She…read morefailed to follow up when so called urgent emails were sent and then came at the last minute demanding everyone to stop what they were doing and get it done. One call confirming email would have solved the issue. Email sent to wrong email addresses. The problem was my husband was going to cancer treatment. She demanded we stop and take care of business that should have been done days before. When I tried to explain that she can not demand us to drop everything and my husband had a prior appointment, she rattled on about the closing and when I hung up as I had to get him there, she accused me of being rude. When I told her my husband had cancer, she never bothered to say sorry, she is rude and full of excuses. Oh and when asked if the closing happened, she said I don't know. So, we paid her how much to "not know". Unacceptable all the way around. If you want a train wreck, hire Julie. I will support this post for anyone that asks for support or take it down when Julie sincerely apologizes, which she should have done before.

While the field appraisal that caused issues in our closing was out of Shelbi's control, how she handled the situation after, was. We, her customer, didn't even know a field appraisal had been done nor that it had caused an issue with our closing until right before 5:00 p.m. ON CLOSING DAY - even though she had known of the trouble a couple of hours prior.  While she did try and get a hold of our realtor OVER an hour after having the information and was unable to reach him - We should have been called next and were not. Actually, we should have been called as soon as she was aware that there was a problem - before trying to find a solution. After all, we were her clients, not our realtor. We defaulted on our contract because she waited until 5:00 p.m. to let us know. We may have defaulted anyway, but her lack of communication robbed us of the chance to work something out with the sellers prior to defaulting. We ended up losing the house and our earnest money! Her true character showed during the most stressful time. We had to scramble to find another home.  She did offer to file a formal complaint to try and get our appraisal fee back. But here we sit nearly 4 months later and have not heard a peep from her....despite sending a follow-up email to her on Nov 5th ( 11 days ago) asking what the results of the investigation was. It's easy to be perceived as great when all things are going well, but it's who you are and what you do when the situation goes awry that really matters. She lacks professionalism and I couldn't recommend her to my worst enemy.
