It was nice to find this place in a small town as evening was approaching. Nice little spot with gas and goodies.

Didn't see our waitress for at least 15 minutes after she told us 'Your order is almost ready!' We watched a lady put a to go order in after we had ordered and she got her food way before we did. Finally we got our order. My burger was raw and my bf's onion rings were burned. Unfortunately there's no where else to eat anywhere near here. The manager seemed concerned when we left, offered to 'make it right' but we were already in the car, leaving, and so hungry. What bothered us most was the lack of concern while we were waiting and waiting and waiting. It wasn't even busy.

I ordered a small breakfast (one egg and a biscuit with sausage gravy) and coffee. Tasty and warm with friendly and efficient service; a welcome stop I hopped back on my Trek Madone for the 9+ mile and ~ 4,000 ft climb to the summit. If you enjoy small road-side diners, Tomichi Creek is worth checking out. Next time I travel on US-50, I will definitely stop for breakfast or lunch so that I can reminisce about another great day on the bike.

They told us it was fixed, and we were sent back on the road. In July, it happened again -- the rear wheel popped off. This time we were unable to recover the wheel. We returned, hoping they would stand behind their work and fix it properly at no charge. Instead, we were charged **$850**, this on top of the **$350** we had already paid the first time. We we're assured by staff and owner it was safe. Within an extremely shot amount of, it happened a **third time**. This time the wheel popping off caused an accident involving another vehicle. We called Russell, the owner of Westcliffe Petroleum, directly from the accident scene. He completely blew us off and took **zero responsibility** for the repeated failures of their repair work. The negligence of this situation put myself my family my GRANDKIDS life in jeopardy. And Russel owner of WESTCLIFFE PETROLEUM feels NO responsibility. 10 thumbs down

Jake and Eric were wrapping up for the day and said they we were closing in 5 minutes. I purchased the water and asked how far the pizza place was. Jake told me and then said "You want a ride?". I said I didn't want to bother him but he insisted. Whenever I'm back in town I will be sure to stop by. Thank you.
