I actually bought a lovely faux leather jacket that looks just like a Chanel . Connie and her staff are very particular about what they take. I've learned what that is and for the last half a dozen times or so she takes everything I've brought to her, which is never more than 10 items. I've recommended her many people. read more

This store was intriguing. It used to be located across the street -- that is in the shopping center with the Publix on the east side of 441 -- but has now relocated to the west side of 441. It's just south of Subway not far from Hurricane Wings. Because this strip end is not that busy, there was plenty of parking right outside. Inside, the store has a ton of clothing, shoes, jewelry, purses, and other accessories. I really liked some of the items they carried. Lots of pretty clothes that I would like to have -- albeit not all in my size. And if you're looking for an evening dress for a special occasion, they have these as well. Designer and high ticket items abound, but there's a variety of pricing. Right now they were running a sale. Most items were half off. I'd like to return to browse when I have more time. And maybe even bring some clothing here to consign. read more

I regret ever "consigning" all of my designer clothes -- gorgeous (brand new!) handbags, couture clothing, designer costume jewelry and elegant shoes to this place. I thought it was strange that I received a torn bit of paper as a "receipt" for my clothes, etc., reading only "One bag, one long sleeve top, two jeans, etc.". I was too trusting. At first, I was thrilled at first that other women would be able to buy my current, but no-longer-used luxury items at a discount and enjoy them as I did, and I'd recoup some money in return. But to my surprise and dismay, each time I'd visit the store, my items were no longer on hangers and shelves --- but I was not receiving any money. "Oh, we had a sale and reduced the price of your items." Or "That item sold long ago and I'm sure we paid you." After 18 months, and at least 80 designer pieces basically given away, I ended up with a total of "$189.63." I feel foolish and duped. Take the time and effort and use The RealReal, Poshmark (very simple to sell items) or even eBay. Don't end up feeling stupid and disappointed like I did. read more

I stopped in as a shopper (mostly window shopper) not as a consignor. I thought she had a great selection of gently used or new with tags still on items. There really is something for anyone who is looking to bargain shop for high end designer merchandise at a more than half off price tag. The shop is not very big, yet Connie manages to cram in as much as she can display. She seems to know where most everything is, even under tables and in her back storage area. Connie is an older woman who has been around the fashion world and her knowledge of what she carries seems to be good for the second hand consumer. Handbags from many designers and shoes seem to be quite abundant as well as jewelry and clothing. There were some antique trinkets and dishware which was gathered in sets and the artwork was all quite interesting. Though I was really just window shopping, I would definitely return if I were looking for an evening gown or if I chose to be a consignor. read more

