I thought I would drive down the road a bit to check out this fabric store, sure that I might find some other fabric that I could have fun with. To be honest, I didn't think I would find much, as Jeri's Quilt Patch is the only fabric store for miles. I was pleasantly surprised when this house-turned-business space had walls and walls of fabric, quilting kits, accessories, tools, and examples. My cousin, a quilter, would have been in heaven. There were so many versatile examples which I appreciated, although I sew different projects. I also appreciated the fabric was often organized by "collections" and complimentary colors. The owner, I'm assuming Jeri, was very kind, helpful and efficient in her checkout process, even though it wasn't anything fancy. Not surprisingly, I walked out of there with more than I planned to and I enjoyed browsing everything. She also has a fun collection of decor and antiques upstairs. I was happy to support this small business and would recommend it for any crafter passing through this area - the locals clearly already know that it's a gem!
