Conundrum Escape Rooms was such a great way to spend the holiday afternoon. We arrived with another couple and met Keegan fairly soon after walking in. The lobby area is small, but definitely large enough to hold a decent sized group. There was a video with information, tips and tricks about playing and storage lockers built into the bench seating. And some water, if you needed to mentally prepare for the journey ahead, lol. Keegan has the kind of voice that commands your attention but makes you also wanna pay attention - what a great fit. So, when he greeted us with a cheery hello, we all smiled. It only got better from there. We booked "A Cabin in the Woods" and learned later that this was a non linear escape room. The room included upwards of 30 separate puzzles and didn't require that you complete any of the puzzles in any particular order - perfect for us and any team who has lots of type A folks. We worked together on some things and separately on others, all the while coming back to scratch our heads, bellow out in laughter when Keegan jumped in for a hint we finally decided to ask for and realized we were all over thinking it(again). It was a blast. We were all very busy for the entire hour. No one will be bored. I've been a part of several escape rooms prior to Conundrum but this room was hands down the best. We all commented about how thoughtful the puzzles were, how creative and funny some were and how very detailed others were. There was something for everyone and many puzzles built upon one another, but not all. So good. Keegan was fabulous as well. When we broke down to ask for help, he helped - he didn't outright tell us, but it was very obvious he had been mindfully watching our journey and reminded us of things we had found or did previously - and all in that great voice. I can still hear him saying, "Hello there, campers!" and bless him, for playfully letting us know that the "storm" outside our cabin had stalled out and would be around for a few minutes longer. Keegan, you know as well as we did, we needed that extra time, lol! We had a blast. Keegan was great and there's a cool surprise at the end, when you've ended the experience - also not something I've seen with other escape rooms. We will be back. If you want to stretch your brain a little while laughing, spending time with friends and feeling a bit under pressure, this escape room has your name on it! Go, you will thank me later! read more

I've done escapes rooms in the past have always finished and loved all of them! I thought it would be a fun idea to take my family here while they're visiting. We did the mystic room which was rated as easy and it easy not easy. The clues to get to one another took very long and one of the tasks took over 20 minutes when only one team member can really do anything. We left feeling like we wasted our time and did not have fun. I did not enjoy this escape room like I do with other companies. I would not recommend or would come back because of our bad experience. read more

So much fun! We had the grandkids (ages 9 and 12) and did the Billy Bonka Escape Room. The puzzles seemed a bit random at first, but our guide, Ace, was able to guide us through. The whole group worked individually, and together to accomplish the escape just in the nick of time. Kids absolutely loved it and felt a sense of pride having conquered the task. My friends and I came here as we are a group of guys who love to do escape rooms. We ended up trying and completing the cabin in the woods escape room. Overall, the experience was great and perfect for a group of 4. The puzzles were a nice mix of easy and some challenging and outside of only one clue which we found to be a little silly (I'm looking at that funky tile clue), the room was a blast. It was very well put together, and the ambiance and atmosphere in the room were set up very nicely. Our clue master watching over us was friendly and didn't overstep or try to suggest anything until we came across the one clue I talked about above. The checking experience and the room were a lot of fun, and I'd definitely want to come back to experience some of the other rooms and experiences available! read more

We had a GREAT time doing our first escape room ever! We did Cabin in the Woods with the two of us and our 3 kids (15, 13, and 11). The puzzles varied in difficulty but all of them gave us a good challenge. With Cabin, everyone could theoretically stay busy working on their own thing, but we spent most of the time asking each other questions and working together to solve them. The setting is very cool, but I won't spoil anything. Highly recommend Cabin in the Woods for a family of five. It was perfect and our host, Keigan (sp?), was great fun and helped us when we needed it! We'll be back for more! read more

Cannot speak highly enough of this place! The theming of this escape room establishment is amazing! We did the Billy Bonka room and the detail and whimsy put into it was amazing! We had such a fantastic time that we immediately did the submarine one! The details on the submarine room really felt like you were in a submarine! There are so many great puzzles and it was great for our group of 5! If you love escape rooms this is a can't miss! We did the Cabin in the Woods room at the Lakewood location. It was a ton of fun with lots of puzzles we could all work on at once. (Caveat - the room is challenging, so best for individuals who have done escape rooms before). Mal was our "park ranger", and she did a great job being in character and also helping us with hints the couple of times we got stuck. She also recommended some rooms for us to try at both locations, and we plan to try the Experiment C73 room at the Arvada location in the near future! read more

