He began the job but ran into a problem installing the window stormbusters. He found an alternative to its installation. Even though the installation couldn't be completed that day, he took the time to go to the store to purchase the materials needed to ensure the product functioned as intended. He came back the following day and completed the job. Even though the project took more hours than he estimated, he didn't change the estimated quote. I only had to reimburse him for the materials he purchased. Stormbusters are a product that is clear and allows the outside light into the room. It is placed over the window to protect it from flying objects during a hurricane. The insurance company recognizes them as window-projectile-proof protection and offers a discount on house insurance. I give Jose 5 stars and recommend you contact him for your next handyman project. The owner James, agreed to pay me $75 an hour to install one of his over priced barn doors…read more He said it would only take three or four hours, it took 11 hours and though I recommended adding a header because there were no studs he hung a heavy barn door, bolted four times into drywall, and only three times into header studs. He then only paid me for three hours of work. I was outraged by this and he said the agreement was for three hours and I said well it wasn't three hours it was 11 hours. This piece of garbage doesn't pay what he owes. He agreed on text message later that he owed me an additional $520 but tells me that I have to take him to court because I hurt his feelings. I have it on record that he acknowledges that he owes me the full amount and this jerk has the audacity to tell me he's going to wait to pay me for it to process through court. Do not do business with this man. He doesn't install the work the correct way and he cuts corners. And then he wanted to demand my insurance and say that I am 100% responsible for the door install when I told him the correct way to do it, and all he did was dictate how he wanted it done and get in the way and slow down the door install process , he doesn't know how to use a tape measure and he measured it incorrectly so many times I had to redo everything he was trying to do. It would've taken half the time had I done this by myself, including opening up the drywall and adding additional studs for the barn door to mount to. This guy does terrible work and then he is a hostile liar. Manipulator. Trying to pay me $50 an hour instead of 75, and then coming up with nonsense babble about wanting to meet me in person just to waste my time and try to pay me less than what he owes.

ER visit - cast - from poor quality designed furniture…read more Loved the look of my tables from here, however had some staff that built the benches that were very top heavy. They had put layers of the felt pads under the legs on the benches which also didn't help the bench issue? They bandaided that problem (I never knew about the layers of felt until after ER visit). My daughter was on the bench that tipped and smashed her toe, resulting in an ER visit and cast for weeks. Please note, I was sitting right next to my child in a chair at the moment this happened. (She is not a wild unsupervised child.) The owner took back our benches and gave us back some money. Also quality issues for the actual table. The table also had issues with falling apart and had to go back in to be reworked. I found an amazing craftsmen with great customer service from Pinellas to work for me now, he meets at my house and will deliver for free. He does all of the work himself and truly cares about his high quality end product. Sadly, I wouldn't recommend this place. From the first impression to the last impression, it's all about great customer service and they could have taken the table back with the benches after the way we were treated at the end. Too small of a town to be treated poorly.

Each day Robert and his team showed up between 7:30/8 am continued to impress us with their professionalism and meticulous nature. Our home looks brand new and we couldn't be more pleased! This is our second time working with them after originally booking them for some interior bedrooms 3 years ago when we moved in. Our neighbors have been calling / texting and complimenting the house already! He was incredibly fair with his pricing and patient with my asks . He told me a price and there were no surprise cost despite him finding rotting wood in multiple places that he went out of his way to patch and repair. BEWARE! I'd leave a zero if I could. These guys are…read moreunlicensed, advertising falsely, and doing everything wrong. But will argue about it and gaslight you into thinking they know what they are doing. I have had a professional landscaper evaluate everything they did in my yard, and I will most likely need to have it all redone. Including the sprinkler system that was improperly installed. They didn't even properly replant some well established very expensive plants that died within a few weeks. I could go on. They claim to have 10 years experience and to be #1 in Tampa Bay Area, but there is no evidence to be found. There is another Southern Dreams on Tennessee, but not them. But when I initially asked, they said it was. They claimed to have relocated the company to here in Florida. The "owners" only met 4 years ago. I found a tree removal service they had in a small town in Tennessee called Rodrick's. And a scathing review. Beware.

They had to remove a 6x6 post along with remnants of some other fence post that was here from long ago. They performed a very nice neat clean job. They showed up when they said they would and did exactly everything by the book which also means filing permits and arranging inspections which is always PITA. From the 3 bids I got they were not the most expensive nor the cheapest but what they were was responsive and followed through with their work which is rare to find a residential contractor like this in Florida. Would use again when the rest of the wood fence finally falls apart

Hurricane Helene damaged our wooden fence and Milton completely destroyed it…read more I saw several recommendations on our neighborhood's social media page that people were very happy using Andrew Ryan. We got our estimate fast and were scheduled for our new fence a few months later. This delay was completely understandable considering how much damage there was in our area. On our scheduled date, two workers showed up on time and spent the better part of a day replacing our old wooden fence with a new, vinyl one. I can't say enough good things about the value, quality product, and customer service we received.
