Found a shoe my son liked wait for someone to check shoes size... waited for like 10 mins I flagged some down asked him about the shoes size he went and got it then walked off waited 10 more mins then a guy said he didn't work in that department but he would go check... 10 more mins go by I see a customer that was helped and he walked off to go buy his shoes no problem. See a lady and her husband get a pair of shoes and go about their way... the guy came back gave me the shoes they fit and he turn and said I have to walk these shoes up to the register.... I said oh now that I have two pairs of shoes I get and escort to the register but 40 mins ago I couldn't even get someone to help me now I have some funky shoes yall have the secret service escort me to the front! My boys this is money we are spending and we didn't have to take this half ace service being given to us... turn to the guy and said thanks but no thanks we will go someone where else where we are a priority! Went to the other shoes store JDs and 10/10 compared to what dicks gave us... bought 4 nice pairs of shoes and if dicks keep it up they can cancel me cause I won't shop where my dollar isn't worth it. Half of these kids working don't even wanna be there... but are hired on the spot just to give their shifts away.... Wake up it's only a matter of time they will all be replaced... they got two stars because they're some good employees there the service that say was the worst by far.

DO NOT buy at PAC SUN in Champaign IL Mall. As I entered the store an employee was talking in an…read moreagitated manner to someone toward the rear of the store. As I passed the checkout counter where no one was at I placed an empty 1oz sample mall tea cup on the counter to have a hand available for shopping. I thought this would be better than taking a chance of accidently sitting it down somewhere else in the store. I left it there as I didn't see a trash can. My Girlfriend, I and her son went to the back of the store to pick out clothes for him for Christmas. We took a shirt to checkout and a different employee came to the counter to check out with my girlfriend. While checking out, the employee rudely and aggressively told me that I had to take the cup because their trash was full. I took the cup and stood waiting. During the checkout I noticed that the ~3 gallon garbage can was full but had an empty paper bag on top that could have held hundreds of these tiny little cups. My girlfriend was so offended by the employee's actions she took the cup from me and placed it on the table as she walked out of the store. The employee saw the cup and came running and yelling at me. She ran past a Mall employee pushing a large dumpster while yelling and running thru the Mall. I stopped and took the cup from her and threw it in the dumpster as it passed. The PacSun employee made numerous extremely rude and mean gestures at me then and again when I walked past the store several minutes later. This employee is psychotic. What happened to polite customer service?

They always have a good selection of affordable commuter grade bikes for sale. Its also a great…read moreplace to check out if you like working on your own bike but don't necessarily have all the tools or facility to do so. The memberships are pretty cheap. As for the rest of us, who don't like to get down and dirty with our bikes and would prefer to spend more time riding our bikes than working on them, you might want to go to a real bike shop. Its okay for the occasional tube or bike light purchase but if you frequent the shop, you might be STRONGLY encouraged to buy a membership. I stopped visiting due to this a few years ago and I'm not the only one who would rather pay more elsewhere to avoid being harassed into a membership. If I have to pay a little more for the supplies, I'm okay with that, but I don't want to buy a membership to work on my bike if I'm never going to do so. I would rather pay a mechanic to work on my bike for me so I can spend that time doing things more important to me. Its also not a great place for high end or high quality items. They're mainly catering to the college/commuter crowd. But if you're looking for a deal! This is the place to go!
