The man who sold me the sunglasses split a buy one get one 50% off even though I told him not to and added some of it to my purchase leaving me with somehow paying $175.42 for my sunglasses and only getting $101 back. Sammie at the hut was very unhelpful and clearly didn't want to return them whatsoever even though I have the receipt matching my card and the bank statement on my phone. We asked if there was a manager override to help us out with the return and Sammie stated that she was the standing manager position but somehow had no authority to make the return. She even went as far as trying to convince me to sell them on marketplace or even saying she can give in store credit only.

I'm still out $30 that she refused to help me get back. The associates from the Sunglass Hut at this location were MUCH nicer and have been working to help me get my remaining money back but it has been such a struggle. I have called customer care, the audit team, and so many other numbers in between. This experience has been the worst and no one is able to locate my refund check. Absolutely nothing has been done by corporate to remedy or help the situation. I have been getting no communication and have wasted so many hours trying to track down the check. I want my money refunded and something done about all this time wasted.

I was complaining about my old pair of Maui Jims and Sebastian explained to me how Maui Jim had improved their product line so that they were more secure and less breakable. He also explained about polarization and helped me find glasses where you could not see my eyes. They had a promotion going on for Maui Jims where they were giving away gift bags that included a water bottle, golf towel, golf tees, strings for your glasses, bottle opener, and a string bag. What a lucky coincidence! I had a birthday 20% off coupon that I had forgotten to bring but Sebastian was nice to apply it to my purchase. I remember back in the mid-90s when I spent $35 for a great pair of Bollé glasses from a Las Vegas Sunglass Hut. Ah, those were the days. They don't fill prescriptions here--this store is only for off-the-shelf sunglasses--and I didn't notice if they have reading glasses; I doubt it.
