Beautiful hotel and great staff. Everyone was really friendly and the place was kept really spotless. Some great restaurants at the hotel and close by. Definitely a great spot to stay when you're in LA.

Stunning hotel! Beautiful spacious, super clean rooms and very attentive, welcoming staff throughout the hotel. Michelin appointed restaurant in the hotel. Beautiful pool!!!! Highly recommend!!!

I've stayed at a few premium hotels over the last few years (Ritz, Waldorf, etc.), so I went into my one-night stay at the Conrad Downtown LA with a solid baseline. Honestly... It exceeded my expectations. I always assumed (apparently incorrectly) that Waldorf sits at the very top of the Hilton family, but the Conrad is absolutely up there. You can really feel the friendly service and the attention to detail from the moment you walk in. The vibe does lean a bit more "business" than "resort," but that actually worked well for a Downtown LA stay. And speaking of Downtown LA - outside, it's the full concrete jungle. But once you're inside, it's a totally different world. The interior is beautiful: warm, modern decor, and everything feels polished without trying too hard. The room was super clean and surprisingly cozy. The bed? Same level as the Waldorf... the kind where you start questioning why you ever made plans in the first place because you just want to sleep all day. Little details were fun too, like the water. No standard plastic bottles here; they had these sleek carton-style boxes that somehow feel fancier than they need to be (in a good way). I also loved the view of Disney Concert Hall. That alone made the room feel very "LA." Valet was quick and efficient, which I always appreciate when you're checking in/out around city traffic. After this stay, I'd honestly put the Conrad up as one of my favorites, mainly because I'm really into the more modern styling of the rooms. Definitely coming back in the next few months. I want to actually try the amenities (pool, sauna, spa services, etc.). Also... now I'm curious if other Conrad locations are this good.

The Conrad This hotel sets the bar high! BOOK IT! **Long review but worth the read: As consumers, when we spend our hard earned money, we want to be sure the experience is worth every dollar. Today, hotels lack so much, but continue to charge crazy rates and offer subpar services and experiences. The Conrad renews our faith in a "luxury" experience being possible: Staff: Every person we interacted with went over and above. They are clearly not just trained in excellence, but strive themselves to represent it because IT WAS NOT FAKE NICE... It was genuine care, conversation, and service. EXCELLENT STAFF Examples: Vanessa, Joshua, Joanne (Jo), Rudy, and Stephanie. Vanessa took our call and added notes to our stay to help it to be accommodated for early check in, high floor, and extra room requests. Once we arrived they honored EVERY request! They even upgraded us for my birthday. Room: Was CLEAN and fully stocked as all rooms should be. This should be a norm, I know... but it is hit or miss at other places. The room was lovely and the bed was amazingly comfortable. The black out shade was a great addition which allowed us to get our best sleep. My bday Night 1: We return from dinner and the room was reorganized and even my makeup was arranged on a black towel for me. They turned on music and mood lighting and had added a mat with slippers by the bed. The bed was remade and had extra pillows and there was birthday cupcakes, signature waiter and they even brought ice for the water. This truly made me relax and feel welcomed and special (luxury). We went to the bar and they found out my birthday was in the morning and the next night we entered the bar ( night 2) they ALL remembered and said happy birthday Joshua even made me a drink and said it's complimentary. The staff chatted with us most of the night. Each of them were super kind/genuine. It was a a chilly night I requested tea. They brought me not just chamomile tea but left extra in a lovely clear kettle that I could pour from. They also brought me honey with lemon. *They always do more than you ask! We ordered food at the bar and it was delicious. We headed back to the room and again the room was remade and a vibe was set with more water and ice, lights/music. It may seem like a small gesture but it was huge to us. The level of coordination and care it took to be sure they entered, set, and left our room before we arrived is to be acknowledged, because we didn't schedule, and moved on a whim going with the flow. The next morning at breakfast it was delicious and staff "Cruz" even brought a complimentary flan that said happy birthday on it! Above all the things I appreciate and loved about this hotel, the biggest, and most important thing was they gained my trust!!!! TRUST: The hotel felt safe and secure. Today, being able to leave your room, and things be there upon return, should be a norm, but sadly is not. So... I really appreciate that we could trust The Conrad with our safety, our vehicle, our belongings, our billing card, and everything...this truly restores our faith in hotels as a whole. Thank you, thank you, thank you & God bless each of you even the names not listed! I know there were people behind the scenes as well See you soon! We already planned our return!

