Impressive. Short-listed Continental given their several consistent online reviews from various sources and a clean BBB rating with no complaints. Called ahead to book an appointment, spoke to Darryl, who said to just come by they could fit me in straight away and provided me with good directions helpful during rush-hour traffic. First impressions were solid and lasting. Front of shop is immaculate neat, tidy and organized, and comfortable with windows clear to the back of the shop where the work is done. Immediately greeted and our vehicle examined straight away. Although just light rear end damage, Darryl went the extra mile by bringing our vehicle into their shop, spray washed it to provide a cleaner view of the damage, then invited me back to view it with him as he performed the inspection. Darryl shared that he has worked in the industry for years, formerly as an in-house appraiser for an insurer, now semi-retired. His shared insights and demonstrated know-how were interesting, relevant & impressive. Although their shop appeared to be running busy, I was taken in by how clean and organized it appeared. While there, I was introduced to the owner who also confirmed my earlier favorable impressions; both Darryl and Carmine appeared unassuming & modest, but were right on point with their transparency and the care that they demonstrated. It became evident that the standards they have in place have served them and their customers quite well. What really made the difference for me was not only receiving an estimate that surpassed any of the others that I had collected due to its thoroughness (+ 16 high def digital pictures); but also the impression that these fella's stand solidly behind the customer in representing necessary repairs to your vehicle to the insurer. Although not on the list of repair shops given to us by our insurer, I feel confident in their steadfast concern for the customer's satisfaction, their honesty and transparent nature, and very evident willingness to actively safeguard their shop's reputation. I had to bring my vehicle (VW) in for body damage incurred during an accident. The insurance company has them as a recommended partner company, so I looked them up and called some dealerships.  They were in fact recommended, so I booked the car in with them.  Carmine and Silvana took great care to make sure that everything went smoothly and kept me up to date on the status of the repairs.  When I initially asked about the extra cost of getting some minor rust/wear issues repaired, Carmine informed me that they might still be covered under VW warranty, and that he would look into the possibility for me.  It turned out that in fact, yes, VW would have the extra repairs made under warranty!  While I recognize that not every vehicle *could* get authorized to have the work done, I can practically guarantee that no other shop *would* have gotten it done for me (or even possibly known to find out)! I also asked if they might be able to make some minor modifications to the vehicle lettering and they obliged without any reservation and even provided me with some better alternatives (for free)!   I know it sounds like a paid announcement (it's not!), but I can state without reservation that you will not be disappointed with the quality of the work, the craftsmanship of the employees, nor the calibre of customer service you and your vehicle will receive at Continental autobody! read more

I took my GMC truck to Continental after a fender bender that was my fault and was immediately struck by the courteous and professional treatment I was given by Silvana and Carmine. They are truly professionals in the way they treat customers and in the work they perform. Although they are advertised as a higher end auto body shop I would not hesitate to take any vehicle here for repair. Their pricing compared with a national company to within dollars and it was an easy choice to trust them with my repair. I was told they would need my truck from a Monday to that Friday and was pleasantly surprised when Silvana called Thursday afternoon and I was able to pick it up at the end of the day. When Carmine walked me through the repair they did he told me they also touched up the paint chips on the hood and front of the truck which I greatly appreciated. This was the best car service experience I've ever had! The owners are so kind and respectful during a difficult time with my car (my car needed some work on it, it's a stressful time because then I'm wondering how long it will take, the cost, etc.). They offered me espresso coffee and had a nice talk with me about how I'm doing. Then Carmine came to look at my car with me, show me where he sees the problems, discusses a couple of options for fixing them, and his courtesy to discuss about when the car could be ready given different options. They took my information down and sent an assessment to me for my different options within a reasonable amount of time. We discussed options and made the best decision for me. Throughout, they were respectful and truly wanted the best outcome. It was incredible! And my car looked brand new! I don't normally write reviews but this one is well worth taking the time to share. The first two years of owning my VW Rabbit, I was side swiped once & rear ended twice. Continental Auto Body came highly recommended to me from the start of my misfortunes. True professionalism & quality work was performed on each of these occasions. Several years after the third collision & after VW would not take responsibility for the start of early rust. I took it back to Continental and they repaired it at no cost. Just recently I brought my Toyota Corolla to Continental after a parking lot bender. Once again excellent quality work and true professionalism. The work was not only done efficiently but in a timely manner as to save my cost on rental. As this was not covered by my insurance, they completed the job in a timely manner & went well below the original quote to help me out. Truly honest and caring. These guys are fantastic! I can't say enough good things about them! They have incredibly knowledgeable staff that are very friendly and do their best to ensure the work is perfect. And I mean perfect! The owners are very kind and courteous as well. They work with you to understand all of your concerns and Carmine looks at your car personally to see what they can help with! This last time Carmine went well above and beyond, fixed my car for a super reasonable rate and detailed my whole car and fixed something else that needed attention for free. These guys do such quality work, with reasonable prices and quick turnaround times. Their staff is lovely to deal with and they go above and beyond. I had to get some repairs following an auto accident - they made everything so easy, and my car looked literally as good as new when I retrieved it. Not to mention that they even cleaned up the interior for me without me having asked!
