My sister and I went to 6 places trying on dresses. By chance we came across Special Occasions Bridal House and td her what we needed and what size. She said come on in I have exact what you want! We came right in and she had the most beautiful dress and it was PERFECT! You couldn't ask for ANYONE sweeter, kinder, caring, knowledgeable, professional but down to earth and loving who bends over backwards to make your dress the best in the ceremony!!!!! I have not visited this Mall (once a staple in my life) in many years but was forced to go to the T-Mobile Store for a reason. That said I parked at Macy's in front. Walked through this once great store and was pleasantly surprised. They had and have a nice selection of spring/summer clothing and incredible cosmetic's bars of the old staple of good products. More than I recall in the past even. Then entering the mall was another surprise. Expected alot of empty retail spaces but there wasn't a one and the stores were very nice and the entire mall was really done well. Clean and well selected retail stores. When I was told I would need to return another day to the T-Mobile store to straighten out that issue for a change I was almost glad. I will make a list of some things I've been thinking of getting. Supporting these stores is the best for everyone including Milford residents. I would give it 5 stars but I did not eat there also. Let's see. read more

The products are absolutely beautiful. I really think that nobody com pares to them as far as quality goes. But I stopped shopping there? Why? It is SO expensive. I just cannot afford it. I get it. I do. But I am discovering there are plenty of other places that offer great products for half the price. I used to practically live at Macy's and would sometimes go to browse even if I did not make a purchase. But the value is not there and discount sales opportunities are not as frequent as I'd like. And I cannot afford to pay 250 dollars for a Handbag. Not that everything is that way. I want to make it clear. But if I go to TJ Max, I can make three purchases where I'd only be able to ask one at Macy's. So they were not that hard to give up. Also parking at the mall is insane and for awhile there, they kept restructering and I never knew where to find what I needed. So when I receive good customer service, I always let the company know, which is what I did when I had a great experience in women's shoes a few months ago. Now, sadly, I have to report poor customer service...AT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE DESK!! 2xs now :( I know it's the "holiday season" and these folks manning the desk are not paid well enough to care, or so it seems. No smiles, no courtesy, definitely no apologies for my inconvenience. They say retail is dead & sadly I'm inclined to believe it. Also worth noting here - never enough staff at registers when you are ready to check out. Hopefully corporate reading this. read more

I don't know why this store is in trouble. I guess that all retail in malls is in trouble. My favorite department is the furniture section. They have decent furniture that I'm not embarrassed to have . Not to mention nice rugs. The selection online is pretty substantive and prices are good, especially when they have sales. I often find clothes in the women's department. Their buyers have a good eye for stylish stuff that is reasonably priced. My husband likes the men's department but I'm not really sure why. read more

I went to Macy's tonight to buy a birthday gift. Macy's has a great selection of dresses for women and children. I went to buy a nightgown and slippers for my aunts 89th birthday and I found exactly what I needed. The store was fully stocked and I was sad that I didn't have time to try some clothes on and shop for myself. I like the layout of this Macy's, especially the makeup and fragrance section. The sales associates at the perfume counter can be a little intense, but they are less aggressive at this Macy's location. Overall a decent store. Prices are a little steep, but sales and coupons can save you lots of $. read more

Very disorganized, staff are hard to find and don't even step into the makeup/ perfume area. There are many staff members there and they are all willing to ignore you. They see you but they walk from station to station talking to each other or on their phone. I walked around for35 minutes and no one even asked if I needed help or said a word to me. If you are looking for some alone time where no one will bother you this is the store for you. read more

I purchased an item after waiting for a half hour in line on Black Friday. Later, I see it did not give me the special price. I checked the website just to confirm the correct price. I took a picture. I went to get the correct price and the floor manager refused to honor it. She asked me why it would ring up wrong? I showed her the receipt and the exact item and correct price. She still refused.... Said she can't do anything and I should have done it then. Sorry that's horrible business practices. I spent over $600 at Macy's that night between store and online sales. I hope that $30 was worth Macy's losing a good customer. read more

So this is the email that I received: "Free shipping with $99.00 purchase, Extra 25% off, Extra 15% off or 10% off select departments. Excludes specials and super buys". Not only is this confusing, but it does not apply to sooo many things. So how are you saving? Also, those little red cards you get in the mail. Try typing in the code from them during check out. Doesn't work. And why is it that you cannot apply more then one card at check out? What if you want to put half of the amount on one card and the other card put the other half? Wouldn't miss Macy's if they closed. read more

I went to purchase a pajama set at Macy's in the Trumbull mall in Trumbull CT on Saturday 12/22/18 and after searching for about half an hour I only found the bottom piece of the set. I spoke with one of the sales clerk and she said to speak with the manager Keneisha so she can discount the bottom since the top was nowhere to be found. She further said that the manager did the same thing for another customer the day before. I went to the register and asked the cashier to get the supervisor Keneisha so that I can speak with her. He (the cashier) phoned her and she (Keneisha) did not even bother to come out to speak with me but instead she rushed him off the phone and said she cannot discount even though it was just the bottom piece of the set. I went to speak with the customer service associate and she was not very pleasant or helpful. I am a loyal customer of Macy's but after this low level of customer service treatment that I received I will definitely be doing my shopping elsewhere. Dissatisfied Customer read more