After doing an escape room at the Arvada location, my friends and I checked out "Mystic Chamber" and "Dead Man's Secret" in Lakewood. Conundrum has the occasional gift card sale and discount, so it's hard not to become addicted to doing all the rooms!!! While there's less parking spots here, we've never had an issue being out front. Love the consistency in experience between staff and quality of rooms. It's pretty in & out--we're quickly given a brief of the room and sent right in with the timer starting. Very efficient. Both rooms were great, though there were a few puzzles we probably never would have solved without a tiny hint. Make sure to take photos before you leave. Would recommend to all! read more

Very interesting set up! I've been to this escape room company two times now. The first time we did a traditional room, where you got a series of clues to open up locks. This was interesting! Our clue master was very helpful! The second room we did was even more exciting! It wasn't a traditional room though, and by that, only one clue gave us a code to unlock a lock box. The rest were puzzles that to "turn on" something. Kinda like a light switch for a lack of better words. Solve this problem and hope a light turns on. I thought it was so interesting and I am very interested in finding other locations that offer rooms like that! Defiantly a great company! Can't wait to see what else they have to offer! read more

I love Conundrum Escape Rooms! I have visited once before as well, and have had a great experience both times. My favorite part about these escape rooms is that they feel higher quality than most. A lot of times escape rooms can seem thrown together with lots of second hand furniture, random props that don't fully make sense, feels a little dirty, etc. Not at Conundrum! It seems like their rooms are custom created with items in them that only make sense in that scene/scenario which really helps you get into the story of the puzzle you are trying to solve. Everything feels really clean too which is important now-a-days. The staff is great and very fun. I like that they don't limit their number of clues you can receive, and it is clear they are watching you to help you through the puzzles rather than getting distracted in the back while you get stuck on various puzzles and forgetting about you. The puzzles are also super creative as well, I have been to a few different escape rooms and these are much more unique than I have seen in other escape rooms from other companies. Definitely a good time, although I'm not sure why we decided to do the hardest room for our debut escape. Guess that's what happens when you hang out with a bunch of over-achieving brainiacs. We had an excellent time and would highly recommend Conundrum for your escape room escapades. Everyone was super friendly and informative. Not ever doing an escape room before I wasn't sure what to expect. The helpful people at Conundrum explained everything and we were on our way to finding our way to unlocking the mystery of Deadman's Secret. Conundrum has 4 escape rooms, each with a different theme and difficultly level. The pricing is great and they can accommodate large groups with a bit of notice. It was very dark and difficult to see anything. Obviously it was supposed to be in a cave but the flashlights were very dim so difficult to see anything in there. Also the clues were unnecessarily difficult and were all thrown in together so you didn't know what clues led to answers. If you have the COVID blues, sick and tired of lockdown...this is the antidote you need! A virtual escape room experience from the comfort of you own couch! And what's more...you don't have to live in Denver to experience the intrigue! Games are designed for 2-4 players (on up to 8 devices) and our friends from New York were able to join our team. I'm so glad they did or we may not have solved the puzzle with only one minute to spare! An advocate is in the actual room with a go-pro to be your eyes and ears. Everything was very well done with a clear explanation of play, interesting storyline, and complex solution. I have a touch of claustrophobia, so have never attempted an escape room but from the comfort of our couch we mirrored our PC onto out TV and the set came alive. It was a great way to spend an afternoon and I would highly recommend to everyone looking for a little break from the quarantine monotony without compromising safety and health. Our team went through Cabin in the Woods and while the physical space of this room is small, there was so much to go through and so many different types of puzzle. Conundrum focuses on hands-on clues and keeping things diverse, which makes it a good group experience since everyone has different problem-solving skills! We'll definitely go back! read more

The Hollywood Mystery scenario contained some of the best props and set pieces of any period-based escape rooms I've ever experienced! The audio and script lent themselves to an immersive and realistic scenario. Our host Logan was friendly and helpful. The reception area and briefing area were spacious for any size group. Booking was super easy and everyone we encountered was amazing! Great experience for them. And, we found a little bar/ disc golf store called Another Round right next door where many of the parents went. Great spot to have a drink and wait for the kids to finish their game.
