I came here most recently for the fall festival but I also purchased some plants (and regularly do from here). The fall festival was very cute. It was $15 and you get to pick 2 options from a hayride, pumpkin painting, a hotdog, a croissant sandwich, a frozen cider, and a kettle corn. I did the hayride and pumpkin painting. We only got one pumpkin so we were able to use our extra ticket for a kettle corn. The hayride is a little silly. You definitely need to just enjoy the campy vibes... Is it a little short and cheap looking? Yes. Are the vibes there? Yes. If you go in expecting that then it'll be fun. There was a short wait (at around 2pm on a Saturday) but probably not even more than 10 minutes. For the pumpkin painting, you're able to pick your own pumpkin and they provide you with some paints, brushes, and water at tables. When you're done, there's carts you can leave your pumpkin to dry on while you continue to look around. In addition to the food that you can pick from on the tickets, there were also funnel cakes, churros, and shaped cotton candy for sale. The churros looked like they came with A LOT. For the kettle corn that you can pick with your ticket, you can actually pick between a bag of regular popcorn, caramel corn, or kettle corn. This wasn't listed on the ticket so it was a nice surprise! They make the popcorn right there in the tent and we got the kettle corn which was very good. There is also a "pumpkin patch" which is just some tables of pumpkins that you can purchase, a big box of gourds that you can purchase, and a small fall-themed photo area. Overall, I thought it was very cute and fun as long as you know what to expect. For the actual nursery, I picked up some flowers for my yard. Their plants somehow always seem to be of very good quality and I choose to get all my plants here. read more

The fall festival at flamingo road nursery was such a cute surprise today! They really tired to make this a fall wonderland. Lots of decorations and pumpkins galore. the $15 admission fee comes with your choice of 2 things from a list of few different things . For example a hayride, pumpkin painting, food, frozen apple cider. We did the little hayride and it was a legit ride on hay which is hard to come by in Florida we thought it was pretty funny. They did a great job setting this up and the little kids enjoyed it! Only downside was when we went today (10.24) we could not find one pumpkin without bugs all over it! We came here to kick off our fall festivities at their fall festival. It's $15 to come in per person. And then you have an option of picking to activities/food or snacks. The line was organized, and easy to come in and pay. We opted for the hayride and pumpkin painting. The ride was just wish more thought was put into it. Looked like they just put the scare crows together. Some of the signs still had price tags on them. For the pumpkin painting there were tents so it helped with the coverage of the heat/sun. Just wish they had fans under the tents would've helped tremendously since the weather was very hot and will be that way during these activities. Food was basic. They had burgers or hotdog, and then you got a bag of chips with it. We try to get the frozen apple cider, but their system went down. Overall, experience was OK, but I probably won't come back next year. read more

Yesterday was a beautiful Fall day and we chose to spend it at their Fall Festival 2024. We had a great time there enjoying not only all the Fall decorations, but also the pumpkin selection, the hayride, the frozen apple cider drinks, the scary Halloween characters, the beautiful plants, the huge adirondack chairs, the bakery, the crafts, pumpkin carving, the food, the monkeys, the flamingos, and overall vibe of the nursery. They have a large free parking lot including wheelchair accessiblability. Dogs are welcome if leashed and under control. Wear comfortable shoes. It was $15 per adult for admittance. Children 1 and under are free. I highly recommend this for a fun time. read more

A cute location for the holidays, came here for the pumpkin patch festival with some friends . The entrance was $15 and you get two vouchers for activities which is great , we got the apple cider and the hay ride . There was not much with pumpkin as a the patch it's self . This little gem is always my go-to spot to clear my head or simply get out of the house for a bit. Entry is free, and you'll be amazed at the variety of live plants they offer. Right now, they have a great selection of fall and harvest items, including plants, decor, pottery, and more. As you stroll through the garden, you'll notice a diverse array of flowers and plants around every corner--from orchids and bonsai to herbs and veggies. After exploring, you'll likely find yourself drawn to the wonderfully fragrant little café. Here, you'll find jams, honey, marinades, and fresh-baked goods! Although I didn't purchase anything this time (which I now regret), I highly recommend the chocolate banana bread; it's heavenly! This nursery is a great place to visit for all of your gardening/planting needs. They carry an incredible variety of plants so it's likely they're going to have whatever you're looking for. The open layout that's filled end to end lets you get immersed in the surrounding greenery. Even if you're not looking for anything in particular, it's well worth the visit to take a relaxing walk around. I especially like coming here to get my milkweed for Monarch caterpillars/butterflies. The most important thing in the whole process is getting plants that are totally natural & haven't been sprayed or treated with pesticides. Unfortunately, I've gotten my share of plants that weren't good but that's going to happen after doing it for years. I really wish they were more consistent with their supplier because that would let me purchase with 100% certainty. It's a waste of money when the plants aren't good but luckily it doesn't happen often. The prices here aren't the cheapest but they're also not too steep. It's worth it when you know you're buying a well kept plant. There's always a couple employees walking around which shows they're keeping an eye on the products. Any time I've ever needed assistance they've done a great job at helping me out; I usually get service with a smile. I'd highly recommend visiting this nursery if you're a plant lover like myself. In my opinion, it's worth paying the few extra dollars & driving out here when I need something. It's also a cool place to visit if you want to chill out while looking at some unique plants. read more

