I was able to go in with an idea, have it heard, and then done within an hour! Nicole is so awesome and I loved having my third tattoo done by her. She made me feel comfortable and joked around to distract me. I decided spur of the moment to get one done to mark my time in Ireland and everyone there treated me like I was the most important customer they've ever had (they treated everyone that came in while I was there like that so it's definitely their style)! Came here with a friend in November to book an appointment for later that day. They were super accommodating and were able to work around my schedule - my friend who wasn't supposed to have anything done decided to get one right away and they fit her in as well! Topper did both of our tattoos and was just fantastic, I think we both fell in love with him a bit. Our tattoos came out great, small pictures/text, 50-60€/each. This place is clean, everyone was so cool and nice and even though I almost passed out (I was so nervous) I can't wait to go back here for my next tattoo in a April when I'm back in town. Recently during my trip to Dublin I had my tattoo done at Connected Ink. I felt that the staff was not very friendly, nor helpful in offering suggestion. I had my trinity knot done by Brendon and the outlines are not consistent in depth. One of the corners the outline is so thin it's not even visible (still not sure there's even an outline). Then on others parts the outline is thick and uneven! Then there's the coloring..... What can I say. I'm pretty sure there shouldn't be flesh tone showing between the outline and the color. I love the design, which I found on Pinterest but now I have to have it fixed. Not sure how that will turn out. Very disappointed. read more

I recommend visiting once before you get the tattoo, it helps you get comfortable with the place and the artists. Came to Connected for my first tattoo! Wandered around Dublin looking for the right spot and felt immediately at home upon walking up the stairs to Connected. The staff is very welcoming, informative, and kind. Definitely took away the first time jitters. Dylan was my artist and he did a wonderful job. Very pleased with my ink as well as with his ability to chat to take my mind off the process. The price was more reasonable than I expected! Connected Ink is a legit shop with professional artists. It's not a tourist-trap place where you get a shamrock for €30, which was great because even though we were tourists we didn't want that experience. My husband is fully tattooed, I have plenty, and our good friends own a successful shop in the states so we would've walked out if our gut feeling told us to. The artists at Connected are mature and the staff are also professional. The artwork is good, clean, solid work. We didn't get anything complicated so I can't speak to the shop's originality or artistic complexity but the portfolios had some good innovative pieces. It's definitely not a tattoo factory and we were treated really well. They take appointments but took us as walkins. Pleasantly surprised that this caliber place was in Temple Bar but the vibe of the shop - clean, organized, decorated professionally- said a lot. Also was saw the piercer walk through & she had on a surgical mask, so I liked their commitment to hygiene. Our tattoo artist was Mark & Íosach handled the front desk, both guys were awesome. The artists have private rooms, always a bonus to not feel on display, and the shop has their own aftercare butter. Honestly they should sell that stuff internationally because I'd use it daily for everything, it's pretty great. Mark's technique was awesome, it barely hurt and it's been 5 hours since then and I have zero pain. I've had plenty of tattoos before but none that were virtually painless, no matter the anatomical area. I'd wager that this is the best or one of the top three shops in Dublin. read more

Went here with my boyfriend and we both got piercings done, I have to say I don't think I'll ever go anywhere else, this place is fantastic! The people are crazy friendly, they're not all stuck up and rude like they are in most places, the guy that pierced us was super super nice and he made us feel so comfortable and welcome! I'd recommend everyone that's looking to get piercings done to come here, it's super clean, professional and they really seem to know what they're doing. I've had bad experiences in previous places where I got a piercing or tattoos, but there really isn't anything not to like about this place, I'm definitely coming here for my next piercing no doubt about it! Not to mention they're not even as expensive as other places. 12/10 for sure read more

Be careful of your purchase here. Came in to buy 3 simple ear studs for my wife. The simplest kind & the smallest size, just to mantain patency of the hole. Charged 5 euros each. No receipt given. Thought a bit dear. A minute later, came back to return it. In the same package, unopen, unused. The girl refused to take it back as I walked out the shop. The excuse was no jewelry refund once sold and once a customer walked out. And she sold them to me less than 1 minute previously. She gave an example of selling underwear. I understand the policy, but if need to be pedantic about it, they didn't even have the proper price tag displayed for it, no receipt given upon purchase and this policy should be enforced to customer before purchase (like when you buy underwear) So, i was expecting some reciprocal trust to be given back to customer. Clearly i've been ripped off based on technicalities that benefited them. Granted, i accept my mistake. I hope you won't make the same. read more