Late on my review but I'll add to the pile. I was sold a FAKE dolce and gabbana set (top and shorts). Not until I got home did I realize she had intentionally taken a permanent black marker and scribbled out an "s" at the end of "dolce & gabbana" clearly indicating it was a fake! The original tag before sharpied out said "Dolce&Gabbanas". I took it back immediately and she blamed it on the woman who consigned it to her! So irresponsible and unprofessional. Worst service I've ever gotten. I've come here so many times and Connie is the sweetest. I came in and dealt with Denise today and she was so rude to me. Didn't even look at my clothes and told me sharply, straight off the bat that they have to be designer and clean and not wrinkled, on a hanger, before I could even get out a Hello. I couldn't believe the lack of customer service and indecency to someone who just walked in the door. Reading through the comments and critiques (on Next Door and Yelp) of local consignment shops in the Wellington/Lake Worth area, my wife and I decided to check out Connie's Collection in Lake Worth. We went. We saw. She shopped. Yes, I understand the shop may be crowded at times, but I consider that a testament to the shop's wide selection of high-end designer clothing, and word of mouth popularity among the discerning, fashion conscious clientele. During my visits, we were reminded of the old Loehmann's where one could shop for hours and get incredible deals on elegant, haute couture pieces. It takes time and patience. Connie's has a wide selection of current season fashions, with new (or like-new) items - either way, in excellent condition, purchased from stores such as Intermix, Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue. I do not know of any other consignment store anywhere else that offers quality designer clothes like this at such fair prices. I spent about two hours in Connie's during my recent visit. For the surprisingly low total amount of $450 - a fraction of the prices I'd pay at a department store or clothing boutique - I was able to purchase a Rag & Bone satin shirt; a gorgeous Frame blouse; a Ted Baker jumpsuit; and a Gucci belt. I will likely go back to purchase - at a bargain price - a pair of Tory Burch shoes that I had eyed during my visit. We noticed that consignors were bringing in to Connie's high-priced brand merchandise from Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Bottega Veneta, Vera Wang, and other coveted designers. (Wow!!) From my personal experience, the woman who owns the store could not have been nicer, more professional, or more accommodating. A true professional in fashion and business. Connie's asking prices are extremely reasonable. It goes without saying that if you are aiming to purchase items, and looking for a garage sale type of price, you should not expect to engage in the kind of time-consuming "negotiations" to try to knock off a few bucks, as if you were haggling over knock-offs at a flea market. Personally, as a shopper for designer wear, I consider such conduct distasteful and frustrating. Besides, in order to abide by the consignment agreements, the items entrusted to Connie's are not really hers to "discount." Contrarily, If you're on the selling end, and looking to consign your castoff Marshall's or Beall's Outlet "end-of-season" deals that you found on the Clearance rack, and she rejects your items, don't blame her for not accepting them. The owner of this store recently moved locations from the Woods Walk plaza to the Walmart Neighborhood/Strathmore plaza across the street. She is rude and just an unpleasant person who is extremely unethical. Because of the move, she supposedly "donated" new items that had been brought in for sale. I had asked her to get in touch in case the items did not sell as I had a charity I wished to donate them to and she advised me that unless it's Gucci, LV or a top designer, she does not call for you to retrieve your items. I wonder where Coach and Michael Kors fall on her list? Out of 12 pairs of shoes (6 brand new in the box), she told me that I had $5 that I could come in and shop with as she does not issue checks under $20. Karma when it comes back around......STAY AWAY from this place! read more

This woman stole over $200 from me. My purchase came out to a total of $28 and I had $235 taken from my account... I called and she claimed that price tags matched the total about she made for the day.. this was wrong. She made a mistake and did not offer me anything. I wouldn't recommend coming here for either shopping or bringing your things in. If you choose to come here ... make sure to check the receipt immediately after it's printed to make sure it's the right amount and PAY IN CASH so she doesn't rob you. read more

My rating for Connies Consignment is a -10. I consigned items with her in 2016. I was never given a list of items that were left only a number of items hand written on a 4 x 4 piece of paper. After some time I was told that I had sold $19.40 and that the system did not allow her to give me a check until it reached $20. I still had 4 items in her store. So I waited months thinking something would sell. Feb. 26, 2018 I called again explaining we were moving away from the area and would she please consider writing the check. She refused saying the system would not allow her to. But I could come in and spend the money in her store to buy something. She is the owner,she should have made the exception and made me happy. This is such bad business and unethical. I have consigned at other stores and have never had this issue. They have all said they would have made the customer happy especially for $.60! This is no linger about the money, it is about bad business. read more

Connie is not to be trusted. She will sell the items you consign to her and most of the time you will not receive any money when the items are sold. She always has an excuse. Look elsewhere or make a donation to a homeless shelter. Your items will be appreciated and you will feel good having helped someone. I couldn't be happier with my purchases at Connie's! The first day I wondered in I scored a beautiful pair of MK heels - classic black stiletto. My friend got a little black dress in a size 2 to die for. I went back a few days later w my boyfriend I am now the proud owner of a full length mink designed by Dimitrios .. Read their contract before you sign. They have had my items for 2 months now and sold nothing. They will not return your items, items that belong to you, even if they haven't sold them. I read some of the other reviews and WOW, harsh. I did not have that experience and have only scored some great deals there. However, I do not bring my clothes to consign so perhaps there are some shenanigans going on in regards to that. After reading the reviews, I won't for sure bring my clothes there to consign, however I will continue to shop there now and then as she carries some really nice items. read more

