Omar came out to take a look at my irrigation system, he found a really simple problem and was able to fix it within about 30 seconds Most companies would charge you a service fee, and stick it to you, but not Omar. Omar was super honest and advised there was no big deal. Don't worry about the service fee or anything. Because of Omar's honesty when I redo my entire irrigation system, they will earn my business here. It's hard to find good honest people, nowadays, and conserva is one of them. I started having issues with the system that they installed about four months ago. It was an issue with the sprinklers not turning off. I was paying high sprinkler bills because of this issue. Four months later, the issue occurs again. All of the evidence in the app showed that the third zone did not run properly and that I manually turned it off three hours later when I saw the sprinklers still on. In spite of what the app was showing, he said that i must have messed with the programming between the second and third zone (despite it being early in the morning), and did nothing to fix or further investigate the physical components. He said that because it is currently working when he tested it three times, he doesn't believe that the system is not working and can't do anything. I am now paying a $400 for my sprinkler bill and have a useless system that I have to manually manage and is costing me more money than if I had never had it installed. Terrible product, do not pay for the app/automated/upgraded system- it doesn't work consistently, although they will happily take your money to install it. read more

I just made an appointment to have Justin, a service tech/supervisor from Conserva Irrigation, come to our house next Tuesday. As I ended the call, I got a text notification from their office that confirmed the appointment. This is a simple technology trigger but how many companies are that thorough? A few months ago, we wanted to have drip irrigation (tubes that drip water) installed in our raised garden beds in our backyard. We called a lot of companies and a handful came to the house to assess the job. Incredibly, one company quoted the work, sight unseen. Justin came to our house and gave thorough inspection to our property. He talked to us about the work needed for the drip irrigation and how changing the existing sprinkler heads would make for more efficient watering of the backyard space. We just had a sprinkler company do the work and were surprised that they didn't suggest - or use - what Justin described, sprinkler heads that have two levels of spray to water the ground and nearby planters. He suggested pop up sprinkler heads instead of the tall, obtrusive pvc pipes the other company's tech installed after explaining it was the only way to water parts of the backyard. He also suggested the use of the in-ground filter, which no other company rep mentioned. When Justin assessed the work, we asked him to do the plumbing and in-ground water filter installation so we could set up the drip irrigation. We never did that before but YouTube videos convinced us we could and doing that part of the job ourselves would save us a lot of money. Justin's quote was reasonable - and unlike other companies that sent us templates they found online, Conserva Irrigation's quote was detailed and covered all aspects of the work, including time duration of the project. We hired Conserva and asked that Justin do the work. On the date of the job, Conserva texted me to let me know that Justin was enroute. Justin arrived a bit early and was prepared for the job. He had a great, friendly attitude and it was a pleasure to work with him. He worked cleanly and quickly. He explained all the work he did, as he ran the sprinkler system to ensure that everything was to our liking. Justin returned a few days later with the in-ground filter (ever-present supply chain issues, gotta love it). Seeing his work, our neighbor called Conserva to hire them to do sprinkler work in his yard. Before hiring Conserva, our neighbor was frequently having sprinkler head issues and geysers of water on his property. Ever since Conserva's service call, he's had none. Hiring Conserva Irrigation was such a smart move. Now we use free water from the waterway in our backyard - hence the need for the in-ground filter - instead of the City water that we pay for. Did it work? Yes! We successfully grew butternut squash, hot peppers, sweet peppers, cucumbers, arugula, marigold, turmeric and ginger. We continue to enjoy fresh veggies from the raised beds! So why did I call today? Because we were able to install the drip irrigation so easily, we want to do it in another part of the garden where we have different raised beds! These beds have covers with built-in drip hoses that used City water but we removed the covers to convenience plant growth. In a few days Justin will do the plumbing - and I'm sure check out the rest of the property to keep an eye on anything that needs attention. Being a first-time single-family homeowner in the Fort Lauderdale area, after decades of living in high rise condos, co-ops, and apartments, my learning curve has been quite steep. I have learned about landscaping, pool maintenance, lawn care and most recently sprinkler systems. Recently I needed a mechanical anti-siphon valve replaced with an anti-siphon valve with flow control, so I did what everyone does: I googled sprinkler system companies near me, and Conserva Irrigation of Fort Lauderdale came up. The 270 reviews sold me, and I phoned them for an appointment. As luck would have it, they had a recent cancelation, and I was booked for the next day. The representative had me text a couple of pictures of the project for the technician to view and be prepared for the job. One of the company's lead specialist, Austin White, pulled up the next day as scheduled. I explained the job and showed him the part I had purchased. He said the part was exactly the quality part the company uses, said the installation would take minimum time and calculated the cost. I felt the proposal was very reasonable. After completing the task and testing the system Austin then performed a full system inspection. He then went over the findings with several recommendations. Some would bring the system up to the current high-end technology. Most were reasonable upgrades that would save me $$$ on my city water bill. I have decided to schedule replacement of the sprinkler heads and wait on the top-of-the-line Hunter controller. I am also seriously considering the maintenance package the company offers. If I could give these guys zero stars, I would. They dug up my yard, on what should have been a quick project, and then disappeared. No idea when they'll be back. The one guy they sent said he'd be back on "my next appointment" but the office never bothered to schedule an appointment for me. They're now closed for the weekend, their one man crew took off, and my yard is a combination of mud, holes, and piles of mud and I literally have NO IDEA when they plan to come back or even if they plan to come back. Set up an appointment with Conserva Irrigation one week ago to inspect my irrigation system and repair a sprinkler. I received no news from them throughout the week, but placed a call with them today to confirm my appointment. After confirmation of the 2-4 PM appointment, I was told I could expect the technician at 3 PM. At 3 PM, I received an email from Conserva of my inspection results- a blank form, and I know nobody had come to visit. When I called again at 5:30 they informed me they couldn't contact the technician or know what happened to him, and that they'd forward my case to the 'emergency team' to make things right. It's been an hour since that call and I've received no news from Conserva Irrigation. Their lack of transparency, inability/lack of desire) to contact me, and willingness to just waste 4+ hours of my time speaks volumes about the company. I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere for your irrigation needs, and find people who will respect your time and money. read more

