When I went outside to see if I could calculate the shipping and delivery cost, with the Q r code, I still wasn't able to do it. And left without furniture. My main reason for going. When I asked for help from other people who worked at the store, unfortunately they just said sorry and that was it. It's a shame. They really did have some really unusual pieces.

The place has cameras but when the cops arrived the manager refused to cooperate and showed everything after that brutal attack. Fortunately I have part of the footage recorded on my phone and decided to take actions accordingly. I also have a witness who will follow up with me and the police because they almost got hot too. I have a police case number but I am warning you all not to shop from there. The manager tried to cover for their employee and kicked us out.

Following being acknowledged instead of helping us, they continued their social hour with other customers. They could have told us it would be a certain amount of time before being helped but so far there is a line of people here just standing awkwardly. Also the cherry on top are that people who came in after us are being helped before us. Not for nothing, but this place is not cheap. The customer service should match or exceed what is being spent here. Two thumbs way down.

We went to the Milford Men's Wearhouse in May for my initial fitting for my Friday, September 4…read morewedding. We started months early specifically so we wouldn't be dealing with suit problems during wedding week. There was some incredible foreshadowing during that first visit: the best man from another wedding was standing in the store in shorts, frantic because his suit was still in another state, despite being promised it would arrive on time. I remember thinking how awful it would be to be in that position. A few months later, we nearly were. At my fitting, a size 52 jacket was clearly too small. The employee had me try a 54, which fit, and said he would order it. When we returned the Sunday before the wedding, it took about an hour just to get an employee to acknowledge us. This was typical of our experience there; virtually every visit took around three hours. The store regularly seemed understaffed, and employees who were present often appeared to avoid eye contact with the long line of customers rather than simply acknowledging the wait. Once we finally got help, we discovered a size 52 jacket in my bag--the same size we had determined didn't fit in May. The same employee had me try a 54 again and said the correct jacket would be overnighted from their hub in a red bag marking it as urgent. The hub reopened Monday, August 31, so we were told it should arrive Tuesday, September 1. Tuesday came. No jacket. When we called Milford, the employee seemed unaware of the arrangement and we were eventually told the jacket would arrive Friday, September 4--the actual day of my wedding. The wedding was on the opposite side of Connecticut, so picking up my jacket in Milford that day was not a realistic option. My family began calling other Men's Wearhouse locations, and I want to specifically compliment the Hamden store. They were excellent. They listened, immediately understood the urgency, and told us management would contact Milford to help resolve it. After Hamden became involved, we were told the jacket would arrive Wednesday. It finally showed up around 1:00 PM on September 2, two days before the wedding. Hamden stepped into a problem they didn't create and helped us fix it, and I genuinely appreciate them for that. Unfortunately, the Milford pickup itself was so disorganized that we were essentially left to gather and pack the rental ourselves rather than having someone review everything and make sure it fit. That mattered on the wedding day. My shirt repeatedly came undone, and my pants were so loose that even their tightest adjustment wasn't enough. During my first dance, I had to pull my pants up multiple times. These were clothes I had been professionally measured for months earlier. We started this process in May to avoid exactly this situation. Instead, wedding week involved chasing down a jacket that had been sized correctly months earlier, calling multiple stores for help, and then dealing with additional fit problems during the wedding itself. Hamden deserves credit for stepping up. Milford is not a location I would trust with wedding attire again.

Even under what I'm sure was plenty of stress with a busy opening day, and full store of customers, they remained very cheerful and friendly, which doesn't go unnoticed. On to the store itself: it was very clean inside, bright lighting, well organized with cohesive branding and signs throughout the store marking the different sections. The selection was similar to other Ross' I've been to with a range of brands, nothing surprised me there. Some high-demand brands I observed include: Kate Spade, MAC, Nike, Converse, Sanrio/Hello Kitty, NARS, Philosophy, Squishmallows, Puma, Vans, and more. You can expect a variety of categories from clothing and shoes for children, women, men; home goods and decor for bedroom, kitchen, bath, outdoor; fashion accessories like handbags; beauty and skin care essentials from lotion to perfumes and makeup; jewelry and watches; pantry items, and snacks; and even stationary essentials like pens, markers, gift bags, and more. I wasn't expecting to see the car accessories that were offered, tons of steering wheel covers seat, cushions, car lights, as well as home-improvement items like paintbrushes, hooks, and more - but great to know they're there. I was glad to see 7 checkout stations, however only a few were staffed at the time we went. The long line moved swiftly with fun impulse buys located throughout the way. I couldn't find any I liked in my size, but he dug down into a drawer and found just what I was looking for. He also helped me select a stylish belt in my size. My purchases were quick and easy thanks to him. While at the checkout counter I asked why he was working in the store alone. He gave the same reason so many businesses are struggling to find help in these post COVID days. There's no incentive to work when the taxpayers pay so well with all the "stimulus" money on top of open-ended unemployment benefits. I just shook my head and thanked him for all his help.