We've never been let down by Conrad hotels. We had an incredible time at the Conrad, Los Angeles. Our valet service was awesome. Kayla at the front desk was amazing. Our room was incredible, with balconies overlooking Dodger Stadium as well as LA City Hall. This was one of our best trips, so thank you Conrad staff!

We visited for a Sunday night and it was a nice experience. The valet and check in were smooth as silk. The room was a bit smaller than other Conrads I have visited, but still adequate. The service and accommodations were excellent, as was the restaurant, San Laurel. I used my AMEX benefits for early check in, breakfast and hotel credit which was nice. The reason I took off 1 star was that valet parking (which you need in that area if you don't want your car broken into) was $62, even as a Gold Member. That is ridiculous. Overall, great hotel.

My wife and I attended an event at Conrad and had another wonderful experience. The staff was so friendly and welcoming, and Nhigel at the bar made us a few nonalcoholic cocktails that were incredibly smooth and delicious. We're locals and have enjoyed Conrad for spa visits, massages, and office lunches, and have also referred many out-of-town guests here. The atmosphere is uplifting, the food is delicious, and it always feels a bit like home. Thank you, Conrad, for another amazing time.

Total follow-up. One Star experience for a 5 star Hotel. Service here is -; nearly flawless, though not quite impeccable! Pool on the 10th; pristine-crystalline , Thursday afternoon chill vibes . Spectacular views , and the building? Structurally and visually a treat for the eyes. Negative this round... I had a real fall that caused a nosebleed . Called reception 20 times! NO ANSWER (absolutely terrifying when you need help!). After getting my situation under control, I requested late check-out due to the incident. Got hit with a wishy-washy "NO." Had to rush out to meet their "precious" checkout time while still shaken up. No harm, no foul on the hotel's end, apparently . But I was pissed about the complete lack of support when it mattered most. That's my review!

What a beautiful hotel. I stayed here for a total of five nights, and it was magical. The rooms were immaculate, Clean, very spacious, and more importantly, comfortable. My room got turned up, at least twice a day, which was really nice, I always had fresh water next to my bedside, and some of the most delicious butter. Cookies I've ever tried. The grounds are really clean, and I felt super safe. The hotel is centrally. Located around a lot of different attractions. And super close to the hotel. I would absolutely stay here again. The whole process of checking in and checking out was super easy and I just felt like I was on a dream trip.

Splurged on a room here for a staycation for my birthday. It's absolutely amazing: the service is out of this world, the byredo soap is a luxurious touch, everything is beautifully designed, and the room is so comfortable and clean. If you get food delivery the staff will deliver it to your room. Valet here is super fast. And the pool area is gorgeous (regret not having the time to enjoy it). It's pricey, but honestly, I was relaxed and impressed during my stay, I found it worth it. Next time I have a staycation, I'll book two nights to really enjoy all the amenities.

The Conrad defines high quality. Street parking varies depending on the day you go, they also offer valet for a fee. Love their view of the Walt Disney center, plus their incredible lobby area!! When you step on the balcony in the lobby they have mini fire pits, keeping you nice and toasty. They have a beautiful atmosphere here. They staff is professional and kind. I've been here a handful of times and I've never had a bad experience. They have a beautiful spa downstairs. The rooms are clean and kept well. Everyone deserves to come to the Conrad in dtla. The employees are amazing too!!

We had an amazing experience at Conrad LA! We were there the week before Thanksgiving for the Sabrina Carpenter concert. I was traveling with my daughter and her friend and we had two separate rooms. One of the rooms was an upgraded suite which was absolutely superb (although my daughter and her friend took that over!). There was a steam shower in there that was equivalent to one you would see in a gym like equinox. Beautiful views of LA. Housekeeping service was superb. We did dine in the bar/restaurant as well as Jose Andres San Laurel. Both were great restaurants and, of course, San Laurel "stole the show." (I highly recommend the Crudo) The staff were wonderful. One particular hotel manager certainly went "above and beyond." La'Quan is as top of a manager as you can get. He provided exceptional service. Upon check-in, there was a minor issue that he addressed promptly with genuine care. His communication was clear and he ensured that the outcome exceeded any expectations that we had. He is the type of personnel that is a tremendous asset to a hotel or resort and deserves recognition. The hotel is also quite close to downtown so if you are there for an event at Crypto.com Arena, it's quite convenient. I highly recommend this property!

