I am giving this business five stars due to one employee, "Pat" a local CO native that works in the yard/warehouse. The front desk sold me the wrong product and Pat caught it before it was loaded on my truck. He explained the difference and then helped me to get my refund. This guy (Pat) was such a pleasure to work with on my project. True Lumber Yards are disappearing from communities and the sales going to big box stores. My go to for any lumber or material. If they carry it I get it from them. If they carried quickcrete instead of sakrete they would be perfect. Nick, Ted, Tim, JJ and the rest of the crew are always helpful creating estimates and landing jobs. A contractors job is hard and Jordans is there to help. I made a large purchase of many Marvin windows and doors from Jordan's 10 years ago and the experience was extremely frustrating. If I called, their window guy, Lee, he fwould seldom answer the phone and often would not return my vm-s. When I went by to set up an appointment, he would ignore me as I stood outside his glass walled office. No one else at Jordan's seemed concerned that a customer was just standing there and nobody asked if they could help me.I persisted because I wanted Marvin windows and I finally was able to place an order and receive delivery. We are currently starting another major renovation project (lots of windows and doors) and I again foolishly went to Jordan's because I didn't know there are other Marvin dealers in Denver. Lee now has an assistant but she refuses to help even with setting up an appointment and or providing basic information. And again I had the same experience of being ignored. Again I stood outside Lee's office while he ignored me until I finally just walked out. Since then I found that there are other Marvin dealers who actually answer the phone and are helpful. Interestingly, everyone I met at Jordan's this time was rude and unhelpful. It's a wonder that they are able to stay in business. read more

We worked with Nick in the kitchen design center for the remodel of our kitchen. He was able to get us in the Starmark Crew cabinet line for a really competitive cost. He helped us work out some areas of the design that our previous designer couldn't really solve and came out to our home two times to measure and double check out measurements before ordering the cabinets. He was extremely communicative, helpful, and is a straight shooter. Once our cabinets were delivered we had issues with two of the cabinets. He ordered replacements, with no questions asked and got us moving back along with our schedule. read more

I undertook a condo remodel in Denver while living in NJ. I turned to Jordan's for the construction of a large storage cabinet and a kitchen island. While I do NOT recommend doing this kind of project from afar, my experience with Nick Goddard at Jordan's was nothing short of exceptional. Nick was conscientious and efficient. He listened, he made good suggestions, and he fielded many questions by this inexperienced lay person. He cheerfully tolerated multiple changes of my mind, and took a trip over to the unit so that he could better advise me. One of the best guides to a company putting the customer's needs first is when a company points you to another supplier when that better fits your needs. By that measure Jordan's is awesome. We need new doors & drawers for a cabinet line Jordan's carries. The person there told me that we're better off getting those units from Home Depot as Home Depot has samples of what we need in stock. We wanted to place an order for exterior doors. The norm was multiple contacts with Jordan, to motivate our order towards completion. Disappointingly, also, Jordan did not stock any depictions of the custom colors offered on their product. They were kind to share, however, their contact in the manufacturing facility, which paints the doors. The manufacturer asked I drive to their facility to pick up color samples, which I did. At the Aurora factory, I could only be provided wood stain palette, no paint colors. I ordered the doors from Jordan in hopes we could later match the exterior reno to whatever color might arrive; no alternative to this gamble. And it arrived! I wasn't notified, but when I called, they could definitively tell me, the timeframes had passed and it must be there. I went to pick up the multi-door order, and after nearly an hour of searching, their staff could only located a portion of the order. We were assured they would work on it next day and have it transported to our home. At hm that day, we didn't see anyone nor receive calls. We went to Jordan's again to try to pick up the door; after renewed search, they located the missing door. & Good news! We could work with the color. Unfortunately, the accompanying standard storm door, was faulty. The hydraulic unit was leaking fluid. So, we brought back the door on a Saturday morning. The staff there greeted us acknowledging that we had not had an easy road to this point, which was very kind. They assured us, they would process the return and be in touch with us. No call was received. We allowed 2 bill cycles to pass in our financial statements. No credit was processed. We went to Jordan's to speak with the staff. We couldn't be helped except by the original order-processor, we were advised. So, we called this contact who stated there was no record of a return. We volunteered all original order info. and asked for a call back before COB. No call. No resolution. We have worked with Jordan's on other (& larger) projects. This snipit is not atypical of the experiences we'd had across the board. If working with Jordan's can't be helped, ask for JJ. He's a genuinely helpful expert there. read more

