The rates looked reasonable, so I scheduled a cleaning. Andy McFadden (owner / operator) showed up with his van and took a look at the various rooms and carpets. I am giving CleanTech Carpet Cleaning five stars for the following reasons: 1. Andy showed up right on time for the cleaning appointment. 2. He clearly advised what he was going to do in terms of cleaning the carpets and provided a time estimate to complete the cleaning. 3. Andy indicated that there would be multiple phases to the cleaning operation -- and that the particular cleaning solvent would not leave a smelly residue. That was certainly the case. 4. Although the cleaning required a bit more time than estimated, I have no complaint here -- Andy explained why it was taking a bit longer and I was happy with the results. 5. The carpets, in most rooms, looked nearly as good as new after the cleaning. 6. Andy went through a few filters in order to accomplish the cleaning. This accounted for the additional time and the excellent results. 7. The CleanTech flyer offered great rates on rooms, stairs, etc. I opted to get all the rooms and stairs cleaned. 8. I was pleased to know that this is a family business, where all members of the family are party to the business decisions and scheduled appointments. My socks look so dirty, it look like I've been walking outside in them. I do not feel like my carpets were clean. I'm not sure what happened but when they clean them and I walked in my sock it's shown how dirty the carpets really were. I don't expect it to look all dirty Like I have been walking outside. when I clean the carpet with a rental, I go over it about 2 to 3 times to make sure they're clean. Then when I walk around in my socks they stay clean looking and nice For a reasonable time. This Was the first time I used a carpet cleaning service. I am not sure if the socks looking dirty right after cleaned and dried carpets is normal.
