I ordered what was to me an expensive reel for a fishing trip I have booked. For some reason they returned the reel to the sender and I never received it. I have been trying to get ahold of someone to figure out what happened for 3 days and no one has responded. Steve the owner of Tuppins listed a 200 HP Yamaha SHO with a manufacture year of 2021. They made me think it would be cheap to install them charged me 8,000.00 ! I complained . He reduced the price to 5,000.00 then stopped all work o the boat. I picked it up with screws, dirt, oil, old parts all left in the boat. Oil spills grease stains. Wires were cut and all my switches were not working and my trolling motor wires are missing ! Tulpins said they went through the entire engine and charged the oil and filters ect... when I opened the cowling after a month of using it the oil filter has a date of 1/13/2023 !!! Hasn't been changed in 2 years! It gets worse. I asked repeatedly to send me the warrantee info. They never would because THE ENGINE IS A 2015 NOT a 2021 like they sold it as ! i bought this engine about 4 months ago and Tuppins has ignored me! The boats electrical system is a mess and I just had the entire boat rewired. It was working perfectly ! Tuppins has gone down hill since these irresponsible deceitful business practices. Its horrible to take advantage and lie to your customers! I have plenty of pictures and will file a lawsuit. Also as a Yamaha dealer we expect honesty and professionalism. My boat is a mess ! They purposely left the year of the engine off the sales receit but checked that there is a factory warranty still in effect so I would BELEIVE it ! TUPPINS HAS GONE ROUGE AND THEIR DECEPTIVE BUSINESS PRACTICES HAVE HURT HOW MANY UNAWARE CUSTOMERS ?? i Put a bad review on google and somehow they were able to take my bad review and rewrite it as a good review !!! I searched for new and used boats all along Florida, and ended up buying a brand new Jupiter 20 with twin Yamaha motors less than 5 miles from my house. I always thought they sold smaller boats, but they do large boats as well. Chris and Steve were incredible in the sales and follow up process. They were flexible in negotiations and to the point. They allowed extended test drives, spent hours launching the boat and teaching me, stood behind a weird paint issue with the lower unit (yamaha issue, not them), and stored it and delivered it when I was traveling after my lift broke. The Jupiter is a wonderful boat, but it helps when you get absolutely top level services and follow up. I consider these guys my friends and will continue to be supporters of them. I finally had a reason to step into this iconic Lake Worth store! You can't miss it, on the corner of 10th Avenue North and Dixie Highway. It has a fish statue on top of the building, murals of fisherman fishing along the sides of the building, and boats in front stored along Dixie. I wandered around the store aimlessly, hoping to find fish nets for children. This store is the largest bait and tackle store I've been in, with a counter at the front and back of the store. The rows are pretty narrow. Fish nets: They didn't carry the sturdy wooden handled ones I was looking for, but they they did have a variety of other types and sizes. The ones with metallic handles were nice but too pricey for a child's use, I felt. They had a few different kinds with plastic handles, some sturdier than others. I chatted with the nice person who checked me out at the front counter. I told him that my son was dying to go fishing, so I would probably be back eventually to look at fishing poles. He recommended purchasing a real one rather than a 'kiddie' one, which I thought was interesting. I love supporting local businesses. So glad I could find what I wanted quickly without resorting to going to a big box store. As soon as I looked up fishing stores on Yelp and Tuppens came up, I was so thrilled to know exactly where to go (this rarely ever happens!!!)! read more

To begin my rant about how much I love this place Daniel the sales man over at the department on Dixie is always responsive to questions even two years after owning my boat. He gives me advice and genuinely cares about his customers which is very hard to find nowadays. Now as far as service goes Liz in the service department is by far superior in her position. As soon as the part comes in she's calling me immediately and extremely transparent with the price. Always shopping for the best deals and genuinely treats you like a human being.
