I made the BIG mistake of shopping at Conn's store #244 10780 N Mall Baton Rouge, LA. My daughter moved into newly constructed home. Refrigerator delivered and they took her front door off, damaged the weather sealing, dented the refrigerator in 2 places, and put a hole in the wall. Today I called the N Mall/Siegan store to get update on my delivery, the salesman told me to "just wait" and when I asked his name he cursed me and hung up on me. I will be cancelling my order. No more shopping at Conn's. They need better customer service training. Correct name for a company....Con. I will never shop there again. I should have learned from my daughters experience. I must say Raychelle and Dwight are two of the best customer service agents I've experienced in a very long time!! Buying and financing furniture can be overwhelming. But they made my experience seamless! As a home chat expert in the world of beauty, I constantly strive for exceptional service. Not sure where the negative experiences are coming from, but I definitely give these two SUPER BEINGS 100/100. That's right 100 out of 100 stars. Wish I could do that in the actual rating. But it's basically line 5 stars * 20! Do you know why? Because from the pre approval process at 2 AM it was a cake walk. Raychelle called me at like 7 in the AM I think. She went ABOVE & BEYOND. She and Dwight used synergy to display teamwork. Using their expertise to ensure I saw all available mattress n bedding options, in addition to Raychelle thoroughly explaining my financing terms. I FELT my business was WANTED, but never felt pressured into just a sell. They both helped me to realize what I needed when I didn't even know, by their own product experience. I actually selected the mattress Dwight said he has and being an insomniac, my SLEEP TIME HAS DOUBLED. NOW that's BEYOND SERVICE, like worthy of an infinity gold star or something. I purchased a bedroom set in 2022 did the no interest 12 month paid it off in 2023 even called to make sure it was paid off now 2024 check my credit it says I owe 1300 called conns they tried say I owe a balance what a load of crap will never buy from them again oh I forgot they said they would fix it check credit in March said account closed check back in July now account back open wtf read more

Came home and the washer had gone out, clothes piled up, kids crying, wife not happy. Went to Conn's and was greeted by Trevor at the door. He's a friendly guy and was no pressure the whole way, really made us feel at home. We picked out one of the new high efficiency front loaders the wife always wanted. Trevor made the whole buying experience transparent and clear, we got financed quickly and he helped finishing up the details. Even better, they delivered our new machine the next day and hauled away the broken one!! Couldn't have had a better experience - kudos to Conn's! read more

Wow. What a disappointing experience. Walked in on Tuesday 3/9, 3:00 PM to a deserted store; a young man greeted me promptly carrying with the typical cadre of stuff that furniture store employees carry around. A lady at the kiosk in the middle of the 25,000 sq ft store was the only other employee. No customers in sight. Looking at a washer that my wife had researched online I asked the young man a few leading questions that he has difficulty answering. I asked if there were any offers for this particular washer, and he politely answered no. We had seen an ad of the many that I receive electronically or hard mail offering this washer at approximately 80.00 less than the price at the store. Young man said, no offers at the time but they will match a price to a competitor's printed flier. Fair enough. I asked for a measuring tape to make sure it'd fit on our washing room. (No paperwork in the machine). The young man looked and looked for one, the lady at the kiosk looked for about a half a second and gave up. The young man looked and looked and looked. While he looked, I found the same washer at Best Buy, 80.00 cheaper with free delivery, install and hauling off the old one. In Best Buy website, I was able to choose the washer, apply for special financing and purchase the washer while the young man walked the entire store looking for that measuring tape until he landed at the customer service kiosk where he stopped, started talking to the lady and hoped for me to walk out, which I did. No wonder the massive show room was deserted. Btw two cars, including mine in the enormous parking lot. I wish they'd stop wasting money in advertising and use it to better train and equip workers to better serve customers. Let the desert be deserted. Good luck paying the note for that massive facility. read more

Conns is a conn this is a follow up they did handle things as promise I still had to pay for a broke tv I did not crack now I'm having issues with previous tv and they're giving me the run around. The insurance ain't worth shit but you still have to pay it. This place is the biggest scam and I will never go back and will not recommend. They mention one thing and something different happens. I had to take off an extra day of work for a delivery mess up on their end. I would not recommend anyone buy from this company or come here. Please stick with Home Furniture or Ashley Furniture, even Rooms to Go has better service. read more

Walked into Conn's needing a refrigerator, I was greeted at the door and within in 3 mins had a fridge picked out. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. And they were not kidding with next day delivery. I had my applicant the next day by 10am. Quick, helpful and extremely friendly. The delivery guys even took 3 seconds to say hi to my dog! Look past the other reviews and check this place out for yourself! read more

Absolutely will never recommend. I paid $2k for a dining table set. It was delivered and 2 chairs are wobbly and 1 chair is scratched with a huge gouged. My 19 year old didn't inspect it with a fine tooth comb. I called not even 1 hour after delivery and these people said sorry not sorry but once it's delivered and accepted it's on you. Never ever again going to no BS place like this again. Lesson learned. read more

Walk in looking for a couch, see a chair with an ottoman with a clearance marked a little under 500. We decided it's an amazing price so tell the lady we want it she grabs the sign and was like this isn't right. Walks off and comes back using the excuse that "customers move tags around all the time". Then leave again and comes back with "we don't even have this in store". Didn't give any alternative options or anything just price is as is. Maybe if they spent more time learning inventory and making sure signs are right instead of talking they'd have more than 4 cars in the parking lot. Never coming back. read more

After agreeing to purchase a refrigerator I was then told of a delivery fee. I paid the fee and was provided a form which states: "services specific by product" for "Refrigerators, Remove and haul away old unit (1 for1). Well the delivery people dispute the CONN'S Form and said there is ANOTHER fee and the fact the CONN'S form provides otherwise, they did not haul away the refrigerator being replaced. BE WARNED. DO NOT SHOP OR WORK HERE . HORRIBLE . UNPROFESSIONAL. This about me trying to earn a job here ! Horrible experience . The manager Temple told me to come for an interview one Thursday at 3.30 . I drove 45 minutes to get there and he reschedules . I get there for the rescheduled interview and they forgot . Ok . The position Im being interviewed for is filled . Ok cool ! Brian says there is another opportunity available there so I accept . He says ok great you should be expecting an email by the end of the week to move forward with the hiring process . I call 4 days later to see why I haven't received the email . I am getting the run around . "Call back later ,gone for the day , we will send it , it was the wrong email we sent it to ." Etc . So after many different failed tries with calling , I decided to just show my face . I waited patiently and spoke with him and he acted as though he did send the email and I would receive information on it before 5 pm .that day . Didn't happen of course . While I am speaking with the manager Temple , an employee named Semaj walked up and acted as though he was unhappy to see me but ended up walking up to give me a hug . That was just all apart of his rouse . I know him as the boyfriend of one of my high school friend's older sister . I lived with my friend's family when I was like 17/18 . Semaj walked off and whispered things to Temple and the whole vibe was very uncomfortable . Temple told me to wait and I waited for a while but felt as though he was just stringing me along . I ended up just walking out . I believe he was bashing me by giving information about me as a child from 5 years ago , which is so childish , unfair and inappropriate . He still has a bone to pick with me because when I was little he flirted with me and touched me too much so I told his girlfriend and he didn't like me after that . All in all I absolutely believe that the opportunity was fair and impartial . I had a very unpleasant experience . The unprofessionalism is and was utterly ridiculous . read more
