As the property manager of my private marina, I have found Conway apparently not well versed in the covenants of the marina HOA. I experienced and still pending an alleged infraction concerning a garden hose they want removed. . I received a letter that they cite the governing documents as addressing their claim but those documents do not do so as far as I can find. They do not cite any specific covenant. Also other slip owners have the same "infraction"of having a water hose(s)at their slips. Apparently they can but I cannot after 22 years of ownership. Multiple email attempts for them to explain have been met with total silence. I am 79 years old. Previous occasions with others, as a senior, I have been met with an attitude that he is old and not worth the effort. This creates sensitivity to how we seniors are treated in America. I have no evidence or cannot say that this is their motivation or maybe it's just plain incompetence. I told them I am willing to understand their allegation, but difficult to do so when Conway does not respond to emails they said to use with concerns. read more

The worse company I have ever worked with!!!. I don't leave reviews usually. I can't get them to fix a 5 minute parking issue, that legally had 30 days to fix. I don't have access to my condo. Our experience with Conway Management (Baltimore Maryland area) was very negative. Their manager, Mike Rose was very unprofessional and acted like a dictator. We finally had to get a lawyer involved, and which case Mr. Rose had to back down. I would never recommend this company! read more

I moved into my home about 2 months ago. On sunday Oct 13th put out signs that they needed the homeowners to move there cars by 8am the next morning. Between the time of 5pm and 7pm they decided to tow my car illegally without my knowledge. They have never reached out to me or talked to me just up and towed it. At first i thought someone had stole it but then i realized the person that stole it is my own Management company. I have been trying to rectify this situation since Mon morning. They refuse to even help or even listen. I spoke with only 2 people there Vince and Maria who have been completly rude and dismissive. Maria told me that Vince would help but that was a lie because all he did was make up story about how they tried to reach out to me and couldnt get a hold of me. They even said they tagged my car to let me know. What they dont know is i walk everyday on my breaks. I walk 4 times a day. I pass my car so if you leave something on it i will see it. Thats how i know it was towed between 5pm and 7pm because it was still there when i got back from my 3rd walk. No notice. This company has a one star on every review board there is. Google, Better business Beauru and Yelp and they all say the same thing that this company is a nightmare. This is my first time buying a house and it is a nightmare. Imagine you cant even park your car because these people with tow it and make up a story about how they tried to call and contact you when they didnt. When i talked to Vince i asked why did you tow my car. He said he had people watching me and my property and felt i dont drive enough to have it there. He tried to say i use it for storage. i said how can it be storage when i live here. I try to reach out to Doug and he refused to return my calls. All of this could have been avoided if they just would have talked to me. This company stole my car and it cost me $330 to get it out. I just want my refund and for them to stop stalking me. This place is obbsessed with parking thats why i tried to park it a couple doors down because i cant even park in my own home. If no one belives this than look at there reviews. This company has been reported so many times im shocked they still allowed to operate. Everyone has the same story of how this company did something to them and refuses to take responsiblity. Conway Management is HORRIBLE, I called about the lawn next door (rented property) and they said I had to put it writing (are they serious???). Before calling I spoke with the person that is renting the property and they have called the owner several times and they cannot get him to come and take care of it. So who do I have to go to to get this done since we are a private community????? The owner does nothing to take care of his property. read more

Wish I could leave zero stars. Worst management company. We deal with property manager Mike Rose, who never returns messages, emails. When he does he is rude and does not help at all. The office does not use voicemail and leave handwritten notes in book for communication. Trying to get any question answered expect to call multiple times and then wait for 6 months to hear something back. But they will be the first to let you know that you skipped an HOA payment. read more

The worst company i have ever dealt with! They do not cash checks you send them, you cant pay in advance, and there is no way to track that they recieved their payment aside from continuously cgecking your bank account for weeks! No customer service, they are awful!!! read more

This company runs our HOA and is horrible. They never do anything to help us out. Abondoned house everywhere with the houses in terrible condition. Snow removal is horrendous. Its impossible to get them to do anything. They put everything in our hands but they keep on collecting and increasing our fees with no issue. Have spoken to many other people who have HOA and they can't believe when I tell them about ours. They make special deals with some abondoned houses as long as they pay their dues and meanwhile house looks terrible then left to us to call baltimore county. Can't wait to move! read more

Finally sold our house so can post an honest review. Expect many hassles and rude service. We tried to sell our house 3 years after buying it and were told that we had to repaint a portion of the roof and some discolored spots that were there when we bought it. Sent several emails and made several phone calls to follow up on these conditions and received not a single reply. At $51 a month, they do about as much as you would think. I'm a real estate agent and needed to get the HOA Docs for the buyer. Conway Management Co. uses HomeWise for the HOA Resale Package. HomeWise is a company in California who takes their time (20 days) mailing the HOA Docs (longest delivery time of all HOA Docs I've worked with to date) and charges more money than any other HOA Docs company I've dealt with to date. HomeWise uses a tracking system which is useless. Only lets you know when the seller paid for the Docs and when the documents expect to be received and nothing in between. Conway Management Co. doesn't return calls and you can never speak to anyone but the secretary. Both Conway Management Co. and HomeWise are two companies I would never recommend. read more

This company lacks any IT (Information Technology). From the time I lived in Belmont, you can't make any payments online and they haven't gotten a company website till last year. I wouldn't be surprised if I walked in this company and found typewriters and rotary phones. Out of my two houses, car insurance and mortgages they are the only company I have to physically mail and send a check!!!! read more

Our condo association has been using this company since 1989. Our condo association has over $300,000 in unpaid condo fees, green algae on all the buildings , rotting wood on the outside, and a condo fee that keeps going up with no end in site. No bank will give an FHA or VA loan due to the unpaid condo fees. Clearly Conway Property Management Company is incompetent. Hopefully our condo association will switch management companies before it is to late. read more

If I could give them one star I would. They are horrible. Streets are not plowed timely. Sidewalks are unsafe. Numerous watermain breaks. They just patch them cheaply. Customer service is horrible. Payments not posted timely and then they say you are late. Once I asked for the stamped posted envelope and they say the throw them away. Once they said I had a broken piece if siding and I asked them to show me what they were talking about. They didn't come out and told me I must have fixed. Sure. I went up 30 feet and had the siding redone in a day. I think out assn chooses them because they are cheap. I guess you get what you pay for read more

Hello to everyone, I am writing this to let everyone know that this has got to be one of the worst management company's in all of Harford county. First off if u make a call to them they don't do crap with fixing the problem or do anything. Second off if you talk to chris the management guy that's like talking to a dead tree in the woods. Third off it takes them months to fix stuff. Fourth off they hire the lowest budgeted contractors who are so unsafe it's not even funny. (They don't wear hard hats while working, they leave trash around and don't cover things up each night that people could trip over it etc). They are the slowest workers I have ever seen. (They lay like 30 feet of pipe each day and then go home). Fifth if chris the manager is at your location watch him he will throw his cigarette butts in your yard. (If you question him about it he won't apologize or pick the cigarettes up). Also he will say to you what are you going to do about it. What a great property manager (not).
