Me and my wife stumbled upon this place while exploring DT Chamblee the other day. We had no idea what we were gonna be in for, but we were HIGHLY impressed. We walked around the whole place looking at everything. They had tables, sofas, dressers, beds, chairs, and literally everything else! Obviously being a consignment store, this stuff is used, but it doesn't even look it at all. They had so many unique things inside. Upon reaching the end of our self-guided walk, we ran into Kimberly (I believe that's what her name was.) She was one of the workers, and gave us a run down on the store. She mentioned that the store gets a lot of new items quite often, and things get sold rather quickly! She also mentioned that items drop 10% every month I believe, with a max discount of 50% available. I thought this was pretty cool! Me and my wife are looking to furnish our new home, so this was nice to know. We will definitely be back in the future! read more

I am concerned this review might increase traffic to this place, but I can't keep it to myself! Consignment Furniture Depot is a gem. Not only do they have an incredible selection of consigned items, but they also receive items from particular brands that are returns (and often in perfect condition) sold at half price. One of the brands is my favorite lifestyle brand and they recently got my most favorite find ever, an incredible lamp. Things I never imagined I'd be able to afford are now within reach! The staff here are sweet, knowledgeable, and helpful. I brought in the item information from the website and Margo and Marie found it quickly, joyfully, and without any pressure to buy. Super sweet service. Speaking of the website--it's the best shopping resource. It updates every 15 minutes or so, and if an item sells, it is removed in real time. So helpful if you're making the drive out to Chamblee. They also discount items an additional 10% every month that the item is in the store. This place is worth the drive! I found this place on IG. I am in the process of looking for a couch and other things for my home. Went here one Saturday and they offer a great selection of more than just furniture. It is now on my regular rotation since things change here due to it being a consignment store! I have been to these types of stores before and some can have not the best selection however that is not the case here. Great options for different taste in furniture. read more

I came in here since the initial place I was looking for turned out to be officially closed but the hours weren't updated on either Yelp or Google. The place was beautifully lit and organized with living room, bedroom and office sets. You could tell it was high quality but with also high prices. Complimentary popcorn and coffee was available for anyone who wanted to help themselves. I can't speak for the service since I couldn't specify a worker other than the gentleman who looked like he worked the pick up/drop off station. Amazing service!! Went in to buy a table about an hour before they closed. They were very helpful in getting me support for transport. I ended up going o a rent my own truck. When I got back, table was broken down and they were even nice enough to give me cardboard so it wouldn't scratch. To top it of, they gave me a wrench so I can assemble it home. After purchasing a new home in Calhoun, we visited several consignment stores in the North Atlanta area to find high-quality pre-owned furniture. After several places we visited that had more "trinkets and trash" than what we were looking for in our home, we came upon Furniture Consignment Depot in Chamblee. They specialize in furnishings from the ceiling to the floor. We left there with enough bargains that covered the cost of the movers delivering it to our home. Now, three months later, we need a few more pieces. The only consideration was not where to go but when to go back to Furniture Consignment Depot. So, we returned today and made additional purchases. Just as before, the staff were friendly and even remembered us and things we had talked about on our previous visit. We are very grateful to the Consignment Furniture Depot, who was by appointment only, and managed to squeeze us in so we could purchase furniture for our son who was moving from college into his first apartment. We were only in town a couple days and because furniture stores were closed we were at a loss of how to get our son situated. I didn't know that the different color on the ticket means a certain percent of discount you can get off the price of the item. I also purchased our dining room table from here at a great price. Walked in expecting to find trinkets, trash, and some used furniture that owners think is worth 3X what it actually is. Had my mind blown. Walked away with two solid wood nightstands, two carved wood stools, a painting, an Italian leather wrapped bench, 4 fancy wine glasses, and a new with tags designer pillow... for $477. One of my favorite stores to visit. My wife and I have literally decorated our house from this store. They have great upscale furniture that is in great condition. I've bought from David one of their store salesman many times, and he is extremely helpful. Knows the store, what they have, and can match what you want to help you quickly. A lady Marcia that works there has really great pieces she makes her self that we tend to buy. To date we have 3 of Marcias pieces. The front desk lady Maria is very nice and helps the buying experience. She really knows the stores and helps you with anything you need. Made me feel very welcome and always has. I loved walking through that red door and seeing a warehouse full of furniture and mirrors strewn across the walls. It is a bit hit or miss. But the majority of their prices are good quality and worth looking at. They will also call you if they have prices that come in that you have requested. Very helpful staff and they do get deliveries with new material quite frequently. read more

I love, love, love this store! A bit pricey but good quality is worth it. Beautiful 'older' furniture in excellent shape and with lots of character. The 'help' is friendly and not pushy. If I had the money and the space I would buy half the items in the store. The store is not over crowded so you get a good look at each and every piece and you can better envision how something you like would look in your room. The original price is reduced 30% each month (for 3-4months) so go back often to see if the one you liked is less. I was there today and going back next week. read more

I would sometimes kill for a husband that could honestly care less about the furniture for our house... but then I am super thankful that he cares so much because if he didn't I never would have found this place. God love the man he wants every piece of furniture we buy to have a story and a soul. Enter Consignment Furniture Depot. Almost all of the pieces are consignment which means it has been lived on and already have a "soul" if you will. Raced over to this place after work because according to my husband I had to see this place (and he found a table for us) and boy oh boy did he find a table for us. It is an absolutely stunning table!! It also came with 6 amazing chairs and the second I saw it I had to have it for my house. It was on the pricey side of what we were planning on spending but for $2000 (with all the taxes and what nots) we made out like bandits. The table by itself would have cost us over $2,800 and the chairs (which were custom made) would have been $350 a piece. You do the math that is a lot more than the $2000 we spent. Oh yeah the table is a Restoration Hardware table. What I liked most though was that Victoria (one of the owners) was super helpful and held a few items for us so we could sleep on them. (It is a good thing she did because I ended up not getting a desk from there that I liked but just wasn't the right fit). In all honestly I would definitely check this place out (they even have a wish list). The prices are unbelievable and the staff is incredibly friendly. read more

So, depending on when you go in here, the selection is hit or miss, although the store is almost always full of items. But, it also depends on what you're looking for. I went in two different times looking for a coffee table (never found exactly what I wanted), but found many FABULOUS artwork/photography pieces, all professionally framed and ready to hang for next to nothing. Seriously, a print with a tag from a Miami Circle retailer still on the back for $10 that was originally $239, just because the glass was broken out! If you're looking for art/wall hangings/photograpy/items to scrap with really nice, expensive custom frames, this is the ONLY place to shop. The furniture is very nice here, and all in above average condition for a used store. Imagine Mrs. Gottrocks decides to redecorate her Buckhead villa, and has no place to sell off her 5 year old, rarely used, $10,000 dining room set. This is where it ends up. They also have a wish list, and will look for items of a specific type for you and call you if they become available. They also have some smaller, vintage jewelry selections, and full sets of fine china and stemware in house. Now that I "frequent" this place, the gals at the desk are really sweet, and remember me. If you're looking for a $5 couch with a few stains, this isn't the place. But, if you want something quality for pennies on the dollar of original retail, here's where you go!! read more

Overall, I like their selection, which by nature, varies. You never know what you will find there, and the prices are reasonable. My only complaint is with the dark haired sister, Maria (I think is her name) who has been uppity on two separate occassions. On one instance, she practically ran into me and didn't say excuse me, welcome, or anything. She doesn't really give off a vibe of "Welcome, spend money here". One of the other owners was nice as she could be, as was a gentleman who helped me load a piece. So, I am torn. I go back here IN SPITE of Maria. read more
