First of all it is raining and I do Home Health which means I stop for gas a lot. The attendant male inside the store told me the bathrooms were full which was nice. Then he told me where to stand to move out of the main area and stand in line at the bathrooms ha ha that's controlling right there. Perhaps let the customer browse on what snacks you have while they wait. I noticed the bathrooms have a code on them so while I wait I asked for the code, he then asked well what pump did you get gas at its written there. What a joke ! He told me to then just grab a door when the person comes out before it closes, very rude. Prices of gas for Conservative fuel is higher in SLO then in 5 cities area or in Sant Barbara county and you pay extra for rudeness. read more

I stopped to get gas and the pumps are not working properly... I needed to use the restroom. The red haired lady working refused to let me use the restroom until after I had pumped gas. So,I decided to take my business elsewhere. Don't bother to stop here if you expect courteous service. read more

The man and woman duo, working the register on 9-18-25 at 2pm, have authority issues and are in desperate need of customer service training. DONT USE THEIR BATHROOM unless you make an indoor purchase. I was going to pay for my gas through tap outside, but decided to get snacks and use the restroom first. When I entered, I was not greeted or assisted until I asked for the bathroom code (123456#) and they rudely summarized that a purchase is the only way to get the code (from the bottom of receipt) although afterwards they told my friend that without his receipt from the gas he purchase outside he can't use the bathroom... the code is literally 123456# and he had already made a purchase but he couldn't use the restroom till they found his receipt??? idk sounds like selfish management to me. read more

If you have Bank of America do NOT go here. The employees are no help, there is so much FRAUD at this location that BOFA will shut down your account if you try to get gas here. And you will have to go through the hoops of calling and getting it opened back up instead of simply getting gas and being on your way that you'd fucking think would happen. I have driven to SLO multiple times this month. Went here to get the 89 Octane gas on my way back home from SLO because it was the closest to where I was staying. On my way back, my van didn't have the usual power to climb up the hill like it did when I drove there. I was hearing the low power knocking sound from my engine. I can feel the hard gear shifting and now I stated to notice the hard shifting when it shifts into ECO Mode where it deactivates the 2 cylinders out of the 6 cylinders. This is the first time I even noticed this since I owned the van from 2012. After I got home, I went ahead and put in Arco 91 Octane to mix with the old gas and after a few minutes, the car was driving normal again and had the power like usual. The shifting was smooth again and the ECO Mode shifting was smooth and not noticeable. read more

But what a nice little gas station and convenience store. Wide entrances from Santa Rosa make it easy to get in-and-out out which is good because there can be a lot of traffic. The place is clean they even mop the concrete around the cars to help make everything just snicker snack. The convenience store is well stocked and the staff was extremely polite I was pleased. But all in all it's just another gas station it's really hard to write massive reviews about gas stations when all you do is come in pump it up and leave thanks anyway read more

At night the store closes its doors for maintenance and daily financial matters from 2-3am. Countless times I have stopped by btwn 3 and 3:30 and the store is still closed. I can understand if you were busy and closed later than normal and were behind, but that's why we have pens - write in a new opening time! I consistently stop here to fill up with gas while in Slo because of the cheap gas prices compared to the 5 cities. It is normally the cheapest gas in the area. Today, I noticed it was a little too high in comparison with some other stations, which is why I'm only giving it 4 stars. I was immediately leery of a gas station called Conserv Fuel. The logo looked too clean to be a mom-and-pop operation, but I had never heard of it before. When I finally finished my San Francisco-to-Southern California trip, I did some research on Conserv Fuel. I couldn't find a true corporate site, although there is a website that seems to be the founder's personal/political blog. I guess I can deal with entrepreneurs trying to green the country's fuel supply, but everything seemed so 2007. Yes, ethanol is technically less environmentally destructive than gasoline, but corn-based ethanol is an economic and social disaster waiting to happen. And yes, it's bad for the environment. Cellulosic ethanol is better than traditional ethanol, which uses the corn kernels themselves rather than the non-edible parts of plants, but the grand majority of the ethanol infrastructure in the US is based on traditional ethanol production; so encouraging the conversion from petroleum-based to plant-based fuels with the current infrastructure is a recipe for higher food prices, increased environmental degradation, and the further ubiquity of genetically modified corn crops, which will probably eventually destroy the organics movement because of unintended cross-fertilization. What does all of this have to do with a gas station in San Luis Obispo? Not very much. The gas is relatively cheap, and the convenience store is well stocked. The guy working here when I came was really nice, which is impressive considering the number of drunk college students he has to deal with on a regular basis. Driving around SLO is kind of a trip. I didn't go to school there, but I visited my friend so many times that I almost feel like I did. This past weekend was the first time I really got a good sense of the place in terms of how the streets are laid out. It's almost completely the opposite of what I thought. I made a wrong turn on Foothill, and then I doubled back even though I could have gotten on the freeway the way I went. Making that unnecessary circle and realizing my mistake made me feel strange. If I hadn't thought about it and had just followed my instinct, I would have been fine. But I over-thought it, and--as they say--mistakes were made. Oops? I didn't say that, but I wanted to. Really. Foothill goes a long way west of Santa Rosa Street, and its southern sidewalk is remarkably crowded with pedestrians, despite the hot sun and SoCal driving lifestyle and my notions of feeling old. I was a little bit depressed when I got back on the 101 going south, but at least I didn't get pulled over this time, and I have a really nice memory that I won't easily forget. read more

Zero Stars! Rude and shoddy personnel. Charged me for gas I didn't even pump, and then they got confrontational when I objected to the charge. I'm filing a complaint with the bank. Worst attitude I have ever seen from a retail establishment. Worst! Card reaqder at pump didn't work, so I had to go inside and wait in line twice, and even then didn't get the gas.