I recently needed some landscaping done and decided to try Flamingo Nursery, as I've always liked shopping there. Joel helped me figure out a design that worked in each part of my yard- some full sun, some full shade. He spent an enormous amount of time showing me (only dog safe) options and also making it fit my budget. He was a customer service superstar. He was always available by phone, showed up with competent teams and did fast, beautiful work. Some things had to be tweaked and added after the initial job and he was right on it. The Old Florida still exists! You can buy some plants, take a photo with an automated bunny on Easter, and enjoy key lime pie all at the same time. The tractor pulled hay ride was ok but in order to gain entrance you need to choose 2 or 3 items on a list that includes: Hayride Hot dog and chips Kettle corn Frozen cider Pumpkin painting Croissant sandwich and chips After I saw a sign that said hay ride $6. Why couldn't we walk around, pick a pumpkin (extra money)and pay for it, and just pay for the hay ride. Instead we got disgusting hot dogs and a bag of stale kettle corn. What a waste. There's also a corn "maze" that's basically a no brainer even for a 2 year old. Don't waste your time or money coming here. read more

4 years later and I'm still a fan :-). I was in search for a neon pothos for my desk and found one for an affordable price at 9.00 dollars. My daughter and I walked around for a bit but it was really hot so we stopped in the cafe. She got a popsicle and I chose the frozen cider which was perfectly made for a cool down. Their fall festival has begun and you can partake in all the festivities for 15 bucks but it's really too hot to do a hayride in the middle of the day so I would go in the morning or before they close. read more

I will be honest I usually come here for the cafe and maybe a plant or just to walk around. I love the cafe my favorite drink is the honey, lemon & ginger just over ice. The $7 Greek salad is huge and for $2 more I add tuna salad. This salad is loaded with garbanzo beans, tomato, cucumber, olives, peppers and basil. Also you can't go wrong with any of the wraps. They also have truffles $3 each and fresh bakery items including empanadas every day. Also there are about 10 different smoothies, coffee and milkshakes. There is always a long line especially on weekends. Just get in it you won't be disappointed everything is fresh! read more

We've been to this nursery because of their awesome little pumpkin patch /fall festival. Every year it has been free to enter and then you pay for what ever you care to purchase/enjoy. It was affordable family fun......until this year. This review is solely on the fall festival. After hyping the kids we arrived and quickly discovered that this festival was no longer free to enter but a whopping $15 per person older than a year. $15 (per person) buys you admission to enter the fall festival and to enjoy 2 of their activities/refreshments $20 (per person) let's you enjoy each thing. If my memory serves me, the activities were a Hayride, pumpkin painting, frozen apple cider, popcorn, face painting, and I cannot recall if there was another activity. I understand that a business needs to make money, but we just felt so robbed especially when they want to charge the 2 year olds in our party the whopping $15 and they barely know what's going on. It was crowded on a Saturday morning and not very stroller friendly because of all the people. If you want cotton candy, you can expect to dish put $11 (which our entire party felt was pretty outrageous). The hay ride was nice, and they were very creative with it. The maze was ok and provided many little backdrops to take photos and required no tickets (well, after you pay the $15 or $20 to enter the festival). The frozen apple cider tastes like frozen apple juice/apple sauce. In order for our 2 kids to enjoy themselves we basically used a ticket each on the hay ride, 2 tickets for the kids to paint pumpkins, which left the 2 tickets that my spouse and I didn't use so it was enough to get one popcorn for the 4 of us to share and 1 cider for all of us to share. Speaking of painting pumpkins, they had a nice little tent set up with tempra paint and sinks to wash your hands. One thing that caught my kid's eye was that he noticed staff washing pumpkins off, and he was very sad to see that other pumpkins were being "erased". The staff explained that when pumpkins are unclaimed, they get their paint washed off....and my best guess is so they can make more money. I would think they'd at least wait until the end of the day because this just looks awful. I doubt we will be returning next year. Our experience here this year felt like we were trying to make a pitcher of lemonade with one small lemon. I cannot see this being sustainable for a large family. We can see it being reasonable to pay a small fee or atleast for the kids to be free, but for a 2 yr old to have to pay $15 to $20 was very unreasonable. read more

One of my favorite places around here. Because of how festive and powerful this place is. They keep the place up with the seasons always changing it up. It looks like spring is in the air, nice decorations. I also liked the new monkey statues placed around. I found them funny. I stopped by to visit the cafe which is located inside on the right side. It's a place where you can find fresh baked goods, chocolates, honey, and many other things. They make this fresh drink. the honey lemon gingerade that is addicting. It's an acquired taste for some lol. It is sour with a bite to it. I liked the drink because it gives me a boost of energy. I get it every time I am in the area. This is a nice place to visit. Flamingo Road Nursery is a fun place to enjoy the holidays and take pictures but this year for the first time they charged $15 per person including toddlers which I felt was overprice for the kids; adults yes but small kids under 5 yrs old should not be charged. It was nice for Fall pictures but next year I will consider going somewhere more jazzy if I have to pay to take pics with the various props. read more