Had a concert in the area and decided to book a hotel and spend the night. Booked via Amex travel, i booked a double room for myself and two friends and was granted an upgrade upon arrival. The hotel is modern, stylish, and smells terrific. There is an interesting bit where there's two separate elevators - one to the valet level and then another that just goes to the rooms. We had an incredible time -- got a room on the 22nd floor, layout is ideal and we were impressed with the room. A couple other things stood out: - plenty of glassware (2 wine glasses, 2 whiskey glasses, two high ball glasses + glasses by the bed and sink). - plenty of complimentary water (served in environmentally friendly cardboard packaging) - turn down evening service + refilled our ice. - truly spectacular breakfast (Spanish themed) We also utilized the sauna and steam room on the 9th floor - highly recommend. Overall, i was truly impressed and would stay here again in a heart beat.

I can't say enough about this Omni location. My cousin and I were in LA for a make up convention…read more I've never been to LA and was so nervous about where we should stay. It's such a big city and we wanted to stay somewhere central and safe. We were on a girls trip with our daughters. First, our check in experience was great. Michelle checked us in and was sure to let us know about the amenities available. She gave us completamentary drink tickets, and extra waters which was so kind. We had requested adjoining rooms which was so convenient with our two girls. Our rooms were spacious, and clean and perfect. The lobby always had infused water for everyone, and some kind of treat. In the mornings, there was fresh ( surprisingly amazing) coffee and pastries. Another day, we came down and found fresh watermelon juice, and bruschetta with tomato and cheese. Another day, there were petit fours for us. A HUGE perk of staying there is the car service. They will drive you anywhere from the hotel within a three mile radius and you can call them to pick you up and bring you back as well. We used this s much and it really saved us alot of money, and we felt lots safer in the company of their wonderful drivers instead of random Uber drivers or walking around in an unknown city. Robin, Henry, Robert, and Oscar made our trip so memorable. All of the folks that worked there made us feel like royalty. Every time we stepped towards the doors, they were being held open for us. Just spectacular service! We even got a late checkout and Roberto ( nice eyebrows) was so sweet to bring new keys up to our room since our old ones would deactivate before we checked out. When I say I'd recommend this place to everyone..I'm saying it with my chest. It was really the best hotel experience I have had in a very long time. 3 of the drivers we chatted with had been with the company for 30 years! Omni must treat their employees well and because of that, their customer service shines. It's service like this that will make us lifelong customers.

I was always welcomed whether it was someone opening the door as I entered or the people at the reception. My flight arrived early and they were accommodating to provide me with an early check in. The elevators are close to the check-in desk and there was never a long wait for the elevator. I had a room with a king bed. The room was adequate in size and the bed was pretty comfortable. The bathroom has a separate walk in shower and separate tub. Where I feel this place is a bit outdated was the lack of USB ports for charging. The desk had an outlet built in but one of the power sources was not working. I had to do some work and needed to plug my laptop into the one working plug. But I also needed my cell phone and wanted to keep it charged. I had to unplug the lamp to use the power supply. There is another plug on the nightstand but that would have meant leaving the phone on the other side of the room and I needed the phone while I was working. But because I had to unplug the lamp, I had to work in the dark (it was evening). I can't remember the last time I was in a hotel room that didn't have USB ports so you could charge your phone at the desk and at the nightstand. I could have called the desk and I'm sure they would have given me another room but I was all settled in. Movies; this is the first time I have been in a hotel of this caliber where you had to pay for movies. Certainly I have been in other hotels where you pay for "some" movies, but not all. Usually there is free Showtime or HBO. No, I didn't travel to watch a movie, but sometimes it's nice when winding down in the evening or to have on in the background when working. They did offer some recent movies and even some that I think are still in theaters. Of course I would expect to pay; but most other top named hotels I would be able to watch movies for free. They do provide the opportunity to log into your Netflix and/or Amazon account.