Connie's Collection has been around for a long time and I have been going there for years. I usually buy, but my daughter, that is in college, had some things she wanted to sell. I took them in to Connie and she said to check back after a certain day. I did, and there was a check there for my daughter. I have found some of my best buys there. My Dooney and Burke purse has gotten me many compliments:) If it weren't for places like this, you wouldn't have a chance to re-purpose a really nice item for someone else to enjoy. "Connie" is stuck-up old woman and everyone knows it. Growing up in the area, we'd always joke about how nobody ever shopped there, but now I know why: everyone there is a stuck-up pretentious face pulled tight enough to smile and nothing more. Their entire store is currently on a 50% off sale (wonder why?), and you can actually walk through the store and hear the employees, including the owner, run their mouths about you. It's actually quite an experience. There's a reason there are two reviews here besides mine: nobody who shops here uses the internet and understands they can be shopping somewhere else without being treated badly. Especially seeing as there's a new shop that opened right down the street by Trader Joe's and isn't next to a Chinese takeout, you've really got no reason to come here. read more

Over a year ago I brought in Coach and Prima Classe purses and another small painted designer purse that I never saw displayed in store and was told they were "somewhere" ! Visited the store several times and spoke to the owner who proceeded to tell me they would stay indefinitely as she would never donate to charity as charity would have no purpose receiving designer handbags!! . wow i cannot believe what i am reading, obviously a classless competitor that cannot afford to advertise has stooped so low as to make false statements about a long term successful business owner in the same community.please notice that in both negative reviews alternate consignment shops are mentioned thus providing cost free advertising at the expense of a hard working wonderful woman. connie is far from an "old stuck up woman" let me paint for you a true picture of connie and the way she runs connie's consignments. when you enter the store you are greeted in a friendly manner by one of the three staff members that are like family to their customers. the merchandise is not "all 50% off" but from time to time connie does run great sales in which you can find wonderful blouses and sweaters at fantastic prices. it is ridiculous to even read that merchandise is not returned, really now do you think that people really believe that a successful business owner with decades long history in this industry has to keep anyone's clothing items. connie has been so successful not because she is unfair or dishonest but because she along with her fantastic staff know how to run a business and offer superior customer service along with great quality merchandise for the buyers money. i have been a consignor at connie's for years and without exception and to the "t" i have always been paid with a computer generated professional printout. i have never once had any merchandise lost, or purposely kept by any staff member and connie has always gone out of her way to assure that both consignors and buyers alike are equally satisfied. to address the portion of the matthew b review connie always has customers in her store location but certainly not of low class such as yourself or your com padre bonnie k. consumers that are reading this review please evaluate closely both the matthew b and bonnie k comments and you can clearly see the statements that are made from these ignorant fools in our community do not hold merit but are merely a poor attempt to promote business in other shops at the cost of hurting another. try connie's for yourselves and i am certain you will very much enjoy the experience equally as much as the friendly professional staff that works along side this dedicated, hard working classy woman. read more

I have been a patron of Connie's for many years and built a beautiful collection of designer clothing -- everything from Escada, Dior, Chico's, Kors, Chanel to St. Johns Knits. Connie is very discerning about what she takes in - everything has to be in excellent condition and dry cleaned. As a hard working girl, I could never afford these high end clothes if it weren't for Connie's. But when I go to a family occasion or a big party, I always look like a million bucks. You can go to other consignment stores but you won't find the quality that this stores offers. The sizes run the range from 2 all the way up to 20. Her business is successful for a very good reason--she offers beautiful clothes, handbags and accessories at prices you can't get anywhere else. I have introduced many of my friends to her and they, too, have become loyal customers. It's the place where women with champagne tastes but beer budgets all go!!! read more
