Been to this place twice and both times were horrible experience. The order taker at the time of visit was not the best one. She was not understanding our order and it took forever for her to take and complete our order. The drive thru was unjustifiably moving slow. Let's start with the positive, this place serves their food fast, they have a big menu (which made it hard for me to decide what to order, you get a ton of food for the price and the food is good. I took my kids, for the 4 meals I spent $20, which is awesome. The kids meals coming with two sides is actually probably too much but the fact that they got to choose two, made them super happy. The onion rings were so good. The burger was also good, nothing gourmet but that's to be expected, but still very good. The orders were all right, that in itself deserves accolades! The only downside is the fires are mushy, I think because the styrofoam steams them a little but we decided to reheat them at home for more of a crunch. I love cookout! I grew up on there milkshakes and trays! As I got older and food selections were more limited I decreased my cook out orders to slaw, milkshakes, Crushed Ice, and maybe an occasional cheese quesadilla. Recently I had a taste for some cole slaw and ice. I stopped by the store and as I was digging into my coleslaw getting closer to the bottom I noticed red coloring and brown. After closer inspection I felt very disgusted, unsure if I had an old cup of slaw or a utensil that had been used to make a sandwich. I have a cookout obsession! I especially love this location! Cookout is not your typical fast food place!
