I've been going to Continental Cleaners for 15 years plus. I became a customer initially based off of their price and proximity to my home. Over the years they've increased their price but is still very price competitive by industry standards. I've never experience mistakes or a quality issue. I also never taken things there for cleaning if there is a tight need for the article. I'm the type of person to leave the dry cleaning there for a month and find a convenient time to pick things up. My husband dropped off his pants on Monday morning and requested extra heavy starch and crease. When he went to pick them up Wednesday morning, the pants weren't ready. Then they called him a few hours later to tell him the pants were ready. When he picked them up, the pants were not starched, or creased, and they were still wet. When he told this to the girl at the register,she acted like she didn't know what he was talking about. There was no manager around or anyone he could talk to. He flies out tomorrow morning (Thursday), needed his jeans for his trip, and is currently drying the pants because this cleaners couldn't make it right. read more

Good prices here. I called about 6-7 other places around my area first to get a quote for how much it would cost to get my comforter cleaned and I was getting figures from $23-40. Continental cleaners ended up charging me just $15 which is a great deal relatively. They didn't seem to know what a Korean blanket is though, so I had to bring it in before they told me if they could even clean it. It looks like they cleaned it just fine though. I also got a pea coat cleaned for $1.75. Overall good prices, I didn't have any trouble with them (admittedly I only had the two items) P.s. I was a given a lint roller and they asked me to lint roll my dog's hair off my coat before I left. I don't know what the standard procedure is, but I figure if I want to leave my coat at a drop-off cleaning service, shouldn't they be doing this? read more

I've been using this place for a long time. Their prices and turnaround time are awesome. Their quality is not as good as the places that charge $4 to $5 per article, but it is certainly adequate for my office attire. What I mean is: occasionally I'll get a shirt back with, like, a crushed button or something. But that's not enough to offset 5 stars for me when I consider how affordable they are and how they get my clothes back to me really fast. Another huge plus: their business hours. Done with this place after a customer since 2002. I have been noticing more and more problems with my clothing...buttons being melted, cracked, or missing....u had a custom shirt returned to me that was ripped like it go stuck in a machine...no appology no response from the owner after i asked the woman to show it to him....she told me that they switched company's and that they were getting complaints.... Which leads me to today....i noticed i was missing shirts and decided to see if they had them...i asked if they could look me up and then they found a suit that had been there for 2 years...gave it to me covered in dust....then they found 6 shirts of mine that went unclaimed...i know they have lost more of my things..i am terrible with the tickets and thats on me but this place doesnt care about you at all. That being said the older woman who is a bit straight forward does a great job...she should be paid double....seriously this place raises proces every year and now isnt a discount dry cleaner... I judge places on how they deal with you when you have an issue...and they dont care...they really dont....save a dollar today going to them spend $125 on a new custom dress shirt tomorrow... My only complaint is that sometimes they use staples for the tags and I have a difficult time removing them - other than that, I have had only good experiences. read more

A lesson in not listening to other reviewers... Despite the 6 previous negative reviews on Google (they were from last year, and I hoped deep down they might've improved) I thought I'd give this place a try. Mom's been coming here for years and recommended it (it's cheap!) so I figured well why not, money is tight. Dropped everything off (a little nervously), my boyfriends 6 suit pants and 5 jackets that he takes to work which totaled around $20 or $1.65 a garment (a great price in comparison to the other places we tried) and were told to come back after 4pm the next day. Went back today, two younger girls behind the counter barely made eye contact and one said hello. I quickly inspected and things were individually tagged and piled together under one plastic (ok by me, I hate plastic) but to my dismay I immediately noticed despite looking pressed and neatly hung not one stain had been removed. Not one. Same spots on the outside of one and the cuffs were all still dirty. Well, going there was absolutely pointless. Not sure what they did besides tag and wrap everything... Did it even get sent out? According to Google complaining to them does nothing and he needs the clothes this week so I'm going to bite the bullet and listen to other reviewers from now on. Also, once you leave the store you can't complain anyway per their little signs everywhere. Thankfully nothing was damaged and at least I can say I gave them a try...but that doesn't keep me from being super frustrated. *sigh* I'd highly recommend not wasting money here and going somewhere else reputable (with a in-house shop that doesn't send stuff out) instead. read more