Our sprinklers weren't working and we called Conserva Irrigation to investigate. Our pump had died and was in need of replacement. Steve gave us a very reasonable price and also offered a sprinkler system maintenance plan. Our lawn runs on two zones and the second zone NEVER had full pressure. Steve said we might have a broken sprinkler line. After further investigation, there was a problem with a piece of glue that was prohibiting the zones from properly closing off. Conserva irrigation has been extremely reliable, prompt and professional. Questions I've had have been answered will all the convenience of a text message! Shady business. Austin installed an irrigation system on the behalf of this poor company. 2 weeks after till this very day multiple problems has occurred. Their strategy? Push false blame on other parties that do not exist. After communicating with their owner Juan I understand completely their strategy: charge high prices, then try to squeeze more each time by charging 65$ for service in which they won't take any responsibility, but try to have you spend more. Multiple lies and excuses and rudeness. My advice- STAY AWAY AT ANY COST. And report to state officials. read more

This company advertises free estimates. However, when I spoke to one of their representatives she stated that they would not come out to our home unless we paid $65.00. Our sprinkler system developed a leak. I called Juan with Conserva Irrigation. Juan told me I had to have a landscaper remove a root system before he could address the leak. Juan helped me to find a landscaper who did a fabulous job. Juan was supposed to have a crew of his own immediately follow the work of the landscaper to fix the sprinkler system (as the water to the entire house had to be shut off to grind out the root system). The problem is that no one from Conserva Irrigation ever showed up after the landscaper finished his work. I did not even receive a call. We went the entire afternoon and overnight without water in the house. When I called the next morning, I was told we were not even in Conserva's appointment system. I asked when I could expect them to show up to help me. Conserva could not give me an estimate and the best they could do was tell me they would get back to me by 4:00 p.m. (that was to get back to me with a call but no assurances I would see a repair crew that day). I moved on and found a sprinkler company who sent someone out within one hour of my call. I would give less than one star if allowed to do so.
