All I can say is wow!! I had heard about this type of therapy a few years ago from a friend of mine…read moreand honestly didn't know what to expect. When I had heard that one opened up here in Santa Fe, I said to myself, it's time to check Vibro acoustic therapy out and see if my friend's claims were accurate. And wow, it did not disappoint- from the moment you walk in the door you get this lovely Zen feeling from the owner/therapist Linda, to the beautiful art hanging on the walls. The Vibro acoustic therapy experience was amazing. You lie on a suspended mattress in this covered tent/dome and the lights are then dimmed. Linda then turns on music for whatever your mood and turns on different sounds or frequencies that you actually feel massaging your entire body. After my session I felt so relaxed and actually think my hip and back aches are improving as I have now gone back several times. If you're looking for an alternative, natural healing experience, you should check it out. Absolutely love it!

I've always been a skeptic of Chiropractic care. Always wondered how "paying someone to pop your…read morebones" could be beneficial?... I also had been dealing with some aches, pains and numbness in my limbs, sluggishness and brain fogginess. I just thought that it came with getting older or that I needed a healthier lifestyle. Then a few years ago I started having some issues with my ears - getting blocked, itchy and sore. Fast forward to a couple of months ago; I got invited to a luncheon where a couple of doctors would give a short presentation on their new clinic. I thought "what the heck - free food"... yes, I love to eat, (no shame )! At the presentation they mentioned how much subluxation, (when your spine is out of whack), affects so many other parts of your body because of nerves being pinched, etc. From their short presentation, I also heard them mention that chiropractic can help with ear infections and numbness/tingling of the limbs... They were also offering a great deal to come and get an x-ray to see how my spine was and an initial alignment. I thought "what the heck, it's a decent price; if I'm ever going to try this, now is the time". ...and please understand that I was desperate to try anything to fix the issue with my ears! Today: I hate to sound like those witnesses that sound fake, but it's true: ‍ I now believe in chiropractic care because it helped me! My ears completely cleared up and I have zero problems. The numbness and tingling in my limbs is gone. My back and hips have been more limber and pain-free than before. I sleep better, mental clarity is better, even my digestive problems have been better; and as I continue to come in, I feel better! I tell all my family and friends about my turn-around so far, and decided to get onto the web and pass it on to whoever needs to hear it too! Drs. Carlos and Elena have been great with working with me and helping me to achieve better health, and I thank them and their wonderful clinic for that. Skeptic or not, come check it out - you'll feel the difference! Power's On!

I came to Dr. Brian because of his certification in the Activator Technique - I knew he wasn't going to miss anything. I had already gone twice to a Diversified Chiropractor, and was still crippled with sharp stabbing pain with just about any movements. It was hard to breath and I was nauseous from the pain. After the first visit with Dr. Brian, I was very sore, but after having to drive an hour and a half back home, I rested with ice all evening. That night I was able to roll over in bed without waking up constantly from the pain - I actually slept! The next day I was able to breathe better, and I had a 70% reduction of sharp stabbing pain. I could even start doing some stretching! I just had my second adjustment, and am hopeful for this continuing trend back to not having any pain or disability. Dr. Brian is a blessing to our profession - and to our community.

Dr Short told me I have one leg that is shorter than the other, prescribed a heel lift to correct the uneveness which was the underlying cause of my scoliosis, and gave me a series of treatments to bring my spine back into alignment. That has been over a year and a half ago and today is the first time I have been back with any back pain. Just a couple of adjustments and I am on my way again!! Dr, Short uses a non force adjustment method with a tool called an activator which applies a specific amount of force directly to the discs of the spine that taps them back into proper alignment. None of the twisting, cracking movements of the older style of adjustments. This is just right for me!! He has opened up my range of movement and removed my pain.

He isn't "knife happy" to recommend me to another Dr. who performs replacements, due to my age. He has the BEST bedside manner and loves to kid around with some of his patients. He did a great job on my scope surgery 8 months ago. I've had little to no pain in that knee, with the help of injections after the surgery. I would recommend (and have done so) Dr. Bair to any of my friends and others who are in need of an Orthopedic Dr.

I want to balance out the other review with a different perspective…read more While it's true that Dr. Bair's practice is VERY busy and he doesn't have a lot of time to chat, I found that the staff and Dr. Bair were polite, pleasant to interact with, and very professional given how constantly busy the practice is. He's a surgeon, and surgeons, as a rule, are much better at interacting with unconscious people than conscious ones. The unfortunate reality of medical care nowadays is that in a lot of ways you're on your own, which sucks, but it's the way it is. You must be in charge of your own care and do your own homework. Yes, I would love to have a 20 minute discussion of the nuances of my knee arthroscopy with Dr. Bair, but the fact that I can't isn't really his fault. I would recommend Dr. Bair and St. Vincent's, especially if you live in Taos and Holy Sh*t is your only other option.
