The process testing for allergies was quite simple. My son did not care for it but everyone was very nice and careful.

I'm then told that it is a virtual visit. Wasted time . If I needed Virtual assistance I would have stayed home and done that from my couch. I had an issue that needed to be worked on not just talked about. I went to New Haven Yale Urgent care and saw an actual person who assessed my issue. If the two attendants would have done their job and said more than nothing , I could have explained and not wasted all our time. Perhapse that are trained to wait until you get to the room to tell you you have no actual visit but just a facetime doctor . Bad idea .

The worker from THE OFFICE who answered the phone is the one who changed my visit to a telehealth appt. Said it was absolutely fine bc I had been there before and it was just for a sinus infection. My appt time comes and goes, no call nothing. So I call. They rudely tell me that it can't be a telehealth visit even though the WORKER FROM THEIR OFFICE is the one who changed my appt. They put me on hold for kid you not 20 minutes. I have to call back multiple times just to get someone to answer to have the PA SHEREE RASCATI to have a huge attitude with me because her staff is incompetent. She argued with me and told me I can bring my sick child who's throwing up into the office if I want to be seen for myself. It has now been over a half hour past my appt. Time and I asked was anyone even going to call me if I didn't call and the answer was aparently not. Terrible. Called another urgent care right after and they have no problem with a telehealth visit for a sinus infection and got me an appt within 30 mins from when I called.

Six years ago I developed a red rash in the middle of my back. I'm an avid runner so I assumed it…read morewas attributed to friction caused by my sports bra. Over the next two years the rash would fade and then gradually come back. When the itching and burning finally got to a point I could no longer tolerate, I went to see a dermatologist. He gave me a very brief exam, told me that I was having an allergic reaction, and directed me to take Benadryl until I could rule out what was causing the breakout. (I should mention here, I despise taking any kind of medication.) Not wanting to endure the grogginess caused by an antihistamine for any length of time, I immediately eliminated anything and everything I thought had caused the rash. Laundry detergent. Dryer sheets. Body wash. Lotion. Shampoo. I even purchased all new cotton sports bras in fear I had an allergy to Spandex. NOTHING WORKED. In fact, the rash got worse! It spread to my chest and had gotten itchier than ever! I was completely devastated. I eventually convinced myself I was allergic to my own sweat and nothing could be done to cure me. The rash continued to get bigger, redder, and unrulier. I was suffering from the inside out. I was self-conscious and painfully uncomfortable all the time. On occasion, I would scratch my skin so hard that clear liquid would come out ... ewwww! This went on for YEARS. In early 2017 I had undergone PRK surgery on my eyes. The freedom of not having to wear contacts and glasses anymore made me feel like a billion bucks. It also got me back to thinking about that damn rash! I could only imagine how fabulous I'd feel if I could somehow get rid of it. As soon as my eyes were fully healed, I began researching local skin doctors. That's when I stumbled across Dr. Amy. With amazing patient reviews and a very professional and informative website, I felt really good about giving Dr. Amy a call. When she answered the phone and actually said she could see me that same day, I was completely blown away! A few hours later, I was sitting in her office. When I first met Dr. Amy, it felt like I was reconnecting with an old friend from college. Her kind, caring, and genuine nature made it so easy to talk to her. She spent almost a full 30 minutes asking me a variety of questions on diet, sleep patterns, exercise, health, etc. Then she looked at my rash. Within seconds, she told me she believed I had either a dairy or gluten allergy. I was ASTONISHED. In all the years of dealing with this hideous rash, not once did I ever tie it to food! Ok, so now I felt like I was getting somewhere! Dr. Amy put me on an elimination diet, which meant no dairy or gluten/wheat for a full month. She also gave me a supplement and some topical cream to use. I left the appointment feeling extremely positive. Dr. Amy must have sensed my excitement because she even gave me a hug good-bye! Ready to hear the best part of my story? My six-year-old rash cleared 100% within three days of seeing Dr. Amy. It was miraculous! Now I'm going on almost a solid two full months of being rash-free. I've gone back to see Dr. Amy twice for check-ups and she was just as excited as I was over the results. I whole-heartedly recommend Dr. Amy to anyone who is experiencing skin issues and is looking for a natural way to get phenomenal results. She is fantastic and just a wonderful human being all the way around!

I am extremely dissatisfied with this practice and would not recommend them to anyone…read more The reception staff are consistently rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. Every interaction I've had with them has been unpleasant, which is unacceptable for a medical office where patients are often already stressed. On top of that, I have received other patients' medical information in the mail due to what appears to be a mix-up with similar names. This is a serious privacy concern and a potential HIPAA violation. Recently, I was contacted for a follow-up after a hospital visit. During that call, the receptionist told me I was considered a "new patient" because I hadn't been seen in 3 years--despite being with this practice for over 20 years. The reality is that since COVID, they no longer treat common illnesses like colds or flu, forcing patients to go elsewhere. They scheduled me with a PA without clearly explaining this. When I called back to cancel and requested that my file be closed, I was told it was taken care of. Despite that, I later received an automated message stating I "missed" the appointment. When I called to resolve the issue, I was transferred to billing and met with more resistance. Instead of helping, they questioned me about who I spoke with and insisted the appointment was never canceled. The situation became so frustrating that I had to call multiple times--and even from a different number--just to get someone to address it. At one point, a staff member even hung up on me. This entire experience was stressful, disorganized, and completely unprofessional--especially concerning given the appointment was related to high blood pressure. I would strongly caution others before choosing this office.
