we had an emergency type situation. We arrived just at closing time and they treated us very well. It was a Friday night and I am sure that they were anxious to get out of there, but you couldnt tell it by treatment we got. It was very nice, we got what we needed and we left smiling. I was fitted for a bra as I was told that I was currently wearing the wrong size. I purchased two (the same style and brand). I wore the first one on a trip and I was miserable. After a short period of time, I realized how uncomfortable it was and it did not, in fact, fit. When I returned home, I went to the store to return them and receive a refund. I was told that there were no refunds and that it was posted on the counter (who really pays attention to ALL of the signage anywhere?). I did receive an in store credit which was not satisfactory in my opinion as one was NEVER worn and had the tags in tact. I asked to speak to a manager and the owner came out. I explained the situation and told her the same thing about reading signage and said that this is something they should tell folks at the time of a purchase. I was NOT informed of this when purchasing. If I had been, I wouldn't have bought both bras and instead, just one. The owner was anything, but customer friendly. She refused to acknowledge my frustration. "Providing a great fit and great service" was a joke. The owner has no business being "customer facing". Based on how she spoke to me, a customer, I can only imagine how she treats her employees. I will donate my "in store credit" to someone that would not be in a position to shop there again. I have to wear compression socks. I was seeking an alternative to Carle Medical Supply and wanted to stay with a local company, so I went to Confidentially Yours. They offered two brands, the more expensive Juzo or the slightly less expensive no-name brand. I wanted to save a little money, so I got the no-name brand. Still $50.00 a pair, so not cheap. I didn't try the new socks on the second I got them home, because I was waiting for my Juzos to wear out. It was several months before I was ready to start wearing the new no-name socks. The very first time I put on the very first sock, my finger poked a hole right through the fabric! So naturally I took them back to the store, receipt in hand. Did I get a refund? Nope. Did I get an exchange or store credit? Nope. Nada. I got an apology. The owner of the store expressed her sincere regrets, but said she was a small business and couldn't afford to just be handing out refunds willy-nilly. At no time did she ever point to a refund policy. My receipt did say, in small print, "Please notify of any shortages or discrepancies within five (5) days of receipt of goods or no credit will be allowed." But of course this was not a shortage or discrepancy. It was a plainly defective compression sock, one which I had plainly never worn before. So no, I won't be going back to Confidentially Yours. I'll be ordering my compression socks online, where the customer service is ironically better. read more

I took my 12 year old daughter to get her first sized bra today. A friend of mine recommended Confidentially Yours, and I am so glad that she did! The young woman that helped us was amazing, and she found two bras that my daughter loves! One with underwire, one without. She also found a great bra for me too! I had grown to detest bra-shopping over the years, and Confidentially Yours changed that in one visit. First of all, they had my size! Normally, at a department store, I'm lucky if they have three different kinds of bras for me to try on in my size. And at Target or Victoria's Secret--well, forget about it. At this place, the saleswoman pulled out nearly 20. She even brought me a bunch of bras from the sales rack. And they were cute! I've never even had the option of buying a colored bra in my size, but I had so many options here. If you wear a D cup or over, you're not going to find a better selection in town. They have every size you could imagine, even if your band size is very small. Second, the saleswoman was excellent at dealing with all kinds of customers. I'm an "I know my size; leave me alone" kind of shopper. The saleswoman clearly sensed that, made herself available to me, but didn't impose at all. As it turned out, after I tried on one of the billion bras that she had pulled for me, I realized that I had gone up a cup size. When I told her, she didn't mind at all! She just came back with hangers and hangers of other bras that I could try. At department stores, I've had so many salespeople act like I was too demanding, just for asking for an unusual size. There was absolutely none of that here. Third, If you do need sizing, they are also helpful. I overheard the woman in the next dressing room asking for help. She'd recently lost some weight and needed to be measured. The sales associate measured her band size and then told her that when it came to cup size, she was really best off trying on a few bras to see what fit best, since the cup measuring system is imperfect. Finally, someone admits it! I've been to so many stores that insisted on measuring me and then told me some bogus cup size that wouldn't even begin to fit me. As breasts get larger, they don't grow directly out from your body like torpedoes! They spread out, and you can't measure that by just wrapping a tape measure around someone. You really are better off just trying on the bras. Fourth, the place is cuter, cleaner, and homier than any department store. Plus, they have a reward point system for regular shoppers, give you discounts for your birth month, etc. The pricing is about the same as you'd find at a department store. I tend to spend between $35 and $65 on a quality bra, and most were in that range here. I did happen to find one on sale for $25, which was perfect, though. When I've read other online reviews of CY (not just here), I've seen a lot of complaints about the return policy. I did see a sign about it in the fitting room when I was there, and it looked a bit strict. I suppose this is because it's underwear, and a small local business can't absorb the costs of throwing used items away when they're returned the way that a chain store could. If you're in a situation where you need to try on several bras with a dress that you have at home and then return the ones you don't want, I'd recommend that you just go to the department store where that's easier to do. Or bring the dress in to Confidentially Yours because I'll bet they wouldn't care. Bra shopping has been downright traumatic for me, and I've never been able to buy the cute stuff at the nice lingerie places just because of my bra size. Confidentially Yours actually made me feel good about being the size that I am, and for once in my life, I really enjoyed shopping for my bras! read more

