Dr. Josh is a miracle worker! I had been having lower back pain for months due to an injury. He was able to quickly identify the cause of my issue (sacroiliac joint) and after just the first session my pain dramatically improved. And now after just 3 sessions, it's a shadow of what it was before I went in. Beyond providing excellent care and treatment, Dr. Josh is really thorough in explaining his treatment and diagnosis process. I felt truly informed every step of the way. I was a a client with Blue Lotus in 2018 / 2019 when I had a traffic accident. they were great and will always be grateful for Josh and the work his team did. I want to be loyal to Josh and Blue Lotus with some new work that he would be perfect for. That is until I had to deal with Diane who works the front desk and books the appointments. I dealt with her twice. Once 2 months ago and again today. She is rude, combative and provides wrong information that she won't admit to making a mistake over. Basically she is just plain nasty and I have no idea why she is even doing ( not doing) her job. This is the first ever YELP review I have ever done. I find Diane to be so offensive and unprofessional that I felt compelled to express my displeasure with this review. Josh ... Diane the person working you front desk needs to be let go. read more

Dr. Josh took his time to evaluate any issues I had, consider my lifestyle habits and choices, and provide recommendations beyond just visiting his practice. He was very prepared with diagrams and visual examples of what could be the cause of my discomfort. Danielle is extremely knowledgeable about the handling the insurance and billing, and also very quick to find solutions to any problems I encountered regarding my coverage. I've been visiting Dr. Sindberg for several years and am extremely pleased with his care and the warm treatment from the office staff. As a belly dancer it's very important that my pelvis and overall skeleton is in alignment, and Dr. Sindberg does so in a thorough manner. Therapists are good, especially Audra (who is exceptional)...but beware of the incompetent office staff (Diane mainly--very rude and unprofessional )who told me that they were providers for my insurance but failed to properly credential one of their therapists so I ended up getting a huge out of network bill and as a result stopped going there, but am still receiving the bill even after them acknowledging it was their error and saying they would not charge me for it...seriously thinking of seeking legal counsel as I have excellent credit and I don't want this Idiocracy to negatively affect it.....quite the irony, a place that is supposed to de-stress their clientele is actually causing me much unnecessary stress over a year after ceasing my relationship with them. read more

