If you are in need of a colonoscopy or an endoscopy then these guys have an assembly line practice that would make Henry Ford proud. You make the appt, show up for the procedure, wake up, then maybe - maybe - you will get 2-3 minutes with an actual doctor. You will never see nor hear from that doctor again. In fact, you will have to message the office to get someone to walk you through your test results, even though they have been available to you and the doctor for a week! Even then you won't talk to a doctor - a PA may call you back, or may send you an email Don't try and make an appointment. I called in January and the earliest I could get was end of June. And they just called to cancel that appointment! If you have something genuinely wrong and need to see a doctor, stay away from these guys. Just...no! read more

Waited 3 months for appt. They called 2.5 hours before the appt was set to begin to tell me the provider says he can't help me. So they had me waiting for 3 months...sick of course and counting down the days...only to call me 2.5 hours before the appt to say the provider just looked at your chart and he can't help you. How did he know what I was going to say? What chart? How can you do that to someone? Coincidentally my appt was on a Friday at 4:30 PM before a holiday. So I called and got my way back in and got him to do his job and get imaging which showed my gallbladder was infected and I had to have it out. Soooo he didn't think he could handle that? It was no surprise that after the appt he was already at his car before I was done checking out. Yeah so my appt being on a Friday at 4:30 had nooooo bearing on him canceling and saying he couldn't help. Wild. This place is horrible. Do yourself a favor and do what you can to find somewhere, anywhere else to go. The quality of care is a -1. read more

I have received nothing but top-notch, expert care from my GI doctor at CT GI. My doctor handles extraordinarily complex cases and he is proficient, excellent at what he does, and I am very happy with the care that I've received from him. A+++ I will admit that it sometimes takes time to get through, but every single message that I've sent to him (or staff) through the portal gets promptly answered. Staff have worked diligently with insurance companies to cover meds, etc. read more

I WISH I looked at Yelp before going here. What I believe goes on here is that the Doctors are tasked with selling colonoscopies as that is where they make their money. They likely get bonused on how many they perform. And then they just don't follow up AT ALL because there is little money in the follow up. This is a business, not a medical care facility. read more

Wonderful people-all the way from the front desk to anesthesia and MD. They were kind, empathetic and attentive to my needs. I had my EGD and colonoscopy done in Glastonbury with Dr.Koliani and she was amazing! Her bedside manner was fabulous and she explained everything simply to me. Anesthesia listened about my nausea feeling when having anesthesia and they were quick to give me nausea meds before even doing the procedure. I woke up from the exam and felt good. read more

It has been so difficult to set up an appointment. The office staff let's calls go to voice mail. Eventually they return your call. Calls go back & forth for days. Covid is not responsible for poor customer service. Doctors are great, if you can ever get appointment. read more

The only reason this office has one star is because of Maria Johnson who is amazing. However, patient beware every other experience I have had has been negligent at best. Several years ago, I was being tested for celiac disease with an upper G.I.. I was told to eat gluten for six weeks prior to the procedure. Just before I was about to go under anesthesia, Dr. Cipolla asked me how long I was consuming wheat and gluten before the test. I told her I did what the nurse told me to - eat gluten for exactly 6 weeks. She then explained that she should have told me 3 months and 6 weeks wasn't enough, I fell asleep and she went ahead and did the procedure knowing this. Not to mention it was an expensive procedure and her diagnosis was, "even though the biopsy came back showing no Celiac, please don't eat wheat and gluten because I would bet money in Vegas your celiac." So, now I don't qualify to receive the proper follow up for Celiac. Moving forward I saw Dr. Johnson and my experiences with her have been excellent. However, you cannot get to see Dr. Johnson readily so yesterday I saw her PA Kristin Del Fonzo. I left the appointment because she was completely unprofessional, very rude and basically told me I was wasting her time. She then proceeded to put notes in my chart about me personally that are untrue. I am awaiting a phone call from their CFO, Jeff Nusbut I highly doubt I will hear back from him. If you have your medical treatment there, be extremely particular about who you trust. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. My mother had an endoscopy scheduled on a Wednesday and called numerous times to ask when she should stop taking her blood thinners in preparation. She called a total of three times, left a message each time, and her call was returned the Monday before her procedure only to be told they require at least 4 to 5 days off the blood thinners in order to do the endoscopy. The fact that they returned her call a week later, two days before her procedure, and told her they need at least 4 or 5 days tells me they are incompetent, unprofessional, and useless. Laverne is no help and I'm fuming. Take your business somewhere else. read more

The office staff is so unprofessional and useless that I am now posting my first ever yelp review. It takes alot to frustrate me to this point but after months of dealing with this disconnected, uninformed office staff here I am. The surgeons are fantastic and diagnostics are good but unfortunately the care is compromised by inferior staff and scheduling. Too many numbers to call, too many people doing the job a few did in the past. This is where corporate healthcare is these days and I'm very dissatisfied... very little getting accomplished. read more
