It was packed. Although they are known for ice cream we were hungry for food and didn't get any ice cream. Next trip! The ice cream they were serving was beautiful. A lot of standard flavors year round and then a specialty flavor selection. I had a hamburger and cheese curds. The curds were fried too hot and were burned. My cheese burger was piping hot, but as I ate it, towards the end, there was a kind of rancid taste. Not sure from what though. I did not mention it as they were so busy. Our Table also had a Philly style chicken sandwich. It was made very well and was delicious. Onion rings were a very generous amount and fried just right! And they have a counter full of homemade chocolates and nuts! I still give them a 5 star as the place was very clean, patronized by so many. The decor is very original and well maintained! Apparently the inside hasn't changed much in over 50 years, per my husband's aunt. We only came here for ice cream so I can't speak much for the rest of the food and offerings. The ice cream portions are LARGE! I got one scoop, split between 2 different flavors and I barely finished it. Their ice cream selection has a lot of options and definitely be aware it will give you a sugar rush! They offer classic flavors and have rotating seasonal flavors. When we were there, coffee ice cream, my favorite, was on their rotating seasonal flavors. They also had some holiday seasonal flavors, like egg nog and pumpkin pie, since we were visiting around Thanksgiving time. I'd recommend checking their website if you want to know which seasonal flavors are in rotation. The storefront was decorated for Christmas and had a fun display of the town and inside reminds me of Happy Days. Service was relatively quick, and luckily only a few folks inside when we were there; not sure how it is when it's packed. This is definitely one of the coolest micro breweries that I've been to. It's in an old warehouse…read morethat apparently used to make glass molds. I only know this because there was an older gentleman at the bar who said his dad used to work there. The space is super basic with just enough decor to make it really cozy as well. It's situated on the river, so if you're sitting at the end of the bar you can look out the window and see the water. They've kept the place pretty much intact from it's original use, which I think adds to the charm. The bar tender was super welcoming and friendly, and so was everyone around the small bar. I only had their West Coast IPA, and it was on point. When I'm back in Zanesville I will definitely return.

After that we started purchasing various products such as pork chops, steaks and brats and nothing was below 5 star standard. We later ordered a half beef and a whole hog to fill our freezers and we haven't purchased meat from a store since. We've also had a couple deer and hogs processed by them and again have never been dissatisfied! Their prices are also very reasonable for the quality of meat you get from them!