Josh and Julie are amazing but with how unprofessional and rude the front staff is I had to quit receiving treatment there. It doesn't work well when you receive a treatment only to encounter aggressiveness from the front staff (Diane) on your way out. I have never encountered someone so ill mannered as Diane in a medical office. She will berate you in front of clients. It was completely unexpected and I'm still baffled by her behavior. "Dr. Josh" is a magician. I had severe neck pain for over a year - tried various treatments from school medicine to alternative in two different countries - thought I would never be able to turn my neck normally again. Then Dr. Josh was recommended to me and seriously, in just one chiropractic adjustment treatment the problem was gone. This is now two years ago so I can assert that it was a true fix. He takes his time, explains everything, and by now my entire family visits this practice when needed and all are very satisfied. I understand that it's tough to be at the front desk because people get annoyed when they learn that their insurance doesn't cover the treatment they need. I have not found any of the front desk staff to be rude, and while waiting for my appointments have heard them regret the fact that having to give people bad news regarding their insurance coverage makes the patients upset and sometimes angry. First I will mention that I have been extremely happy with Audra and her services and that she receives 5 stars from me! You are lucky if you are her client. This is a review in regards to Diane. I previously spoke with Audra in regards to my concern for a possible ectopic pregnancy at the time of my last massage. This was understood by Audra and I as not yet confirmed, as my obgyn did not even know. I had an ultrasound scheduled to confirm and was simply calling for her insight. I called her asking her for her opinion with the pain I was having that was more than likely, we both decided, was associated to round ligament pain and the recent MVA I was in. As far as I understood Audra and I were on the same page in regards to where I was at with my process of understanding what was going on and that I was asking her for her insight. She provided me with much comfort and thoughtfulness and I was at complete ease. Therefore I scheduled another appointment with no concerns whatsoever and trusted that I would have more information in regards to my pregnancy soon. Because Audra is in high demand and only works there a few days a week, the next appointment was 3wks later. Fast forward 3wks, my pregnancy had been confirmed and my baby is in the perfect position in my uterus and completely fine. An hour before my appointment Diane calls me. First she was just fine with apologizing for not calling me sooner and suggested that when I came in that I would need to sign a consent form. I had no problem with this and said that it would be fine. I then questioned if other pregnant women were being seen at their practice for massage services. It was then that she canceled my appointment and further said that I would need a doctors note to be seen again. I was confused and also wanting to stay calm, again I'm pregnant and stress is not good for baby, so I said ok and my appointment was canceled. As I continued to think about it, it greatly upset me that I would not be told first that I would need a doctors note right away and that it was only upon my questions that my appointment was canceled an hour before the scheduled time and with a therapist that schedules 3wks out because of high demand. So the next day I called back, today, and spoke with Diane. First I explained that I was completely disappointed in our conversation and that I was concerned because she canceled my appointment with such short notice, and that now I will have to wait possibly another 3wks to see Audra. Again, this would put me at 6wks without treatment for a MVA I was in pain from. She interrupted me about 6 times with even trying to say that. As I calmly asked her to stop interrupting me and explain to me why she would first ask that I come in to my appointment and sign consent and then escalate to canceling my appointment and then requesting a doctors note, she accused me of bullying her. Interrupting is the first sign of bullying. She was clearly projecting. I said, "Wow! Are you serious?! I already expressed to you that I have a doctors note and you should be calming my concerns with scheduling my next appointment along with apologizing for your clear lack of understanding in regards to the situation." She of course interrupted my another half a dozen times telling me that they "have the right to refuse service to anyone and that you should not come back to blue lotus." I said, "Excuse me, that's completely inappropriate and I will be speaking with your superior." It was then that she said that she would speak with Audra and get back to me. Threatening is also a sign of bullying and this was exactly what she was doing. She was aggressive and not at all what you would expect from a secretary at a massage therapist practice. I have yet to speak with her superior but most certainly will. If you go here, do your best not to speak with Diane. And please post a review if you do. They should know that their front desk service is what continues to keep their business alive and that she is not helping. This was clear pregnancy discrimination and blatant lying by Diane. Completely inappropriate and infuriating. I will also be seeking Audra's services if I must outside of Blue Lotus. read more

My family and I have been clients of Blue Lotus for about 6 years now. After an unfortunate incident where my uncle had a heart attack I forgot I had an appointment the following morning. When I spoke to the office staff-Diane- she was very inconsiderate of my current situation and circumstances. She spoke very aggressively and rude to me. I was appalled! In a better state of mind, I contacted their office to settle my bill. I was first speaking with Daniel when Diane took over the call. She was very rude and passive aggressive. After speaking with Josh he notified me that in my SIX years of visiting their practice I had missed SEVEN appointments. Which is about ONE PER YEAR which SHOULD be expected from any patient. I then received an email from Josh, clearly Diane misconveyed the actual situation to him bc I was made out to be the bad guy in all of this. When I arrived to make my payment I simply said "I am here to pay my no show fee, how much is it?" Then in a civilized manner, I placed the money on the desk and remained quiet the entire time. Overall, I have been very disappointed with the client care I have recently received from the office staff at Blue Lotus. They (Diane) had absolute no consideration for my situation. They (Diane) were extremely rude to me. Many of my friends and family are also clients there, we have always brought good business to their therapists. I am extremely appalled to see that they can cut off such a client due to a no show insident that was a medical emergency. They don't care about their clients, only their money. I am GLAD to no longer be a client of their passive aggressive tone, and I will not be sending them anymore business. read more
