I called up Alford days after my install because I had water coming up through the valve they installed on the system. To say the least, I was stressed about it. Alford sent over a young man named Jason Berry to check it out and he very quickly determined that some gravel around the valve was blocking the flow of water. He cleared out the gravel and then tested the system with my garden hose and water started immediately flowing into my sump pit! Problem solved! Stress over! Thank you Jason for a job well done!

I was quoted a couple of packages in the $28-$31k range, was offered a $3k discount if I signed that day. I was not going to do that. I mentioned other issues that were contributing factors and mentioned multiple stages. He mentioned fees for multiple visits; he wasn't sure He left after telling me that I would hear from the Account Manager soon. I then began addressing the main cause of the issues in the crawlspace - the gutters. I did also get another quote on the first part of the job - the cleanup - and contracted for that based on $$. At various times I received form E-Mails from my Account Manager asking if I was ready to get started on my project. So, on April 22nd, I responded to one of the E-Mails. I outlined what was being done on my project, the timeline, what still needed to be done, and offered them the opportunity to quote on what was left. I got crickets; no response. Today I got the same form E-Mail. I am going to unsubscribe. (And yes, I could have called, but I don't do phone well.) I suspect the work would have been top notch, but this left me - personally - feeling like no one cared about my house and it's REAL issues. As a result, I unintentionally entered the wrong area Using the entrance from Lowe's. Instead of calmly directing me, the foreman responded by yelling, using profanity, and aggressively gesturing with his arms. His behavior was intimidating and highly unprofessional. One of the other workers was courteous and redirected me to the correct entrance, but the foreman continued shouting and using inappropriate language toward me. Construction projects can create temporary traffic changes, and I understand that. However, there is no excuse for treating members of the public with hostility or disrespect. I hope the company addresses both the signage at work sites and the professionalism expected from employees interacting with customers.

I left more than one message and ALL of them were just ignored for no reason whatsoever. When we spoke on the phone everything was fine - he just isn't reliable. At the time of the phone call, he also said it might be several weeks before he could "fit me in" after the estimate (that never happened) so there are multiple reasons to avoid this guy.
