The concessions are better but the prices still are high. The best movie deals on Tuesday nights are only $6/tocket. Some of the theatres have new reupholstered leather seats. Some theatres still have the old style non recliner seats .

What a deal: Tuesday $7 movies
    Gail U.

We went to a Tuesday $7 movie and saw Big Fat Greek Wedding 3 at Pearlridge. Being a weekday, early afternoon no one was around. I had difficulty getting our seats on line and the female employee that sold us the tickets was super nice and helpful. All I needed to do was give her my phone number. No one had bought tickets for that showing so we had first dibs. By the time we entered there were two others sitting separately in the theater. *just so happened my seat looked super worn and icky. The seats on either side looked fine. The sound, temperature in there was just right, I'm glad the seats could recline. ***in fact it was perfect as both hubs and I caught some zzzs in there, shame on us. Thank goodness we didn't pay full price. The two men at the concession helped us with our reward which came as a surprise to us; a small popcorn, a drink and a choice from 3 types of boxed candy so I chose Snowcaps.

    Ticks?

Today on theatre 15 there was ticks jumping on me.... Or I'm not sure what these are... but had more than just the ones on this picture. Also; my seat wasn't reclining, so I was uncomfortable.

Movie magic? This was my first visit to this theatre in many, many years, and only my 2nd time in a theatre during the pandemic. I saw the sequel, Downton Abbey: A New Era, during the Memorial Day weekend. 1. Yes, there's parking. It wasn't crowded at all honestly. There was no trouble finding a space. 2. Yes, the theatre has been renovated (which aligns with all the other renovations Consolidated has been applying to their other older theatre locations......Pearlridge, Kahala, etc.). 3. Yes, one of the renovated items was the installation of reclined seating in the theatres. However, the seating format mirrors that of the old seating configuration; guests must enter from the left or right side of the aisle. Seating is NOT stadium format. Also, the footrest doesn't extend fully so it's not completely perpendicular to the back rest. It seems that if it extended its full length into the aisle, people could not pass easily to other seats in the rows. 4. Yes, the snack bar now offers "hot" items such as burgers, fries, etc. 5. Yes, do sign up for their "Extras" rewards program (if you haven't done so already). I hadn't used my rewards card since before the pandemic, and I was surprised to discover that I had enough points for a free drink and candy, as well as a price reduction for a large popcorn. Total bill = $2! BOTTOM LINE: Same building, different parts. I think its great this theatre was renovated though, it was severely overdue.

The reclining seat of auditorium #14
    Frankie R.

The service was amazing and I was able to use my free admission ticket to see The Beekeeper in Auditorium #14, which is the reclining section and Auditoriums 9-16 are the 10.00 section and Auditoriums 1-8 is the 8.00 sections. So check the tickets prior to arriving. This is a updated review and I am very happy that renovations were completely done and on Tuesdays s are 5.00 and it is cheaper too! So please support Consolidated Theaters by Kapolei Entertainment Center and you will be amazed by how it looks now! Thanks for letting me use my free admission

King size shown in picture but received 2 pack instead. False advertisement

I ordered Reeses Peanut Butter Cup on the online mobile app. You don't get the King Size that's advertised you actually receive the 2pack. False advertisement & deceiving, i will not order again.

It's been a long time since I've been here. Grew up at these theaters and it's good to see it still here. The seats recline now and the outside a/c is good. The a/c in the theater we had was a little weak. We didn't get any food tonight as we just came from dinner so I can't vouch for that. Hopefully we can come back here for future movies. Prices are a little better than the other two theaters in the area.