For convenience after a move caused my clean dress shirts to be crammed in a carton for days, I took in over 50 shirts to be pressed and most came back looking worse than they did when I took them. This location has the saddest employees--no one has ever smiled at me. Very disappointing. I keep going back because I don't want to pay 4-5x more! At 1.79 per item it's hard to beat. All I can say is eventually you get what you pay for. After frequenting this cleaners for well over a year I am done with this place. Don't get me wrong the price is great and the speed is fantastic but their quality is not up to par. Over the last year or so I have seen small stains here or there on clothes that have been "cleaned" there but nothing stood out as obvious while I was in the store (if you notice at home it is too late to do anything as is stated on their signs). The other day when picking up a bunch of shirts I noticed something on the collar. After closer look 6 shirts had the same stain. After much discussion the girl behind the counter took the shirts to be cleaned again. When I picked the shirts up a second time 3 of the shirts were still stained. At this point I was frustrated and I believe at that point the owner walked in. I showed him the stains that he said that they were fine and that issues like that were to be expected at industrial cleaners. He even went as far as to joke that if he had a dollar for every time someone said "it didn't have a stain on it when I dropped them off" he could of retired 10 years ago... Well he must be used to it and has become so hardened by his own mediocrity that he has given up caring about his customers or his finished product. Needless to say he would take no responsibility and has lost another customer, which is a shame because I have been talking them up to my coworkers for a while, now I am forced to tell them about this unfortunate event. I am sure that people will keep going to this place for the price alone but please don't take your nice stuff there. It might get more stains on it than before and you too might have the owner call you a liar to your face, albeit in a backhanded way! read more

Worst dry cleaning experience I've ever had to deal with. Store clerks are rude, no management on site, and too expensive. I took 1 item in for dry cleaning and they lost it. It has been over a month now and they have no idea about the lost pants or have any intent on reimbursement. Each time I have tried to recover my cloths, they kept brushing me off, telling me to call the owner, which has led to no action from this business, other then questioning me if I even brought in the item.... If you live in the area, there are 2 other very close dry cleaners in the area and you won't have to deal with the bad and over priced service. read more

Have been dealing with this cleaner for 10 years. More damage to clothing than normal, but the pricing justified the trouble. Recently, they found a way to damage metal snaps. Impressed that I could purchase a new shirt, wear it once and have it damaged beyond repair within a week. Will not be returning here, and recommend against using this cleaner. read more

When I dropped off my two suit jackets the ladies at the counter weren't overly friendly but, I got two nicely pressed jackets back less than 24 hours later for an incredibly low price. One of the jackets was covered in cat hair and dust when I dropped it off and looked brand new when i got it back. Happy customer! I have used various Continental Cleaners in and around Denver and even Colorado Springs and have never had an issue with any of them. I recently took in about 20 items, various dresses, skirts and shirts and they all came back clean and nicely pressed. For the price you just can't beat them. Yes they do staple the tags to the garment's tags and sometimes it's a bit difficult to remove them but for the price I'm willing to do that. I wouldn't take a very expensive item just to be on the safe side. But it sure beats hand washing the items and for the price it's hard not to like them! For those who are concerned, I would test a few items that aren't your favorites and see how they do. I'm a satisfied customer and recommend them to my friends. Never again. I brought in 3 couch cushion covers to be dry cleaned. I picked them up and they looked exactly the same as when I brought them in. They explained that they can't get SOME stains out. There were 3 different types on my cushions: water, food (banana to be exact) and cat puke. I find it hard to believe that a competent dry cleaner wouldn't have at least managed to get one of them out, but no! They did what they refer to as a "re-do", and got the same results. All of the original stains were still there, no improvement at all. They also wouldn't refund my my money. I wasted $45 on these incompetent morons and now have to find a cleaner that knows how to do what they're paid to do, CLEAN!! read more
