On the way home from a long drive to and from Palm Beach Gardens, we needed a pick me up. So we decided to stop at Bridge Street Coffee for a bite to eat and drink. The shop is located on a quiet street right next to the Forrey Grill, a restaurant we like very much. There are tables outside the shop which is delightfully welcoming. As you walk in you might wonder if you were in Alice in Wonderland! Adorably furnished with comfy couches, tables and high tops. The menu is large along with all kinds of coffees and teas. There is also ice cream and home baked goods. We sat down and our server brought me a large tall cold unsweetened ice tea with lemon. David had a mocha frappe topped with whipped cream! He also ordered the spicy bean and sausage soup. I opted for a cup of broccoli cheese soup and a chicken salad sandwich on sourdough bread. The food was super delish. The chicken salad with lettuce and tomato was one of the best I've had in a long time. Mine also came with a fresh baked macadamia nut cookie! We enjoyed our lunch and took in the lovely surroundings. What a great place for a tea party, birthday party or baby shower! We will definitely return on our next trip going to the east coast! read more

I just went through the drive up window to order a coffee, but the lady was rude and told me I can't order at the window? where are you supposed to order coffee? Best coffee spot in town, and a great detour if you're trying to get around the terrible traffic that stacks up in the middle of town 24/7. My Yelp friend Bruce from NC https://www.yelp.com/user_details?userid=hWDybu_KvYLSdEFzGrniTw who I had never met before asked me what I was saving it for so I replied meeting him and I did! He was in the Fort Myers area visiting family and we arranged to meet up in the sleepy little town of LaBelle. If you think I write a lot, Bruce is closing in on 17,000 reviews! I found the Bridge Street Coffee & Tea Shop also known by locals as Charlie's on Yelp and I think it was just about the only thing in town open on a Sunday. They have been operating since 2007 and pride themselves on being a place where locals and visitors like us can meet up and hang out. In addition to coffee they serve ice cream, soups, salads, sandwiches, and baked goods. I ordered coffee and a delicious berry pastries for only a few dollars. Prices are very inexpensive compared to where I live in south Florida on the east coast. The shop has wonderful places to sit and over giant steaming cups of coffee Bruce and I caught up on life and all things Yelp. It was so great meeting you Bruce and I look forward to catching up with you again if you find yourself in Boynton. Surprisingly unique, quaint, so much to see it's like stepping back in time. Feeling like you walked into a friend's home for a wonderful selections of coffees, teas, lattes, mochas LOL so much more they have a nice small selection of baked goods and even a small ice cream on the side. New to the area and found this gem on Yelp! We stopped in during a very hectic day for a working lunch. And when I say hectic, I mean working 24 hours straight with no sleep. We tried their cappuccino, iced tea and two lunch specials, the buffalo grilled cheese and chicken salad with Italian wedding soup.
