Finally, was able to do it last month. Purchased tickets in advance and showed up with enough time to shop in the gift shop and use the restroom. They have a very nice facility here with plenty of parking, a cafe, a large gift shop, and an observation tower. Spotless inside and well-run. Also, a penny press! Our tour guide, Chuck I believe, was wonderful. Extremely friends and funny and knowledgable about the cave but also about Chattanooga and the surrounding area. They are really doing a lot of tours. Since you walk 0.5 miles to the waterfall underground, it's a bit of a slog to keep getting to the side so groups of 30-40 can go by (tight space). We probably had to do this about 5-6x during our tour. The falls are amazing, but, walking the half mile through the cave and seeing all the other formations was wonderful too. There really are a lot of examples of formations and some unique ones like Angel's Wings, Western Sunset and Leo's Passage. Our group was large, but we had a good time and everyone was polite. The only thing I was disappointed in was that the waterfall wasn't illuminated for us to walk up to it - instead, we walked in in the dark and all crowded around it - so, when the lights came on, I wasn't able to get an approach or long shot of it in full length. They do have first tours of the day and adult-only tours so, if I come back again, I may look into that.

It was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. I was a little skeptical about whether my younger kids would be able to handle the walk, but it ended up being very manageable. We just stayed attentive and reminded them not to touch the formations, just as our guide instructed. I also thought the timed viewing at Ruby Falls was a really smart idea. I initially wasn't sure how I'd feel about the time limit, but the coordinated lighting gives everyone enough time to take photos, enjoy the waterfall, and then make room for the next group. It kept everything moving smoothly without taking away from the experience. My kids absolutely loved it, and so did I! We also enjoyed browsing the gift shop and picking up a few souvenirs to remember our visit. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we'd love to come back the next time we're in the Chattanooga area.

I'm pretty sure I said "oh wow" about 40 times and "that's so cool" at least 20 times. If you have any interest/appreciation of nature, the formations in the cave will not disappoint. It will impress you with regard to size, and the huge chandelier and story behind it was very cool. We enjoyed our tour. It was just our little 3 person family so it was like having a private tour. We knew nothing about this cave when we arrived, but we left with a lot of interesting facts. If you're looking for an interesting place to spend an afternoon, I would highly recommend this place!

Great location located between West End and 21st Avenue that is near Vanderbilt and Hillsboro Village. I attended the grand opening party for this unique venue space this week and was thoroughly impressed by the layout as this space is truly convertible with an option to tent the front area, open the floor to ceiling doors to open the main room up, and the back patio that connects to the surrounding deck space. The high alter ceilings (this space was previously a church) add to the ambiance along with the lighting. The representative for Ruby stated that nearly 250 could fit comfortably in the space depending on the furniture layout and event structure. At this fete' there were 6 stations featuring food from local restaurants and catering brands and 2 bar areas that flowed nicely. They also had a band performing during the event which showcased the room's acoustics nicely as well. Ruby would be a great place to host a party, musical showcase, or various other events. i look forward to coming back. TIP: Valet parking is offered at this event venue.

I'm so glad I googled and saw that it's about 90% shade in the beautiful natural rock formations and caves that make up the majority of the park. Plenty of parking, charming location, and gorgeous natural scenery and rock with the park built to complement and draw upon what nature has already done. I was alone, but plan to bring my two-year old back in a few years when she's old enough to enjoy this, I think she will absolutely love it. Lover's Leap is stunning and my favorite of the 4 paths was Hall of the Mountain King. This place is amazing. Touristy? Sure. But worth it. You can tell the amount of attention to detail and love that went into developing every part of this place. Nothing is looked over. Even the sidewalks have small design elements built in. Love! This brought me back to the years of my childhood spent climbing rocks and building dams in our creek in rural Virginia. Let the imagination run wild!

For 3.5…read morehours, it was just my guide and me exploring the wild side of an underground cave beneath Raccoon Mountain near Chattanooga, Tennessee. This wasn't a tourist cave tour--it was true wild spelunking that pushed both body and mind. Every twist and turn brought a new challenge as we climbed, crawled, scrambled, and carefully navigated rugged terrain where every step demanded focus. It was exhilarating, physically demanding, and an absolute adrenaline rush from start to finish. The last time I experienced wild caving was at ages 10 and 11 with the Boy Scouts. Back then I was probably half my current weight and a lot smaller! Returning to the underground decades later made this adventure even more rewarding. My guide and I hit it off, and I told him that when he visits family in Eustis, Florida, I'll return the favor by taking him on a kayaking adventure. Life's greatest adventures often begin where most people turn around. I can't wait to find the next wild cave and do it all over again! That cave reminded me that adventure has no age limit--only a willingness to keep exploring.

For the price, I feel like the overall experience could have been a little better. I saw the prices online but must have misread them because I assumed it was $17.99 for adults and $8.00 for children. However, my wife said she paid $80.00 for the four of us. The customer service from Mr. Roger was AMAZING! I really enjoyed how he interacted with everyone, made sure we were watching our steps, and kept us informed along the way. His personality and customer service definitely made the experience a 4-star experience for me! The ride up was nice, and we were able to see so many beautiful homes along the way. The views were absolutely gorgeous! Once we reached the top of the mountain, we went to the observatory deck, where we enjoyed taking in the beautiful city views. Afterward, we left the trolley and took a short walk around the neighborhood. The views on the ride back down were beautiful . The line wasn't long at all, and I loved that the trolleys run every 10 minutes, which makes it convenient when you're ready to head back down. Overall, it was a nice experience, and I'm glad we got to enjoy it as a family. I just wish the price matched the overall experience a little better.

I debated making my own but decided I didn't want the stress and once I looked at the cost of buying supplies I would need and the time I would spend, I decided to just go ahead and place the order since it would be the "wow" factor when people walked into my home for my party on May 1. To have VroomVroom install, your order must be $600 at minimum. I believe I spent around $380 so I didn't go for the install and just picked up my garland - which the owner did carry out to my car for me. It was beautiful and full. It was SO easy to hang. I attached the garland on 2 places on my banister in my foyer. Photos attached. May was definitely a busy time for them and they are booming in business. I went in person to pick out my balloon colors and place my order face to face. I also placed my order weeks in advance because I know the spring is so busy for party vendors. I'm so happy I went for it and ordered these. And the garland lasted for 3 weeks! I then took it down and let a friend use it for a party she hosted. The balloons had gone down some but were still adorable. Now just remember- these balloons were inside, in a climate controlled environment. I'm sure if outside and in extreme temps, they wouldn't last long. But what Balloon would? I will order again for a special occasion and love the backdrop and photo opportunities!

And the people I'll never get over how wonderful they were all were to us! We went to Ruby Falls rock city Park point and stopped at several of the small shops on the way up. We could not do the incline due to my grandson's fear Heights, but we did watch it several times from different advantage points every penny we spent was worth it and 1 million more. The memories made this week will last a lifetime for me and I'm so thankful we were able to take our grandsons and experience this beautiful amazing place with them.