Traveling can be challenging, no matter how you go about it…read more If you're driving, chances are you're stuck in traffic, dodging impatient drivers under the unforgiving sun for hours. If you're flying, you're navigating long TSA lines, hauling luggage through terminals, and feeling like a package on a conveyor belt. By the time you arrive at your destination, the last thing you want is to sit around, waiting for your hotel room to be ready. What's worse is the industry-wide norm: early check-out (as early as 10am) and late check-in (sometimes not until 4 or 5pm). That's a six-hour window where you're essentially in limbo--and honestly, it doesn't take that long to turn a room around. But then you come across a place like The Hoxton--a brand that just gets it. From the start, I noticed something different: standard check-in at 2pm and check-out at 12pm. That's only a two-hour room turnaround, and honestly, that small detail made a big impact on my stay. It showed that they respect travelers' time and understand how exhausting the journey can be. The early check-in wasn't the only win. The Hoxton's hospitality extends beyond logistics--it's in the welcoming atmosphere, the effortless design, and the subtle feeling that everything is being handled without you needing to ask. When a hotel pays attention to the small details, like realistic check-in and check-out times, it sets the tone for the entire stay. It's the kind of thoughtfulness that keeps you coming back--and recommending it to friends. The hardwood floors and minimalist decor were a breath of fresh air--literally. As someone with allergies, I was relieved to walk into a space that felt clean, airy, and well-maintained. No musty old carpet, no suspicious stains, and no wondering if your socks would survive a stroll across the room. Just a bright, well-designed room that felt intentionally simple and refreshingly comfortable. The rooftop pool and bar were definite highlights. Whether you're in the mood to lounge by the water or enjoy a romantic sunset moment, it's a beautiful spot to unwind and take in the views. That said, be ready to pay for it--two drinks ran us about $50, which feels steep, even with the ambiance factored in. The hotel also features an on-site café and diner, which makes grabbing a quick bite or coffee super convenient. But, like most hotel dining, you're paying for proximity and ease--so expect slightly higher pricing than outside spots. Situated in South Park on the edge of DTLA, the location feels both quiet and accessible. It's not in the middle of the action, but the corner is bright and safe, and you're directly across from The Proper Hotel. A short Uber ride puts you close to a wide variety of restaurants, nightlife, and city attractions--making it a great launching point for exploring Los Angeles without the chaos of staying right in the center.

My experience with The Hoxton Hotel was defined by 2 main things:…read more1. Beautiful Historical art deco hotel with super friendly and helpful staff 2. Very limited (safe) parking options as well as nighttime noise problems. The Good: Love this style and vibe of this boutique hotel. In the rooms, there are many cute little features that add charm -- see photos of vent and light switch and retro decor. I did not get to try the restaurants but they look gorgeous especially the rooftop one. I peeked at the pool area near the restaurant; You can get a fantastic view of the city from there. The spaces are all kept quite clean and tidy. My room was small-moderate Queen size. You go through the door and the entryway is also your bathroom and though I admire how clever they work with the space, some area could have been improved. For instance, the water closet had more space than it needed. I really like the closed-door shower area though. Garbage bins were a bit hard to find (one in the WC and the other at the far end corner of the room by the bed). Then the TV is kind of awkwardly placed all the way near the window. Nowhere near center to the bed. I was drawn to this hotel for the perk of it being very dog friendly (and it is!). They provide dog treats, beds and bowls. The only issue I found was lack of potty space for dogs. I understand given the location on the streets but perhaps a faux grass spot can be made around a corner in the alley, near the restaurant could be made. OR a small patch of grass space created on the rooftop area! Then it would REALLY be dog-friendly. The Bad: Valet is $66 per night. PER NIGHT. And good luck parking on any of the lots nearby on the street (not associated with the hotel). There's a HIGH CHANCE your car will be smashed and vandalized. I initially tried the lot across the street and when we got back from dinner to park, these poor guys' car window was smashed and they said several other cars were smashed too. The lots claim they're surveilled 24hr, but that's a lie. Unless there's a 24/7 lot attendant, I would NOT trust these streets. I already paid for the whole weekend already ($52) and there's probably no chance to get a refund. So don't feed into these terrible lots. Risk of vandalism is high. Noise: I had requested ahead of time and upon arrival to hopefully be roomed in a quieter part of the hotel. But I've come to find out, this area is NOT good if you want peace and quiet. If you want nightlife sounds while you're out on the town AND when you get to your room, then sure, this is your place. I stayed on the 10th floor and starting at 10pm until 2:15AM, There was an incessant deep rumbling sound, as if someone's Escalade was parked outside the building blasting bass music. I guess it was a club down the street somewhere. If you're someone who can't sleep through this constant rumbling like me, then this will NOT be a nice evening experience. Fortunately, staff was incredible kind enough to help me change to a quieter room (shoutout to Kevian (?sp)) at 1:30 AM. The space usage and orientation of the larger rooms was better and I had no further issues. Yes, you can still hear the city din in the background but no longer the "pounding-headache" rumble from before. For some reason, it was so much more noticeable at the top-most floor. All in all, I really loved my experience here at the Hoxton and my fur baby boys also had a great time too. I would LOVE to return and want to give a 5 stars, but the 2 main issues (parking and noise) above really kept it from being a seamless experience for me. Well, it's LA... :/

