I do find it annoying that without a member card you can't check out through self checkout at any Ohio grocery chain I've been to so far. Yeah, I know the little cards are free, but I don't need 10 of them on my keychain... Not sure what else to say - they have it all. A deli, a bakery, and a pharmacy. The household and hygiene items are in huge, well stocked sections. There's a literal wall of vitamins. A decent selection of occasion cards, books, and general school and office supplies. There's a large seating area at the front (next to the florist) which I guess you'd sit in if the hot bar was ever open. Last, but not least, they even have sushi - and it's not all that bad either.

We got all our groceries and were trying to pay at the self check out when we noticed you need a loyalty card that we obviously did not have. (8:45pm) We walked over to a maned register when the lady working the register yelled "ma'am I can check you out and you'll be my last of the day" to the lady BEHIND us. Completely denying us for zero reason. We then asked a man what to do with the self checkout and he bypassed the card requirement so we could check out. Once we scanned everything and went to scan the gift card we were having trouble trying to enter it so we called for help on the register. a young lady walked up to us and said "what do you need" in a sassy tone so we told her we were trying to use the gift card she then went to the right screen to scan said gift card then stormed off completely ignoring our thank you. Staff was completely unhelpful and had unacceptable customer service...except the one man who helped us use the register.

This store is convenient to the major interstate in the area and also hotels, etc…read more Is a large all-purpose department store with discounted prices for HomeGoods, clothing, pharmaceuticals, groceries, every day, items, etc. It's part of the broader chain well-known across the US and other places. I've come today because I needed to purchase some long underwear because I traveled without them and it dropped into the 20°F range! Not to mention the windchill factor is lesser than that! The workers are pretty serious when they are sticking or working don't get in their way, the customer is not first at all. Lol. Just got berries, they were all really fresh and lasted a while. Their produce always has great prices. Simple design and I can be in and out. DONT forget bags and a quarter.

Then one day they post a "no firearms" sign on the front door out of the blue. I interpreted that as "we don't want your business" so I stopped spending my money at a place that doesn't want me to shop there. Made several attempts to contact management to let them know why they lost my business. Eventually was able to talk to an assistant manager calling into the store. She seemed uninterested, and I'm sure my complaint never got past her. Their store, their right, but how stupid is it to ban a loyal customer who spends a lot of money over something this trivial and useless? Plenty of other merchants in town who WANT my business.
