Brad Harris, the owner, came out and talked with us to see what we wanted and to take measurements and discuss materials. He promptly sent us a proposal by email. We were not ready to move forward immediately and before we could set a date we were contacted again by Brad. He had paving stones left over from previous jobs and sent us a photo to ask if we liked them -- and told us that he would give them to us for free to save us a little money. This is typical for this company. They are always striving to provide a great product at the least cost for the customer. At the end of July we were ready to have the patio installed and Brad and his crew showed up on time and ready to go. They do one job at a time and stay until your job is done. Unlike some other companies, they do not disappear for days at a time to work on another job while your job is half done. They are very professional and have a huge trailer to carry their equipment. Brad and his crew are always ready for the unexpected. When digging up the old patio they discovered there was a cement slab beneath the bricks. A lot of companies would tag on extra charges for something like this but not Tranquility Outdoors. They had a jackhammer and busted up the concrete and added it to the debris to be carried off. The completed patio is absolutely beautiful. They used surveying equipment to get the tilt perfect so that rain would run off one side. It is such a slight tilt you would need the surveying equipment to know it's even there. The stones are laid in a beautiful pattern and look like they were part of the original landscaping. They scattered seed and covered it with straw around the edges for us. Tranquility Outdoors is known to do little extras while on site to help the customer at little or no additional charge. A neighbor wanted the old bricks from our patio. Brad went to the neighbors house, hooked up their trailer and brought it over to our house, loaded the bricks and returned the trailer to the neighbors home. We noticed that a slate step coming down from our porch was broken and Brad repaired it with a piece of slate from an existing walkway -- again at no cost to us. He even noticed a low spot in our front yard where we had put some fill dirt and took some extra seed and scattered it covering it with straw for us -- at no charge and without us asking. We have always been extremely happy with this company's work ethic and with the end product they create. They are just a stellar company all the way around. Anything they build for you -- Tranquility Outdoors will make sure you are happy with. And it all gets done with no headaches!

They help us with our renovation, but have consistently cut corners, delayed our project, damaged our house and items and then disappeared on us. Our kitchen which we contracted with them in December for a February start, has lead us to terminate our usage of their services. Our wall oven was installed, and it's crooked. Our new 48 inch a range was installed at an angle (probably because they miss-cut our granite). The new hood they installed - we are hiring another company to re-install because it wasn't done properly. Lastly the job that they told us would be a few weeks, dragged on for 8. We gave them a deadline and they missed it. Then they stopped responding for over 2 months. Suddenly out of the blue the project manager called us and wanted to finish our job. Well after a month of being ignored, we hired someone else to finish it, so that wasn't happening. Then Doug called and wanted to settle our payment since we were 'refusing access' to the job site and 'ghosting' him. That's some kind of magic trick my wife and I pulled off, hiding from a contractor who had our money, knew our address and phone numbers, ignored deadlines and phone calls and texts. After moving into a newly built home in early 2021, I decided to request estimates for adding a…read morescreened/open deck. I researched the reviews of many companies and obtained multiple estimates. My final decision to select Leesburg Decks was easy. Above all I felt the most comfortable with Scott and how he patiently detailed all of my design plans and provided a few of his own that really brought the project together. The project consisted of a 16' x 14' screened porch and an attached 26' x 12' open deck using Trex, aluminum rails and PVC wrapping, porch fan, LED lighting on the open deck and 6 steps leading down to a small ground platform also made with Trex. Lattice wrapped the entire deck with landscape timbers and landscape stones. Each day the crew arrived early and cleaned the area before departing.
