What we wanted was a church that was community friendly meaning they would greet and talk to us and get to know each you know life outside of church, a church that utilized expository preaching meaning to break down the scripture in its correct or accurate context, and a church that is filled with the Holy Spirit, meaning I'm not just hopping up and down filled with emotion but instead filled with conviction, peace, hope, love. Every time we leave I find that I'm not just filled with this artificial fire or strange fire but the conviction of the Holy Spirit and recognizing my deep dependency of Him!!! This church has filled our prerequisites for a faithful church to the Lord. It makes it more personal that it's small as well!! I love this church and we have made this our church home!!

Father Dennis is our new pastor and he is a really good man and gives good mass. The community is somewhat diverse and skews towards local Latinos and older, white couples. That's a broad generalization but mostly accurate. I attend here with my family, where my daughter takes first communion class on Sundays and is fulfilling her religious education. They have cool fish fries and other meals and activities. They keep Mass to 55 minutes and also have a spanish mass once a week. It just feels like home.

From my very first conversation with Allison at the church I was so impressed. Not only is the church lovely but everyone we worked with was kind, patient, accepting and just genuinely loving and supportive of my couple having to make a tough call to move their wedding from the original outdoor location they envisioned to a new location. Pastor Karla worked with the couple to customize a beautiful and thoughtful ceremony and honestly the whole thing was amazing. I am so thankful for their help and support and was really impressed by the caring and welcoming people in the church!