We used Jordan's to get a new ThermaTru door installed. We're pleased with the door, installation, and customer service. When the doorbell wires broke, after the brick molding had already been drilled, they replaced the brick molding for me so I could run a new wire (which I ended up installing on the brick wall instead), and they didn't request payment until the job was finished. read more

Hands down the best lumber experience i've had. After dealing with a Rocky Mountain Lumber and there god awful service I went to Jordan's. JJ was super helpful and didn't make me feel dumb. While trying to find a product in the store I was helped by a very nice old lady with grey hair. I asked where a product was in the store. She said she would ask someone where it was, when I went looking for her she was behind the counter on the phone helping another customer!! Hello...I'm standing right here...you were helping me first.... Took me 10 min and 2 people to find out they didn't even carry a hardware store staple like Loc-Tite. This overpriced place is rude. This was my third time in and every experience was terrible. I got the feeling they treated me like that because I am young.....NEVER GOING AGAIN!! read more

Jordan's Building Center is awesome! Ted Gage, the assistant manager, is who I worked with to get a new front and rear entry door for my house and he couldn't have been more helpful. Super nice guy too. I got a great price on the pre-hung Therma-tru doors and their installation service was tip-top. Jeff Rivers, their guy who does the door installs, was friendly, prompt, a great communicator, and he and his partner, Clyde, did a super professional job on the install. Can't recommend this place enough. I'll be using them again myself for any additional home improvement projects. read more

Jordan's recently completed a kitchen design and remodel for me. They did an outstanding job! They were very thorough and easy to work with. They gave many helpful suggestions I had not thought of in the design but also did not try to push me into a bigger or fancier kitchen than I wanted. They were very prompt and timely too in the meetings and finalizing the design. I made several changes along the way and they were very patient with me. I would highly recommend them for a kitchen remodel. The cabinets I ordered through them are high quality and the price was comparable to other places I was looking at. Very impressed with Jordan's. I was looking for a door and had tried several of the other big name stores in the area and was given the run around at one and got no service at the other. That's when I remembered Jordan's in Arvada. JJ who helped me with the ordering and picking a door has outstanding customer service. After ordering the door someone came out and took measurements. A couple of weeks later I was called by Deb from Jordan's who gave me a date for installation. Everything went smooth from ordering the door from JJ, to Deb who kept me in loop of the installation date to day the day the door was installed. Jordan's has my business. Thank you. read more

We bought replacement windows for our whole house through jordon's . It was a total nightmare. Took a year and a half to get them in ......one guy and his helper -who couldn't do stairs. I was in shock as I expected a whole crew and they could have done the job in a week. Never knew when they ( one guy and his helper)would show up and then it was One window a day. Honestly, one window a day. Any calls to jordons...went unanswered. No customer service. We've have a problem with a screen...jordon blames the window company( milgard) and Migard blames jordon. We are screwed and this was a very expensive project. They just don't care or stand behind their work..... I wouldn't buy a nail from Jordons....... read more

I will not recommend Jordon's to anyone I know. The service is terrible. My husband and I met with Barbra about our kitchen and the design. We made a appointment for two weeks, at that time she would have a kitchen layout and a price roughly. We showed up for our appointment and were not greated and when we were she was late. At that time we were informed she had done nothing for us but if we would like to wait she would do it now. This is customer service at its worst! read more
