The tenants only paid their first month's rent, and after that, they were late and never paid the full amount. Then stopped paying altogether. My biggest issue with HomeWorks is their lack of professionalism. It seems like they use a third-party receptionist, so you have to schedule a call with your actual property manager. The property managers constantly miss the scheduled calls, and getting information that should only take a few minutes can take days. To date, I have had eight missed meetings with Christine and Zaphyr. To make matters worse, the portal is never up to date, so you have to call to know what is going on with your property. It has been a complete nightmare working with this company. Save yourself the headache and find a different property manager.