The clerk wasn't outright rude, but for the first several minutes seemed pretentious, like I wasn't good enough to stay there. He didn't introduce himself or ask my name; I introduced myself and asked his name after check-in, and he warmed up a bit. It felt like I'd caught him doing something wrong or arrived before he was ready. I had to ask multiple questions because he didn't offer information or engage. My customer service was on point--his, not so much. I'd been driving all day and was exhausted, wearing very casual clothes, but he felt very judgey. I asked to see the rooms after reading reviews. The first was rundown and not worth the $150 he quoted. He kept going into the back office between questions, implying he was busy or nearly full (there was only one car outside). When I asked to see the other side of the hotel, which had allegedly been updated, he bragged about being fully booked, though I only ever saw three cars. Odd. The second room was just okay, but I was too tired to find another hotel, so I stayed one night. Few things frustrate me more than visible neglect and lack of detail. There were drywall screw heads popping out, scuffed walls, holes, and water-damaged bathroom drywall from a poorly placed glass shower door--crumbling onto the floor. The floor itself was dirty. The outer entry door was peeling badly, shedding bits of clear coating onto the floor and my hands. The blinds appeared to not have been cleaned in months--which should be done regularly. The bed frame was filthy--dust, debris, bits of wrappers and food. It was clearly dirty, with oils, handprints, and dried liquids (I'll leave that to your imagination). The closet doors, off-white, had visible hand grime. The disinfectant wipes I used were brown - yuck. The lamp was dusty, an outlet near the bed had a broken metal piece stuck inside, and both the bathroom vent and hair dryer were caked with dust. The dryer filter hadn't been cleaned in ages. The countertop above the mini fridge was detaching, the bathroom shelf was decaying, and the shower glass hadn't been cleaned. The creamy drip marks on the wall--hopefully conditioner or soap--remained, and the grout was mold-stained. A simple bleach spray would've fixed it. The shower water pressure was awful, with calcification that needs vinegar soaking. It also leaked from the stem. Meanwhile, the sink had too much pressure. The cleaning staff were wonderful--always offering help. The issues here clearly stem from management, not staff. I realize this isn't a four-star hotel and that my standards are higher than average. Having worked in property management and emergency response, I've been in many homes across all conditions and know what "clean" should look like. I attached photos (which don't even capture all of it) so others can decide for themselves. Public beds and showers should be cleaned frequently so dust, germs, and bugs don't build up. The initial clerk did warm up by the end, and wasn't outright rude, just awkward and pretentious at first. When I checked out, a different man was working. He was extremely pushy, insisting I stay longer despite me saying I had to get back on the road. Then he handed me a clipboard and said it was mandatory to fill out--a sheet listing my name, room number, and space for comments, stacked under previous guests' notes. I told him I'd review the hotel online instead. He insisted I fill in each section, so under "comments" I wrote "review on Yelp." Other than being pushy, he was friendly--but it was an annoying end to a stay that wasn't worth the cost. Not the worst stay I've had, but definitely not one I'd repeat.

