I have been coming to this practice for a few years now, and each time I walk in they make me feel like I'm one of the family. I started out with the owner John Connerly, having been looking for another chiropractor since my go-to left town and for having developed a very painful condition in my lower back. John introduced me to a form of chiropractic technique that I was unfamiliar with. It was just what the doctor ordered (pun intended)! I started going regularly as my pain was becoming less regular. Then I "graduated" to Dr. Larry Widmer, whose gentle hands, effective technique, and sense of humor has now become my staple on an almost weekly basis. There is something quite wonderful when your trust levels change from "we'll see" to "thank you!" The staff, overseen by John Connerly's wife, Margaret, are absolutely fantastic...friendly, always smiling, and ready to help at any given moment. One never feels nervous nor intrusive at any time. The cost, too, is the most reasonable I have found in all of Santa Fe. At this point, I don't see any reason for changing doctors ever again. read more

After 2 years of serious mobility issues, I asked my primary to see a rheumatologist. She said "no!", it would be "overkill" (direct quote). After several visits, Dr. Connerly suggested I see a rheumatologist. I told him what my primary said. He said "so what!". So she can't find anything wrong with you - rule it out. So, I went. I went there a couple of years ago when I could barely walk and the new chiropractor 'Peake' had no intention of doing an adjustment, which is, of course, why I made the appointment; he did have me put on a table with a roller under it. No one came to check on me or help me off of the table when the timer ran out, and I could barely roll off and stand up. Never going back and do not recommend. read more

My hubby contacted this practice this morning little after 9sm as we were in town on vacation from Sam Antonio, Texas. From the time we called we had a great experience with the receptionist who asked us how close we were cause they could see him in 16 minutes. We hurried over and immediately were helped and got insurance situated and then taken to back. I don't recall the Dr who helped us but he was young, tall and blonde (I believe) and very good as my hubby had an upper pectoral rib out of place that was very painful. Yes, they insist on the ineffective cloth diapers and some staff wear two because the masks work so well. If that is following the science you may want to consider another place. The clients are all covid cultists as well and are scared out of their wits about getting covid. Very sad. The doctors are very good at their jobs though but I lack trust based on their ignoring mask science. IF masks work, IF the experimental shots work...why make others wear a mask? Again the staff and clients seem overly afraid of a disease where 99.99 survive just fine. IF you are ill wear a mask but forcing all to wear is pure nonsense. read more

This is the most reasonably priced and best quality service Chiropractor I've been to. After moving from Santa Fe to ABQ, I still make appointments here from time to time. Dr Connerly is gentle but effective, and has pre- & post therapies in house that enhance his treatments. Aside from being a great chiropractic and physical therapy place to go to, this business also features acupuncture and a really pleasant staff. All their massage therapists were pretty on top of their game when I go there and I almost felt like they were undercharging for their services. I wish I had one of their automated massage beds that they have too, I'd go to sleep much earlier, but at like $4,000 a table, it's more economic for me to just hop over to their office. It is a little bit hard to find the first time, so just look for the Hidden Chicken restaurant across the street and you'll be golden. read more

I would give Connerly 4 stars but for the price. First and foremost, Dr. Connerly was able to heal my injured shoulder and neck! Every couple of years, my shoulder goes out. I can't turn my neck to the left and I need to periodically lay down on the floor to relieve the pain. After two sessions with Dr. Connerly, which is what he predicted, I was almost 100% back to functioning fully with my shoulder and neck. He made three adjustments each time to my neck and back and then one of his assistants used massage and heat on my shoulder to reduce the inflammation. Connerly Chiroptractic is professional, the staff is very pleasant, and they do send in your health care forms. Unfortunately, they are quite expensive. My first visit cost about $275. While I am fortunate that my health insurance covered a little over 1/2 of the cost, this seems pricey given that I was at the office for about one hour. read more

I have been seeing Dr. Connerly for over 10 years. He has treated me and brought me back to health always within a visit or 2. Most recently I suffered a knee injury. I went through the usual process of x-ray, ultrasound and MRI from other physicians orders. Was told I needed knee replacement - period. After 5 months of pain and walking with a walking stick I finally thought to take my records to Dr. Connerly. He read my info, adjusted my knee and I could immediately walk without pain. Honestly it felt like a miracle, I've only gotten stronger since. The girls that have done my therapy have always been kind and gentle and now feel like friends. The striking image of this office is professionalism, Margaret, his office manager and wife is the epitome of a professional and a kind soul. Dr. Connerly, himself is awesome. However, the office manager, (his wife), and her minions are horrid. As a disabled vet, I have only experienced VA Healthcare. After becoming eligible for Medicare, I called Connerly's office. A jovial woman told me the cost of the initial exam would not be covered by medicare and would be $75. She said that adjustments after the initial $75 would be covered. The treatment was going great and I was beginning to feel better when leaving the office one day I was abruptly accosted about my bill. The demeanor in which I was addressed, the unexpected bill, and the loud HIPPA violation caught me off gaurd and triggered my combat related PTSD. I told them I didn't have the money on me and I was aggressively and loud enough for the entire waiting area to hear asked ,"Well, when will you?". My spouse was very disturbed to hear this because not only was I feeling better physically but I was also going to the appointments without my service dog which he viewed as a huge improvement socially. He is THE most charming, non-threatening, kindest man you could ever meet so he offered to go speak with the office manager. They treated him like he'd come in panhandling. One of the minions barked, "who are you?" Across the waiting area as he sat next to me. In yet another HIPPA violation, the office manager shouted across the room, "is this about the bill?" I've bought services from Connerly Chiropractic in the past, and have been satisfied overall. Today I called and was treated to some rude service over the phone. I was trying to get an appointment, and the lady said "have you been here before?" and I said yes, a couple of times in the past few years. Then she corrects me and says " It's been two years since you've seen the doctor" Then talks to someone else in the room under her breath. Then she says " You're gonna have to fill out all new paperwork" WHY???? My name, address, phone, everything is still the same. I don't have insurance, I pay cash for services rendered. I just need my back cracked. I know that the talent pool is very shallow in Santa Fe for actual "customer service". Most people don't care and fail to realize that it's the customer's money that pays their salary. Also in a doctor's office the people coming in aren't feeling well, so they could use a little care and concern, instead of being scolded for not seeing that doctor recently. read more
