Many years ago, the oil tank in my parents' house leaked a significant amount of oil before the leak was discovered. Even after repairs were made, they never got that oil smell out of their house. If you are at all on the fence relative to having the tanks in your house replaced, my advice would be to do it and hire the folks from TankWorks! The money you spend now will be less than the money involved to remediate an oil leak as well as the likely decline in your house value caused by an oil odor that won't ever go away.

He had his own drop clothes, cleaned up when he was finished and was very reasonably priced. My chimney contains 4 flues and it cost me $119.00 plus inspection.
