Clean, friendly, local laundromat! We dont need to utilize them much but every once in awhile we need to wash our bath rugs and large comforters. The girl working was really helpful and friendly, I wish we would have got her name. She showed us how to use the large machines and advised which to use to handle our large items efficiently! Went in for two hem repairs on two shirts. The one shirts hem was completely out in the front and had to be hemmed and connected to the back hem. A total disaster. Hem is crooked, not straight at all. Second shirt was the same. Original hem was doubled. Repair hem was single and not straight at all. Very disappointed with the service. First time coming here since I'm a local now. Was recommended by a co worker. Had a pair of dress pants and wool jacket dry cleaned, both brand new items only wore once. Came back worse looking before I took them in. I'm highly disappointed. I have to now lent out my wool jacket and I have 8 small pin holes in my slacks near the back pockets, very sad and upsetting because the front desk lady was so super nice and it was a clean facility. read more

Brought my brand new $300 jacket in for a tiny spot I got on it. It was there for 3 days, had a family member go pick it up. They told her the stain was out & it was $20. She brings it to me and guess what the stain is tripled in size, the inside of the sleeve is messed up AND the sleeve cuffs are all frayed. When I called to complain the lady who answered stayed completely silent for 40 seconds once I told her and finally replied with "uhhh I really don't know what to say" "I'll have my manager call you back in an hour". 3 hours later no call so I call 5 times over the next couple hours, call was ignored. read more

I've been here a few times now, among other local laundromats, and this is the one I keep coming back to. The staff is always friendly and attentive, the place itself is clean, with large capacity, sturdy washers and dryers, and has a cute little sitting area with coffee for you to wait/hang out in. The prices are definitely fair for how much laundry your can get, and are encouraged to get, into one machine! It's also quick, a massive laundry haul is 30 minutes to wash, and dried in around 50 minutes. Until I purchase a washer & dryer for myself, this is where I'll be doing my laundry! read more

My dryer broke and it was either the laundromat or new clothes!! What an nice little place! Super clean...friendly. Cute decorations. Some coffee was available. Great service! Dropped my peat coat off and it was done in two days. They tightened the buttons and made sure it looked very clean. Looked new! The interior is super cute too with older washing machines for decoration and cute little laundry-themed decorations. Staff was helpful and complimented my makeup which made my day! Nowhere, not even on their store front does it say they close at 7pm on Saturdays. I drove around to get my quarters and lugged two large baskets into the store at 6:10pm. "Sorry- we close at 7pm. New hours" Again- this isn't posted anywhere and their store front still says they're open til 9pm. Major inconvenience. I'm not quite sure how many loads of laundry i did but let's just say i had 4 GIANT trash bags full. Washing drying and folding all this laundry made me the best girlfriend in the universe hands down!! My BF lives in a not so great neighborhood and the laundry mat by his house was dirtier than the laundry I had. I have drove by The Laundry Room near a million times since I live around the corner so i drove home grabbed my detergent some change and headed over to "the room" to wash 3 years worth of dirty clothes and towels!!(my bf was a very neglected bachelor) ahahaha! Any who the fella working there so young and nice loaded me up with quarters and i proceeded to fill all of their LARGE machines with clothes and towels. I poured in that detergent like it was my mission in life ahahaha! 3 hours later 4 random conversations with strangers about things like cat allergies and unknown stains everything was washed, dried and folded and ready to head home. What a pleasant experience. It's so clean and the machines all run perfectly. They have a great little sitting area and FREE coffee!! If you live in the 12 and Harper area check this place out of you have a laundry emergency!! I will use this laundry mat for all my big laundry needs!! They also have laundry service drop off and they will do it for you. They do repairs and things like that as well. Check this place out you will be happy you did!! read more

I don't normally use a laundromat, so I am always leery. But this place was clean, well lit, and even had cute decor. Friendly attendant and patrons. Machines are older but well maintained. Came in to do a load. It is bright and clean though it smells a bit gassy. Plenty of machines. $1.75 for a regular load. $0.99 per pound to have them do it for you. What can I say more than my clothes are clean? read more

I can't say enough about this place. I have bounced from cleaners to cleaners. My husband has very nice professional designer clothing and I would constantly get them returned damaged from numerous Eastside cleaners. The owner, Krystal, cares. That's the difference. They hand iron all shirt laundry. You will not find that kind of service anywhere else. They also have great dry cleaning service as well as alterations. The staff is friendly and professional and always asking me if I'm happy with their service. I wouldn't trust our clothing with any place else. Best cleaners on the east side! read more

The Laundry Room Center is, without a doubt, the most helpful and most enjoyable laundromat experience in the Greater Metro Detroit area. Thanks to their abundance of clean and well-working machines, even when the Laundry Room is busy, there's always a machine for you to wash and dry your clothes and get out in under an hour. The prices are definitely reasonable compared to competitors in the area, and the familiar atmosphere created by Krystal is beyond compare. If I could give less than one star I would. I took a King Pottery Barn quilt in to be washed according to the label instructions and it is ruined. It should have been washed on cold and dried on low. I even reviewed this with her. The spread shrunk inconsistently and it has deep deep heat wrinkles that wouldn't hang out or iron out. Absolutely ruined. My daughter has this same spread so I am absolutely certain it can be safely washed if the instructions are followed. They just ruined it. read more

When our washing machine was in need of repair I went here and was able to get all of our weekly washing done for a family of five in about 35 minutes and took it home to dry in my dryer. Spent about $10. For a week's worth of laundry. Staff friendly and helpful. The place is clean and not super busy so you are able to use the oversized machines even on a weekend, they sell laundry soap if you forget to bring yours from home. I hope I don't need to use them again, but if I needed a laundry mat service again I highly recommend them. read more

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!! This place is so unorganized. My shirts have been lost. They tried to give me the wrong shirts. My slip was put on other shirts, that were much cheaper. Good thing I caught this or who knows who would have had my shirts. My dry cleaning is never ready when told, somedays I have had to make several trips. THE OWNER DOES NOT CARE!!!