I have now had the opportunity to go to Confidentially Yours twice, and I will not make it a third. The first time I went in I was looking for a nursing bra. I am a woman of the smaller persuasion and I had met employees of the store at a local breastfeeding event. They claimed to have thousands of bras in ALL sizes, including nursing bras. Well, the only thing they had in my size was a night-time bra, which you might as well go without during the day. But hey...I figured that this was a specialty item and didn't think too much about it. I recently went back in looking for a new (non-nursing) bra in my (small) size and wanting to support a local business. If you are a D cup or above, you will have absolutely NO problem finding numerous selections in this store. However, they were only able to find 3 bras in my A-cup size, and one of them looked like it should plug in and light up. I might point out that the average woman is a 34B. That means that there are a LOT of women out there smaller than this size. So to ONLY represent women of larger cup sizes is INCREDIBLY frustrating (albeit very common). Worse, the sales people made me feel like I had three eyes for not being over-the-moon pleased with the 3 that they had. My time was wasted and I left personally very frustrated. In response to a review about this store not having bras for women with small sizes and as a woman with a large chest, I have to say go anywhere in town and you'll find something that fits and that is pretty. If you have a big chest this is the place to go. You will not find much in the way of larger cup sizes elsewhere and certainly not nice looking bras. As that reviewer pointed out, the average woman is a B/C cup, and that is just the problem for those of us who blow the curve (pun intended) by a mile. I would never have good (and pretty) bras without Confidentially Yours. Period. The only thing that would make my rating 5 star would be better selection of sports wear and bathing suits. read more

I went to Confidentially Yours after several frustrating attempts at finding comfortable, supportive, and pretty (if it's not too much to ask) bras in larger sizes in local department stores. I'm newly pregnant, and already outgrowing all of my bras. When they asked to help me, I was initially looking for nursing bras. The person who helped me suggested I try regular bras for now, since my size will probably change close to a month before delivery. This was great advice. I had never been measured for a bra, and I don't know why I had not had it done before. My band size was the same as I have been wearing, but my cup size was WAY off. Rather than measure for cup size, they had me try on the same bra with different cups to see what looked and felt best. I was looking at the letters and was sure I had found the right one, but the center of the bra was not lying flat against my chest, so it was not right. I put the larger size on, and WOW. Apparently this is how a bra is SUPPOSED to fit. It immediately felt totally different than anything I had worn before. After finding my true size, the salesperson brought a variety of bras back to try on. Based on what I liked and disliked about each one, she suggested some better fits for what I was looking for. I ended up with two beautiful and well-constructed bras: the first one I tried on, which was far and away the most comfortable bra I have ever worn; and a fancy lace model that looks and feels amazing. I have never found such beautiful bras in larger sizes. Other reviewers seem surprised about their return policy. I'm not sure how you could miss this. It is clearly stated in several places: in the fitting rooms on a sign, on a sign next to the register, and it was clearly explained by the person who helped me. I feel that their policy is fair for a small business. They also offer a points program that will earn you free merchandise, making their prices competitive with department stores. I've already qualified for a free panty with my purchase of two bras. During your birth month, you get 20% off on a single visit. read more

This place sucks. I went to return something I purchased 7 days ago and was only given store credit. No one informed me of their rediculous return policy. And when I questioned it there was a small frame hidden on the cash register with 4 pt font that outlined their return policy. Now I COULD understand if they wouldn't return my item because it was a bra, because that can be a personal item. However why can't I just have my money back!!!! read more