"Such A Scream" - Tom Waits…read more For a screaming good time (15 minutes), come to the Haunted Plantation to lose your voice if you're easily scared, just don't expect a lot of scenery. PARKING: You have to park on the street on Malakeke (free). Don't pull into the parking lot of the Haunted Plantation thinking you can sneak by, you'll get turned away or caught. Crossing Waipahu St was like being in a live Frogger game; only later did the police show up to direct/stop traffic for pedestrians, which was very much appreciated. I don't want to be a real live ghost at the corner after being squashed by a speeding motorist. PRICE: $21.00 cash only. You have reserve your time slot online, then go in person and pay up the cash. Stand in the line that leads up to the metal cubicle that opens up to magically reveal a table that will take all your money. ATM on premises. TOILETS: Port-a-potties. Dark too. Don't drop your phone into the abyss. DRINKS and THINGS: It was really hot in October. We ended up buying bottled water for $2 at the "snack cubicle" - another metal cube that had water, juice, candies for sale as well as those glow stick necklaces that light up and make you an easy target in the dark for the actors to scare. PHOTOS: No photography or video recording inside the HP. They are serious. If you get caught they will escort you off property. ATTRACTION: you wait in line at the entrance of the tunnel that leads you to the many cute plantation homes, the paths are lit with those mini candles on the ground. If you're lucky you're going on OCT 28, 203 SATURDAY on a full moon, so you can see better. Each home has a bunch of scare actors that dart across you, come up to your face, skittle on the floor, jump out from behind doors and corners, slam and pound the floor and boards. WEAR SHOES. One of the actors meant to slam the floor with his foot only to stomp on my husband's (protected) foot. Scared people may back into you and step onto your feet as well. If you're easily spooked, you'll get a lovely thrill and scream your head off. My son didn't scream once, but he's not easily scared. My husband screamed once. I screamed the whole way. I wish there was more scenery other than dark dimly lit rooms. There was only one memorable one, a barber-shop that had some light in them. If the owners of 17A are reading this, let me come do the mood lighting for future haunted plantations, I can make the houses a LOT scarier with blue, green, purple, red or orange lighting or a combo. I do my own haunted scenes at home and use theatrical lighting to make things pop. TIPS: Take cash, pee/poo at home, wear covered shoes, drink cold water in your car before walking over, wear diaper. RETURN FACTOR: Only if my vocal cords can handle it.

The admission to the museum was pricey, even for Kama'aina, so we opted to get the Family Membership instead. The membership was for 2 adults and up to 4 kids, and also has discounts for other exhibits. After a quick sweep through the museum, and a wary observation of the flight simulator, the grandson decided it was time to eat. I got the Blue Angels Burger and he got the kids hot dog meal. I'd say the prices were reasonable, considering how much takeout and restaurant food costs these days. The burger was fat as hell and the dog wasn't Costco sized but definitely satisfied the kid. I didn't get pics of the food because I was too enthralled over the size of the patty! We spent the day also visiting the Mighty Mo, the Virtual Reality tour, and gift shop shopping also.

In my opinion the Aviation Museum was one of the cooler stops on our trip. I really enjoyed all the different types of planes and carriers they had on display. The bus picked us up from the USS Missouri and dropped us off at the Aviation Museum, there was a short line to check in at the front desk of the museum before you could enter the inside portion of the museum. They had a flight simulator inside the internal museum as well as a gift shop and restaurant. The Hangar still had the original bullet holes in the glass from the Pearl Harbor attack which was a really neat part of history to be able see. They also have a section where they are restoring some planes and helicopter parts. My favorite thing they had was this wood paneled plane in the hangar. They also had some old Military trucks out front of the hangar that were really cool. I highly recommend visiting the Aviation Museum while at Pearl Harbor.

Also, did I really want a Sonic burger? The answer was an easy no. Did a quick search and found this place which I had no idea existed but now I know they exist in an excellent way. People come here to drink, I'm not a drinker but there was plentynof alcoholic beverages on the back wall for your choice that it could be overwhelming. This is a bar with indoor seating and a World Cup game was on. I think there was outdoor seating but it looked like a different restaurant to me. We ordered dirty fries, a sweet tea, the simple smash, village smash, and sweet tea. I have to admit, I'm overly harsh on burgers but from the first bite, this hit right to me. The dirty fries were good also. We washed down that salt with their mildly sweet sweet tea. That's the only miss for me as I like deep sweet tea thanks to some time spent in Mississippi earlier in life. Their food put themselves on my radar so we will definitely be back as we didn't even scratch the other meats they had on menu.

At that point, I asked if my order had even been started, considering it was only two Smash Burgers and an order of fries. Given the excessive delay and lack of communication, I requested a refund. The long wait and poor updates were very disappointing, especially since I had placed my order in advance for pickup.
