She was able to make the repairs while I waited, and her sewing skills are top notch, plus I was happy with the good price I paid. It looks brand new again. I brought in a floor-length bridesmaid dress be hemmed tea length. I had my shoes and everything, but I had received the dress late so we only had two weeks before the wedding. The tailor said it was no problem and went on fitting and pinning. A week later, it was done -- yay! It wasn't until all the bridesmaids put on their dresses that I realized that mine was at my ankles whilst theirs were all mid-calf. Not a huge disaster, just disappointing. Overall, I would continue to bring suit items (pants, jackets, etc.) but would look elsewhere for evening wear alterations.

My first fitting wasn't until the week of my wedding even though I gave Bana my dress two months prior. The dress felt tight but Bana and her mother reassured me it was how the dress was supposed to fit. When I got home, I noticed that my back was red and blotchy from the dress digging in to me despite only having it on for a short period of time. When I raised my concerns to Bana she was extremely defensive and combative. She also said she was booked for the rest of the week and had no time to fix it. I had already paid her (my final bill was $228 more than the original quote) and I felt completely helpless. I ended up contacting another tailor who was able to fix my dress...two days before my wedding. He was a lifesaver and I wish I had gone to him from the beginning (he's retired now otherwise I would include his information). It was so stressful working with Bana (and this review doesn't even include when she lost the wrap to my dress). This is not the experience you want to have the week of your wedding.
