tacos, nachos, bowls and more. The other build your own. This is where it was at for me!! The nachos I built was on point!! This place doesn't play on the toppings!! These nachos were packed and soo tasty. The Mr. and I stopped by Condado Tacos for a business lunch. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. We sat outside on the patio and enjoyed the nice views. I ordered three build-your-own firecracker tacos with brisket, red cabbage, tomatoes, and lime cilantro aioli. The tacos were fantastic! They had a great ratio of meat to everything else, were neatly packed, and incredibly fresh. The taco shells were fresh with a lovely heavy coating of firecracker seasoning, the brisket was juicy and fall-apart tender, and the cabbage and tomatoes were crisp. The aioli added a delicious touch as always! I had water while eating there, but I ordered a Coke with extra ice to-go. Our server, Deshawna, was so sweet, gracious, and attentive! She made the experience even better with her pleasant demeanor. I would definitely recommend Condado's! They have great food, affordable pricing, and they're allergy-friendly. The tacos were pretty good as well as the queso, but it wasn't very flavorful. I didn't like the Mexican street corn, unfortunately because that's what I was most excited about. I was kinda confused because I didn't know they were suppose to be hot or cold. lol but when I told the server she got right on it and brought me some fresh steaming hot nachos. 10/10. Very flavorful and big portion for the price. The tacos were equally as good. But sadly I had to take my tacos to go because the nachos were so filling. They all had a unique taste. I've had multiple orders where they have forgotten or mixed up multiple ingredients and today the rice was mushy, which I have never seen at a restaurant before. Not sure I'll ever go back to this location. Please properly train your employees and have appropriate protocols in place for cooking, assembling and customer service so these tasks are done well every time. read more

The parking is street, but there was an available spot right outside the door. The decor is hip and inviting. The margs are fun and really like the fruit with the spice you can get. I've been to Condados a few times. I knew that I didn't like their food but I got invited out with some friends for lunch so I bit the bullet and gave them another chance. I got the build your own tacos. I got a chicken and a beef taco on flour tortillas. They lacked flavor, as usual. The tortillas were a little tough, they couldn't have been fresh. I got a margarita with a salt rim for the beverage. the house margarita was $9.50. That's pretty high to me. Especially for a drink that I barely even tasted the liquor in. It tasted like straight up sour mix and idk she put in it that made it fizzy like a soda.. I also don't like that I asked for sour cream and the bartender asked me how many I wanted so I got two to be on the safe side, only to get my bill and find out that sour cream was $1 a piece. I think imma just hang it up and accept the fact that I don't like Condados. read more

A small group of us decided to have a taco night. The location wasn't far from us so we dropped in. The interior was super cute and this place is good from groups. They have an extensive bar menu and the food selection is okay. This is a place good for pre or post activity drinks but would not be my go to for dinner. I found the food to lack seasoning and when I think of Mexican food I know that the food is packed with flavor and I'm going to do a food dance. I had a mocktail - cactus juice which was delicious. The rest of the party had a soda or cocktail. For those with cocktails they enjoyed them. Would definitely return for some drinks. I tried a trio of dips ($12 for 3 half dips) - I love how the chips are SUPER thick and crunchy and don't break in the dip :) The Queso is to die for! Guacamole was fresh and light tasting, pineapple salsa was nice too. The Korean Taco ($5) didn't *look* like much but boy was it a flavor bomb! Love the double shell concept too! It was a tad salty, which was fine for be because I love salt but for someone sensitive to salty foods it might be a bit much. The only thing I wasn't wow'd by were the bacon refried beans, they were a bit watery for my taste (I'm used to authentic refried beans made with lots of lard, lol!) but had a nice bacon flavor!
