Price was great. Employees at the front are friendly but more interested in whatever is on TV or their phones. I paid for a color run remover service on one of my tops. Upon pickup, I noted it looked like nothing had been tried. I was offered no explanation, apology or refund. A couple other tops still had noticeable wrinkles. They also don't notify you when things are ready for pickup. I'll be trying another local place next time. read more

Steer clear! I took a dress, jumpsuit, sport coat, and a suit to get dry cleaned in between two back to back weddings we were attending. They charged me $26 to dry clean everything with a quick turnaround which should have been my first red flag. When I picked everything up, there were still visible water stains at the bottom of my jumpsuit pants from when I dropped them off. When I asked them about it they pointed out the tag attached to the hangar claiming that they "tried their best" to remove the stains but couldn't. When I got home they easily came out with a tide to go pen. I was willing to look past that, but the suit jacket, shirt, and sport coat all still smell like body odor. I'm convinced they didn't dry clean any of the garments, and just hung them up with a plastic cover on them. We won't be going back. read more

A terrible experience that has made me a customer for life. Been a loyal customer already for three years since moving to Louisville. Dropped off a queen size Teton sleeping bag to be washed. Cannot believe you can trust anyone to dry clean your stuff for $2.05 a piece, but I stand corrected!! I dropped two dozen items including Armani and Dior and every piece was perfectly pressed and cleaned. It was super easy to drop off, pay in CASH, and collect my claim ticket. After picking up my order, I noticed that again everyone smiled. What a concept! Happy staff in a terrific business with a top quality service where they seem to genuinely appreciate their clients, even if we are getting an awesome deal. I went here today, after passing this location multiple times, and in need of having some garments dry cleaned. I frequent the coffee shop two doors down from this location and my kids go to the martial arts school next door, so it seemed like a great chance to continue to spend money at local businesses. I inquired about the pricing, apparently having missed the price on the window. I was informed all garments were $1.99, which was a good price. However, when I inquired about any discount for public servants, I was informed by the man in the place "the discount is on the window." I was uncertain what he meant and when I asked for clarification I was met with a flippant response of "if we mad the prices any lower we would go out of business." I was appalled that someone who was, either the manager or the owner, would have treated a potential customer in such a flippant manner. I told him, simply stating that was the lowest price they offered would have sufficed, to which he stated the way he had told me had sufficed as well. I will find a local business to give my business to but it will not be this business. As my kids and I were leaving martial arts tonight another "satisfied" customer was leaving Continental Cleaners, slamming his car door in rage and speeding out of the parking lot after an exchange I didn't hear with the same gentleman I had spoke to earlier. If they go out of business it will likely be due to their horrendous customer service and not their pricing structure. I would not even give this business a single star. read more

I was told the owner would call me the following day. I get a call from the same guy working there, manager does not come in until Friday. I was told they think they packed it up with another order, and to wait a week or 2 for someone to bring it back in. I love that I don't have to pay $8 for my shirt when my husband's shirts are $2 -you just don't see that elsewhere. The clothes come out great every time, and they've even caught something minor that I wouldn't have, and sent it back through to get it perfectly clean. Counting your items is not enough at pick up. You need to take a picture of every item you bring here because you may never see it again. It will be replaced with some random piece you won't notice until much later. Even with the tag still on they couldn't find my missing pieces. yes plural. Don't know if it was intentional or inadvertently missing because we have designer clothing. No apology, no offers to refund cost of dry cleaning. One review has reacted to a "speculative review" that had been posted. I agree with his assessment for appropriate reviews. So, I have decided to give only facts about my experience with Continental Cleaners. FACT: We took a rather expensive women's jacket to Continental Cleaners. The jacket was decorated with a pattern over the entire outer material. FACT: Continental Cleaners accepted the coat. FACT: When Continental Cleaners brought the coat out for us to pick up, the coat had no decoration on it. FACT: We were told that Continental Cleaners did not accept responsibility for the coat. We were told, by the owner, that it was our fault that the coat was ruined. We were told that we did not inform Continental Cleaners that the label specified a particular solvent. FACT: The owner called me one time to discuss the jacket. Subsequent to that, he would only call my girlfriend. I left a message with Continental Cleaners that he should discuss the matter with me. No other call was returned to me, even after two additional calls to the owner. read more