I went to Confidentially Yours to get a nursing bra. After being fitted and trying on the only 3 styles of bras that they have in my size, I went home with the one that seemed to fit the best. At first it seemed very comfortable and had good support. Within a couple days I had sore places under my armpits from where the underwire was rubbing and poking me. I went back to the store explained what the bra was doing and showed the employee, who had fitted me into that bra, the red marks. She brought out the exact same other bras for me to try that did not fit me the first time. When I told her they don't fit she said I could try a tank top or cami, but that's all she had. I said that didn't help me because I need a BRA and I asked to speak to the owner. The owner remeasured me and said that the bra I bought was the wrong size. She said it's because I'm a 34 band, not the 36 that the other lady had me in, and it was sliding around. She said I should be in a 34 but with a larger cup but the bra I bought does not come in that size. Again, I was brought the 2 other styles of nursing bras that they carry but neither fit me right. They didn't have any other styles in my size, so I left with my uncomfortable bra and was hoping it would "break in" and get better. The sores under my armpits have only gotten worse and I can't even wear the bra anymore. I called and asked if I could just bring it back for a refund because it's not just uncomfortable anymore, it's hurting me now because it's rubbed those spots for several days. The employee that I spoke to said they usually don't offer refunds, only store credit, but that the owner might make an exception in my case since I'd been in and they had worked with me. The owner was supposed to call me back but instead had the employee call to tell me that I can't return the bra. The owner remembered me and noticed a little red on the bra under the arms from a red shirt bleeding onto it, so she couldn't resell it. She offered me 20% off of an item. I do not need anything else and they don't have a bra to fit me! I am a stay at home mom and I wear the same bra until it doesn't fit anymore. I don't have $70 to just throw away, which is why I went to a professional place to get fitted and to get help buying the right bra. This is my 4th child and I have bought nursing bras, and some regular bras, from Confidentially Yours since my first child was born over 10 years ago. I have at least 2 years of nursing this baby left, which means I will be buying a few more nursing bras. I will not be giving them any more of my business! read more

If I could give negative stars I definitely would. I have had nothing but problems when dealing with the staff, and now the owner, of this store. They overcharge prior to billing items to insurance and then refuse to refund the difference. I've had to get my insurance company involved for two years in a row now to get them to do the right thing, and this year they still refuse to do so. The in-store service is deplorable, the staff seems to be either under trained or completely untrained. It takes them months (literally) to submit a claim, produce a refund and respond to inquiries. Don't let their promise of providing you with "a great fit, great service & compassion" fool you - they are just interested in getting the most money from you, for the least effort. If you just want some so-so underthings and don't mind a self-service place this store might be passable, but if you are undergoing or have undergone treatment for breast cancer I would strongly suggest you look elsewhere for the things that you need. read more

Last Saturday, I was greeted in a timely manner but after the associate learned the fitting was for my teenage daughter, she quickly dismissed us, "I have two ahead of you, it will be at least 45 minutes." She literally walked away. I gave her the opportunity to engage with us by browsing the store, something that she should have offered us to do, but didn't, and she went over to help the ONE couple that was in the store. If THAT is what's considered "busy" and multi tasking can't be done, then I have no idea how this place has been in business for so long. As someone in a health related, retail office, myself, there are so many suggestions I could have given this woman. The whole interaction was handled so poorly that my daughter and I, who had to figure the layout of the store on our own, (a brief tour on her way back to meet the only other couple in the store would have convinced me that she wanted our business and would not have inconvenienced the other customer in the least), finally left due to no indication that she ever intended to help us. I can make assumptions that she's just cranky and doesn't enjoy her job or that she pre judged my pocketbook by her gaze of disgust on my teenage daughter who has alternatively colored hair... but in the end we spent our money elsewhere.. as it turns out, I'm not so bad at fitting bras! read more

I recently had a mastectomy on the right side only. This was a very emotional event for me. I went in once before the surgery explaining what was going to happen as mine was not due to cancer, but another disease. They explained what my options would be right after surgery and had me try on a couple of bras. They showed me prosthetic options and soothed me as I broke into tears. I went in later to purchase the bra. They dealt directly with my insurance company. I recently went in to get fitted for a prosthetic and my new "real" bras. They were wonderful and made me feel good about myself. Their return policy is clearly spelled out and more than fair. They had a large selection and made sure I tried on each style I was going to buy. Love this place! read more