Absolutely loved our day at the JW Marriott rooftop pool thanks to Resort Pass!…read more Check-in was easy but take note: you must check in at the hotel lobby first to get your key card for pool access. Once there, our cabana was perfectly set up with a personalized name stand--a great touch. The cabana was spacious with comfy seating, a mini fridge (stocked with 3 waters, 3 sodas, and a complimentary fruit platter), plus fresh towels, lounge chairs, and sunscreen available for everyone at the pool's front desk. A couple of logistics to know: parking is valet only at the hotel and it was $65, so I recommend finding a smaller, more affordable lot in the surrounding area if you want to save some money. Staff was so friendly and attentive the whole day. There's a QR code you can use to order food and drinks right to your cabana, which was super convenient. It was a hot day and a really nice gentleman kept stopping by to offer extra ice--such a thoughtful detail. Bathrooms are just outside the glass pool enclosure (key card needed for re-entry), but they're large, spotless, and even have showers. The pool itself is big with a separate jacuzzi and you get stellar views of the LA Live area from the rooftop. Watching the sunset from up there was the perfect way to close out our day. We're officially hooked on using JW for our pool days and will definitely be back!

Had a work event at the JW Marriott and was blown away at the beautiful architecture of the hotel…read more Tall, shiny and geometric design helps make this building stand out in downtown Los Angeles. There's a huge valet area with many upscale cars and SUVs. Inside I am enamored by the openness, the cool vibes and the hub-bub of fashionable people in the dining area. Very well put together and friendly concierge staff. Security looking stoic and very helpful when I asked them where a certain conference room was. I take the escalator up to the conference area. The carpets are soft and have fun designs. Inside the conference room it's bright and has large windows that overlook Olympic Boulevard. This waitstaff had coffee stations set up. I had a great time here. Now I (or have someone) want to book a room and be a guest here!

Really unique hotel. Very responsive staff via text and phone call. I love the aesthetic…read more The vanilla late and the matcha the barista made us during our arrival / check in were incredibly good. That vanilla latte was exploding with flavor, haven't had one that good in years. I am very satisfied with everything. The location, the room design itself and the overall value was incredible. Love this place and hopeful I get to try the restaurant later today if time permits.

Really 4.5 but rounding it up to five stars. The lowest rating on here is currently at two stars…read moreis not wrong. There are issues. For example, one of the light fixtures in my room didn't work. I also had issues connecting to the Bluetooth speaker as one disgruntled reviewer mentioned, but no problem. I just was able to play music through the TV which I don't know why that reviewer didn't think to do that. Also I was fine just playing music on my iPad. The room in terms of design did not disappoint. I booked this place as a staycation option to get work done and with the minimalistic aesthetic and minimal distractions I was able to accomplish what I sought out . Overall, the mini perks like the free waters, which were brands that I normally purchase as well as the welcome drink helped to make up for the minor issues with the room. It's a boutique hotel . I think if I did paid more, I would be more upset and also expect more but given this price point, during low season it's a fair price . Michael, who was working the reception desk and Café was also very friendly and welcoming, and answered my questions to the best of his ability . Overall, the people that work here are really lovely, especially Kofi and Felix , great job hiring managers! I would book again without hesitation for the right price .

I want to highlight how incredible the staff was when an unexpected situation came up…read more For context: I parked in a public parking lot next to the hotel that I was told would be ok to double park in. Important note, this lot has no official affiliation with the hotel (which I didn't realize at the time). Unfortunately, later that night my car ended up being completely blocked in, and when I went to leave, I wasn't able to get my car out of the lot. I went back to the hotel pretty stressed, and Mike and Daryl truly went above and beyond to help me. They took the situation seriously, helped me track down how to contact the owner of the parking lot, and stayed with me until everything was sorted. Thanks to them, I was luckily able to get my car out and I'm incredibly grateful for their care & patience. Just a heads-up for anyone visiting The Aster, only use the hotel valet or street parking. Do not park in nearby public lots, even if they seem convenient.

That's pretty steep for valet but I ate that cost because I didnt wanna feed the meter or walk Hollywood streets solo. I ordered the Ceasar salad with anchovies and they gave me a loteral dead fish on top of my salad. I took that home for my English Bulldog. Service is quick, staff was nice. I got blankets towards the end of the evening because I was cold. I spent close to 200 for my parking my Golden Lady drink and salad. Yes, it was expensive. Music was mid. It was more background noise than anything. I don't see myself coming here again. But, it was a nice time.
