    Archery dodgeball area

I was skeptical if this would be worth it. When we arrived, a bunch of tweens were playing archery dodgeball. But boy was I wrong to think anything negatively. It was the most unique experience of my life. We had about 14 people on our team. We were mixed with another group, which made it so much more fun because then you are up against your friends. You're playing multiple games with different rules. It took about half an hour to get used to the "archery" part of the game for me. But by the end, I got the hang of it. And a cool workout. 60 minutes of running around was intense. Our lead made it super fun and was very clear with all of the instructions. Just keep an open mind and you'll have the most fun.

    Great time team building.

Johnny was a a great host. Kept things fun and had everyone saying nothing but great things. We loved the time and venue.

The best fun!! No experience necessary. All equipment included. Guided games. Best with big groups (max 20 people). The group and I went through a series of different games. Everything was guided by the referee. An hour was great but next time I would do 2 hours because time goes by in a flash! Can't wait to go again! Thank you archery games for a fun time!

Came here for my bachelor party with a group of 6. We bought our tickets in advance. We played multiple games with strangers and it was super fun. Highly recommend this if you want to do something different and fun. Wear comfy clothes because you will sweat.

Great place for party. Make sure to dress for a workout as you'll get sweaty The bows and arrows are of good enough quality and have a satisfying smack when it hits someone. Doesn't hurt though if you get hit They organize different game types like a free for all or zombie style Provide masks and arm protection though I wonder how well they get cleaned. I sweat a lot into mine. Hope they cleaned it well Next door there is a distillery to try when you get thirsty

Had so much fun playing this unique game! Ian and Olivia were awesome and super helpful !!

    Girl outing!

What a great experience!!! Went for a bachelorette party and we had so much fun. It can be as intense or not as your group wants it to be. Ian was our group leader/ref, and he caught our group's vibes and made sure everyone was having fun. 10/10 will come again if we visit Denver!

My group and I had so much fun here and I'm so glad we stumbled upon this place when we were in Denver for the weekend. Definitely one of our favorite parts of the trip and we didn't even know we would be doing it until like 2 hours beforehand. Jesse made the experience feel easy and exciting (even though half of us had no idea what we were doing), and the other groups that were there made it even more of a day to remember. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for unique things to do in the area!

It seems like they are only open at night which is awesome because I love going to the park at night as it creates a whole new atmosphere that the day can't match from the sights and sounds you can't really go wrong with a night at the park! Lots of this park is very run down like it really needs some help which made me kinda sad but happy to see it's still in operation if I had the money I'd totally fix it up and keep it nostalgic to its roots like get the roller coaster going and what not! Wild Chipmunk alone was worth the trip here as you don't see many coasters like that being operational anywhere a true gem in the coaster world! Their train ride was awesome too takes you to the edge of the property around the lake making for a long fun ride that we totally loved! They offer all day wristbands or tickets since we only rode a few things we went with the tickets making for a bit of a saver for us money wise so just plan accordingly if you choose this path! Overall this park is awesome I'd love to see it get the love and respect it deserves as I can tell this is a very valuable asset to this community and I hope to come back here again at some point because this truly is up there with my favorite parks I've ever been to straight up a vibe here the whole time!

My 2 year old especially loves the ball area and the food area. The story time was done by a music student who sang the books and had a wonderful voice. It was definitely not your average story time. There are two glaring things though that make me hesitate to ever want to make a second trip. One is the cafe. I'm not expecting the bougie majesty like you get at the Monterey Bay Aquarium, but this is in Denver. I'd consider us a pretty cosmopoliton city & this being THE Children's Museum for CO (since it's in our capitol), it should have a proper quick service option. Cold food options, fine, but a microwave for hot options? So disappointing. I noticed a lot of space dedicated to private parties, etc. Can we not junk that in favor of a real sit down spot? The worst thing though was the behavior of the older children that make the museum unusable in certain areas. Seemed to specficially be the kids on field trips. My nearly 2 year old loves a ball so you can imagine his delight in discovering the "Kinetics!" area. Despite there being what seems like a ton of balls, a bunch of unruly older children have managed to hoard them to where even adults can't wrangle one measly ball for their kid to hold. Once my poor son managed to acquire one, he ran off to a quiet corner & refused to let me show him how the exhibit worked with the tubes, etc. because he was too concerned about the ball being taken from him. Well, he was right to be concerned as these selfish older children came over & tried to take the ball from him despite them hoarding the entire room's balls insisting that they need that one too. My husband's head nearly exploded. The Bloom room is really the only safe haven for any kid let alone the young ones but my son will age out soon and then what? He's 99 percentile so even though he's one, he's already the size of a four year old but he still gets run over in rooms that are supposed to be for "all ages." Once my son ages out of the Bloom room there really is no incentive for us to come back here as the experience is way too violent, overstimulating, & a bully's playground. Similar instances happened in the Bubble room & the Market as well with different gangs of field trippers. We came on what felt like a very average day crowd wise (Thurs 9-11:30AM) so I can't imagine how awful it would be on a busier day. Really a shame that poorly parented/chaperoned kids have to ruin the experience of so many other children as I've seen multiple other reviews complain about the same thing. I should have take them more seriously.

The games were already fun but his presence blew up the fun meter. Jordan and staff was 10/10. My coworkers and I attended GSBR as part of our Holiday Party. We played survey battle, match up wars, cups (not like you've seen) and more. Our team had a blast, cause we won. The blue team had fun too but wants a rematch.
