I would like to sincerely thank Degnan Horne, and in particular David Degnan and Brandon Texido, my…read moreattorney, for their outstanding legal representation during one of the most difficult and complex periods of my life. My case involved a highly stressful and time-sensitive landlord-tenant dispute, including retaliation issues, procedural pressure, and significant personal and financial risk. My first point of contact with the firm was David Degnan, who spoke with me by phone on a Monday morning and agreed to meet with me in person later that same afternoon. With a court hearing scheduled later that same week, his willingness to make time in his schedule to listen carefully to my situation, provide thoughtful initial guidance, and accept my legal matter before assigning my case to Brandon was critical. I am deeply grateful for the diligence, respect, and steady guidance I received. Brandon's work made a meaningful difference in both the outcome of my case and my ability to endure an extremely challenging season with clarity and confidence. His judgment and foresight--particularly in establishing an early and constructive framework for resolution--were instrumental in bringing the matter to a fair and balanced conclusion. When an early procedural ruling created a significant challenge in the case, Brandon responded quickly and strategically, and his persistence ultimately helped strengthen our position and move the matter toward resolution. I genuinely felt that the final outcome reflected an appropriate allocation of risk and responsibility, and that I received a just result under the circumstances. Throughout the representation, Brandon was also consistently mindful of the financial impact of each step and worked to resolve the matter efficiently and responsibly. He helped me carefully weigh resolution options against the uncertainty and risk of litigation, and provided clear, practical guidance so I could make informed decisions at each stage of the case. Throughout the process, I experienced the firm as a true team. Everyone involved worked collaboratively and communicated effectively, creating a seamless and well-coordinated approach to my case--so much so that I consistently felt fully supported and prioritized. Degnan Horne proved to be a firm that is well organized, responsive, and highly competent. Communication was consistent and professional, and I never felt overlooked or dismissed. The firm's structure and internal coordination gave me confidence that my case was being handled thoroughly and responsibly. It gives me great confidence and genuine pleasure to recommend Degnan Horne, and both David Degnan and Brandon Texido, to anyone seeking skilled, ethical, and truly dependable legal representation. Sincerely, Theresa Mattox

They failed to show on court in LA Superior Court when they were told they had to show up in September 2017. This caused incalculable damages to my cause where the judge (Hodge) gave the opposing side almost everything they asked for because my attorneys were not even present! Unbelievable. 2. They then started to send my privileged confidential info to the opposing side (presumably to extort payment on some of their ridiculous bills). I told them to stop and they said they would but... 3. One year later, I find out that just a few months ago they continued to send my detailed invoices (with line-item strategy items) to the opposing side giving away my privileged info again to presumably extort payment. Even by the low standards of the legal profession, they do a disservice to their firm and to every one of their potential clients. The relevant lawyers are Jason Yu and Pat(rick) Byrne. I've asked Patrick for his Bar # in California and he's just ignoring my communications. He does not appear in the Bar database of California and I'm trying to get their info so as to inform the bar of this shameless abuse of ethics and what appears to be essentially legal malpractice, but he's refusing to send it to me. Please contact me if you're ever thinking of using these guys - you're better off hiring a one-person firm as that person is not likely to at least screw up your case and share your private information with others. Please if you've been similarly injured by them, contact me asap as I believe we may have a big case against them. Thanks.

My in-laws have one grandchild, my son. So now, if I need money for things like private school tuition, summer camp, etc for their only grandchild, I have to consult my mother-in-law who is in her late 80ties and lives in assisted living and my husband's brother who is middle aged, never married, no children and both MIL and BIL live in Phoenix while we live in Washington DC. Needless to say, this arrangement has done little for family harmony and created conflict which did not exist previously. Imagine having to consult your mother-in-law and brother-in-law who live 3000 miles away for things like school tuition... if you can even get them on the phone.
